Brexit Minister Resigns in Protest of ‘Plan B’ Restrictions

Lord Frost has resigned from the Cabinet following the Government’s decision to introduce ‘Plan B’ restrictions. Writing to the Prime Minister, Frost accused Boris Johnson of breaking his promise to ensure that the re-opening of the country during the summer months was “irreversible”. The Telegraph has more.

Lord Frost quit the Cabinet on Saturday night over concerns about Boris Johnson’s Covid curbs and the Government’s “direction of travel”, as the Prime Minister considered calls for a third national lockdown beginning as soon as this week.

The Cabinet Office minister, who was leading Johnson’s post-Brexit negotiations with the European Union, resigned over the Government’s ‘Plan B’ Covid measures, having held private concerns for months about Covid restrictions and the Government’s economic policy, including its planned National Insurance hike.

In his resignation letter, Frost reminded Johnson of his pledge that the lifting of restrictions in the summer would be “irreversible”. He also urged the Prime Minister to “deliver on the opportunities” of Brexit by moving “as fast as possible” to “a lightly regulated, low-tax, entrepreneurial economy”.

The resignation of such a close ally creates a major new crisis for the Prime Minister. His concerns about the direction of the Government echo the views of many Tory backbenchers.

One senior Tory backbencher said: “The trouble is Frost speaks for the party. This is the beginning of the end.” A senior minister said they were not at all surprised at Lord Frost quitting the Cabinet, adding: “I know he opposed ‘Plan B’. The Prime Minister’s supporters are the ones who are least keen on the restrictions. The ones who want to undermine him want the restrictions. Frost going just proves that.”

Frost initially offered to resign earlier this month over Plan B, and had been persuaded to stay on until the New Year. He quit with immediate effect on Saturday night after news of his resignation leaked.

Frost’s resignation emerged as the Prime Minister was weighing up a “sliding scale” of new Covid restrictions, with Sajid Javid warning that ministers may have to introduce new measures on the basis of “early and patchy” data.

As the Government’s scientific advisers called for an “immediate” curtailment of indoor mixing to combat the spread of omicron, the Prime Minister was considering a range of potential measures, from new guidance on restricting social contact, to a third national lockdown.

Frost, a former adviser to Johnson during the Prime Minister’s time as Foreign Secretary, was among a series of Cabinet members opposed to new restrictions.

Johnson is a globalist stooge hellbent on destroying his country on orders of shadowy figures at davos. Frost is astute enough to see the writing on the wall for this doomed administration which is a stain on the history of this island. More resignations to come if these idiots inflict us with plan c.

Even if Johnson and his whole administration goes, a carbon copy will be installed in its place. It will be done in the same way Johnson was installed when May was exposed as the globalist stooge she was. Portray the chosen one as the next Churchill. Get him or her to say all the right things on Europe, immigration and economic prudence. Get the lemmings to fall for it all over again. Once in power the new administation ignores all its promises and continues the Agenda 21/30, Net Zero, Great Reset agenda. Rinse and repeat. Its been done for generations. Its how we are where we are, but the stakes are much higher now. There are some very dark days ahead.

Yes as with Davos “placeman” Hancock, shuffled aside over an ‘affair’ to take the heat off his midazolam purchase and use in Care Homes, Johnson will simply be shuffled aside with guff about family pressures .illness ‘overwork'(sic) etc etc.

Our great fear must be the double-down evil replacement they will fix to put in his place – plenty to choose from in the Cabal.

Johnson and his Banker family have been ‘close’ to Gates for years – they share a keen interest in eugenics.

Gates and Fauci formed an alliance to pursue their common interest .in “vaccines” in 2000 . We see the results all around us.

Clearly totally exasperated by the Tories failure to tell the EU to take a hike.
Fascinating too how the climate-obsessed Telegraph manages to bury Frost’s objection to Johnson’s Carbon Zero madness.

The British used to spend v large sums on holiday in Europe – if that is spent here instead it is all to the good.
This is a minor resignation since he was going in January, though a good start. We need some key Cabinet figures to resign. I’ve given up any hope of Jacob RM finding a moral compass. Any bets on the most likely to go next?

Kim Jong Johnson is a great fat communist fraud.

Fascism is a form of socialism, Mussolini’s economic policy was identical to the British Labour party’s theory of guild socialism.

David Beaton

‘Fascism’ was defined by Mussolini as the marriage of Corporatism and the State – seems about right.

