Sajid Javid Confronted Over Mandatory Vaccination by Unvaccinated NHS Consultant: “The Science Isn’t Strong Enough”

Health Secretary Sajid Javid has been directly challenged by an unvaccinated hospital consultant over the Government’s policy of compulsory Covid jabs for NHS staff. Sky News has more.

During a visit to King’s College Hospital in south London, Mr. Javid asked staff members on the intensive care unit about their thoughts on new rules requiring vaccination for NHS workers.

And Steve James, a consultant anaesthetist who has been treating coronavirus patients since the start of the pandemic, told the Health Secretary about his displeasure.

“I’m not happy about that,” he said. “I had Covid at some point, I’ve got antibodies, and I’ve been working on Covid ICU since the beginning.

“I have not had a vaccination, I do not want to have a vaccination. The vaccines are reducing transmission only for about eight weeks for Delta, with Omicron it’s probably less.

“And for that, I would be dismissed if I don’t have a vaccine? The science isn’t strong enough.”

Mr. James also revealed another of his colleagues held the same position.

Mr. Javid replied: “I respect that, but there’s also many different views. I understand it, and obviously we have to weigh all that up for both health and social care, and there will always be a debate about it.”

The consultant suggested the Health Secretary could use the “changing picture” of the Covid pandemic during the Omicron wave to “reconsider” the rule.

Alternatively, Mr. James suggested, the government could “nuance” the rules to allow those who have antibodies – but acquired from infection and not vaccination – to not be required to have a jab.

He told the Health Secretary that it “didn’t make sense” to dismiss doctors who already had Covid antibodies, but who did not want to be vaccinated.

“The protection that I’ve got from transmission is probably the equivalent to someone who is vaccinated,” Mr James said.

But Mr. Javid told him “at some point that will wane as well”. He added that the government takes the “very best advice” from vaccine experts.

“I respect your views and more than that I respect everything you’re doing here and the lives you’re saving,” the Health Secretary told Mr. James.

I respect everything you’re doing – but I’m going to sack you for not getting vaccinated, even though you’ve got antibodies and the vaccines don’t prevent infection or transmission.

What a disgraceful, disgusting arrogant reply from Javid. Apart from anything the NHS does not deserve our respect. It wastes obscene amount of our hard earned money, when we need it for anything other than Covid we are either turned away or made to wait for a disgracefully long time, lazy GPs are spending all day at home well refusing to see patients, nurses are always demanding to be paid more money and on top of all that this organisation has the cheek to say it needs yet more of our money.

Exactly, usually this sort of discussion would be simply censored away. Most political “debates” are like that – only pre-approved questions allowed, and anyone from “opposition” usually holding back in their own self interest (because they do not want their own bollocks to be torn down to pieces during a next round). There should be more interviews when a stupid politician is squirming to answer normal people’s questions without an opportunity to end the interview and flee, as they are usually fond of doing.

Well, all this time us sceptics have been told we must listen to the ‘experts’. They just never said which experts.

Now, medical consultant who works in ICU (the very sector we are all being crucified to protect) and has been on the front-line – if Sajid Jabbit tells you your views on infection-induced immunity are pointless, he is speaking as an expert.

As a money-man, he knows there is no money to be made from natural immunity. Vaccine-induced immunity on the other hand … and the more temporary it is and the more jabs it requires, the more money to be made.

When will the medical profession and those scientists with any integrity and scruples realise that the only expertise at issue is that concerning the raking in of huge, huge amounts of money?

By the way, did you ask Mr Jabbit if he teaches his granny how to suck eggs as he, a financier, explains to you, a medical expert, about waning immunity?

I remember distinctly one day when an important local politician visited our research institute. We, the young researchers, who were supposed to present our research, were briefed beforehand by our principals on how to explain things to him (“imagine you’re speaking to an idiot kid”). We were also advised to forgive, not act embarrassed and quickly change topic if he acts stupid or starts asking ridiculous questions (“Mr. X is a very busy man, but a lot of our grant money depends on his decisions”).

Later on I understood that this is the general healthy relationship between experts and politicians. The expert helps the politician cover his complete ignorance of any subject and shift blame if need be while the politician in turn helps the expert get (lots of) money from public pocket.

FrankFisher

This is a huge positive folks. An expert in his field with over 20 years experience talks to a man who had been in his job a year and tells him he’s making a mistake.

More telling was the start of the clip where Javid asks the nurses, who are universally silent. They too think this is a bad idea.

Mark my words, SJ will scale this back in very short order. When senior medical NHS staff are telling him he’s making a mistake, he will change tack.

The doctor put his finger on the crux of the problem. All the “experts” cannot be experts in dealing with Omicron because it has not been around long enough. They should be listening to the infomation that is coming out of South Africa. The accidental Sky News doctor was not accidental in any way shape nor form. NHS set it up and Javid accepted it. It opens 2 avenues of retreat for both parties, first it sets up the NHS not to accept the compulsory vax and then it will allow the care workers to go back to work. Secondly for the government it it is a crack to open up to start to say the vaccines dont work so we need to get on with life.

If this is true – which wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest, then it is interesting.

It chimes with what over the course of the last 7 days felt like “backpedalling” on a number of fronts by the UK govt as far as England is concerned [shame same cannot be said of the celtic fringe].

If the govt is preparing to say that the vaccines are not the solution and we need to get on with life then the only way they will emerge from that with any credibility is if they issue an immediate order to the celtic fringe nations to tell them to remove the vaccine passports. And a full dismantling of the covid apparatus plus the Coronavirus Act and all accompanying measures. By their actions will you know them.

Makes me wonder if someone somewhere on high has been disappointed with what Omicron is doing and yelling “abort, abort, abort” while they all run for cover.

I was under the impression that most sports stars , celebrities and msm journos were vaccine experts , however after listening to the Consultant Anaesthetist Steve James , I may have to reconsider.

But we’ve been tolled that all the people who haven’t had the jab are fuckwitts that need educating.

This is the beginning of the walkback. They won’t do it all at once; just incrementally. That this was ‘allowed’ to (a) be discussed with the health secretary in the open (b) filmed and (c) broadcast speaks volumes.

No. It just means they were taken by surprise by somebody speaking “off message”. They are probably so hubristic that it never occurred to them that somebody might have a different opinion and also be brave enough to voice it.

A complete set up, a climb down by all in the making. No way was this a chance encounter

Possible, but so long as the fascists retreat I don’t care if it’s because they choose to retreat or not. This fight isn’t over but delay suits us.

The consultant want to protect himself and his patients.

The politician doesn’t want people to realise that the government has spend gazillions on injecting everyone with a vaccine that by any measure has extraordinarily poor performance and probably has made things worse.

Steve James is hundred times the man Javid is. Mighty respect. This loathsome Government is as craven and vile as it gets. This is particularly poignant and brings into pure relief the insanity and evil that exemplifies this Government and Parliament.

Would that be Cyanide then – only one is required (but do remember to crack it between your teeth to get the full effect – some normal adverse reactions expected ).

Savage Jabber will be chewing the carpet tonight.

I noticed the doctor ignoring the menacing manager in the background. He probably thought, “I’m going to be sacked anyway so what the heck!”