He should know – he invented it. The present version has Globalist pretensions but otherwise is much the same (other than the overlay of the eugenics agenda and the fiendish project of Pharma Tyranny over the human body and the manifest evil of ‘transhumanism’ ).

In practice, since guild socialism could not be implemented, Mussolini’s policy was an incomplete version of the theory known as German socialism, a theory formed in the nineteenth century.

Sadly one or two resignations won’t deter the fanatical puppets of Westminster. Frost is like a fly pinging off their windscreen as they go full throttle back into lockdown.

No doubt they’ll have a replacement puppet lined up who will obediently vote in line with his masters. My local MP is a perfect example of such a creature. Ian Levy has never voted against the government since his perfectly timed therefore questionable by election “victory” right at the start of this shit show.

David Beaton

Johnson has already gone in their minds – they are currently arranging how to slide his replacement into Office with minimum fuss.

Be sure that we ‘the people’ will have nothing to do with it.

The intention will be ‘business as usual’ with the Reset Project and to keep the “Emergency” Tyranny powers in place for years to come so they can take away all our freedoms at will. If there are problems Starmer witth his “Tri Lateral” connections is on hand to help out.

JayBee

Doesn’t help the cause of freedom then, if one of the supporters of it and him resigns, unless he and they can also replace Mr. Johnson with one of them.
Let’s also not fool ourselves.
The country is not turning against the Tories and him over the restrictions, only over the sleaze and the Christmas party.
The pensioners are mainly turning against him because their homes being at risk to pay for social care, they appreciate the restrictions.
And the Gregg’s men, red wall and his core voters are turning against him mainly because of the cost of his going too green, which is a strategy he had to embrace to let the Tories have an electoral future with the young. If only Labour is being seen as being green, the Tories are sadly toast.
Which would actually be best for the country, as it and the young can’t and won’t come to their senses otherwise: let Green Labour ruin the country for 4 years and then see a truly liberal and conservative party reform it for the next decades.
Germany has just started that process.

That’s what all mainstream COVID outlets relentlessly repeat. But this Christmas party was little but a cooked-up distraction and the people affected by the Corona politics know damn well that they all had Christmas parties themselves. This lockdown was only ever a lockdown of those without domestic social support networks. Plus the teetotalers getting to implement some of their wetter wet dreams.

Lord Frost was right to quit, particularly now this article/twitter exchange between Fraser Nelson and a member of SAGE is out: .

Basically, SAGE were only asked to model BAD OUTCOMES from the Omicron variant, in order to justify desired policy decisions. Not to inform and give likely scenarios.

If this is true it is beyond disgusting. They are destroying lives and life-chances based on LIES AND THEY KNOW IT.

The 1922 must get rid of Johnson.

Meanwhile, in the glorious, freedom-loving EU, the French follow the Germans and Austrians down the path of health fascism:

Castex announced that, effective from January 3, 2022, the booster shot can be received in four months, instead of the current five months, after the second dose, reports Xinhua news agency.

“A draft bill will be submitted at the beginning of January to transform the health pass into a vaccination pass,” he announced, stressing that “only vaccination will be valid in this pass”.

According to him, the non-vaccinated will have to get vaccinated as the only valid document presented will be proof of vaccination and not a negative PCR test.

The Prime Minister also said the authorities will “tighten controls and penalties for false passes”.”

As a friendly reminder: The precautionary mask mandate to allow the scientists time to assess the situation was to be reviewed next Tuesday. Before the parliamentary vote on it, that is. Of course, this was immediately followed by a bonfire of civil liberties and – almost three weeks later – the scientists still claim that they don’t no anything and that more restrictions must urgently introduced because of this.

The German word for scientist is Wissenschaftler. A crude literal translation of that could be knowledge creator. The SAGEs are ignorance cowboys.

The government has surrendered control to unelected technocrats. If the technocrats keep control, the puppets can be changed as often as needed over secondary issues to deflect public anger (Ferguson sacked from SAGE. Hooray! But still on NERVTAG doing his worst).

i) SAGE/NERVTAG should be required to produce only most likely predictions, none of this worst case crap.
ii) Mass testing of asymptomatic people must cease.
iii) SAGE should cease to be a vaccinator/mad modeller fiefdom. One vaccinator and the rest othe relevant areas of interest – immunology, wider health care, mental, social, etc.

The Deep State will be outraged, and their MSM puppets will open fire, indicating it is the right approach. Currently the Deep State is more than happy for a puppet or two to take one in the knee to satiate peurile public outrage.
