Sign These Five Petitions

Below is a list of five petitions, which are available to sign at petition.parliament.uk, that relate to repealing Government lockdown measures and vaccine mandates, as well as repeal the state’s political power to enact these restrictions. A link is provided next to the petition’s title that will take you directly to the appropriate page and URL link. If a petition reaches 100,000 signatures, it must be considered for a debate in Parliament – so get signing!

Prohibit employers from requiring staff to be vaccinated against Covid (here)

Make it illegal for any employer to mandate vaccination for its employees. This should apply to all public sector (including the NHS, armed forces, care workers), third sector and all private sector.

Do not make vaccination against Covid mandatory (here)

Do not under any circumstances make vaccination against Covid a requirement for the public. To coerce in the form of fines or otherwise, as is being proposed in Austria, would be a grotesque violation of bodily autonomy.

Repeal all ‘Plan B’ Covid measures (here)

The Government must immediately repeal existing ‘Plan B’ measures, and not introduce any additional measures. This means repeal all mask mandates, not making proof of vaccination (or negative test result) a requirement for any venues, and not requiring people to work from home.

Do not require a Covid passport for access to any services, jobs or events (here)

Covid Passports are divisive, discriminatory and wrong. The Government should not implement them for any domestic purpose. It is divisive and discriminatory to deny individuals access to general services, businesses or jobs which these passports could be used to do.

Referendum in the United Kingdom to abolish the Coronavirus Act (here)

The Government as a matter of urgency, to bring to Parliament for approval, legislation to have a referendum on the above subject within a maximum of six months.

I don’t think that at this point we would be happy with the outcome of a referendum on the Coronavirus Act. I think people are much too brainwashed to vote in accordance with the facts. But, on the other hand, we are much more motivated to get out and vote than the average sheep.

I certainly wouldn’t. Apparently three PMs, Attlee, Heath and Thatcher, all said that referendums were unconstitutional.

For that matter I’d be unhappy with a referendum on capital punishment because it’s illegal in the whole of Europe thanks to the Council of Europe (the body Churchill helped set up, long before the EEC/EU). It would just be a vote on breaking the law and playing to the mob.

Similarly, I think on the basis of what Lord Sumption has said the police state legislation is illegal. So a referendum on it would be ridiculous.

I think it was Attlee who pointed out that referendums were a popular tool of dictators. His point was well made; currently, mask wearing would be endorsed, and possibly compulsory vaccination. There is no such thing as ‘common’ sense – always a hard deal for democrats.

A referendum is never a good idea. It’s going to be won by the interested party which does the most efficient propaganda. And this will usually be the party least hampered with anything resembling truthfulness. Eg, the exact same people to whom sovereignity of the UK was of utmost importance, no matter how costly that’ll turn out to be, are now happily governed by supranational expert comittees. They only thing they still have in common with the former selves is that still don’t care for the costs.

NB: I’m going to ignore all attempts at turning this away from the Johnsons, Goves and Cummings and towards a general Brexit discussion. This topic is over.

EVERYTHING makes a difference. Takes you less than one minute to sign the petition. If everyone who cared signed the petitions things would change!! One is close to 100,000 now. If everyone who cared signed, it would be a million plus. THEN they’d take notice!! But people don’t bother. It’s like the marches. Some people say they don’t do any good. Well, if everyone who cared was THERE, had always been there, from the start, we wouldn’t be where we are!

The abusers aren’t really the intended audience (other than as a perfunctory statement of displeasure at their policies). The audience is the public – to try to turn their minds. My preferred rallying cry is “take back your freedom” not “give us our freedom back”.

Nothing makes a difference. We have had petitions with hundreds of thousands of signatures. Difference made? None. We have had Freedom marches with over a million people in attendance. Difference made? None. All across Europe there has been march after march, with massive turnouts. Difference made? None.

‘Then what do we do…’

Hard to answer that. As I say, the shift in mood will come and this will end. Until then, I’d suggest continuing to talk to people, both on and off the internet, share important/relevant information, continue to confront the faithful with the moral and rational arguments… Most of all, as a Christian, I pray that God protects his people, the children and the vulnerable from this evil, that he grants people the wisdom to see/wake up to what is going on, that these tyrannical rulers be granted repentance, and if not be brought to heel and punished for their wickedness according to God’s timing.

‘…sitting around waiting for the inevitable knock on the door or volunteering for the “poison death shots” don’t seem like good options.’

I agree. These are not options at all.

I’m not saying don’t march. The Freedom marches have been excellent for many reasons, and I may well attend more. But these marches do not make a blind bit of difference in terms of changing the minds of the parasite class/establishment, and it is absurd, after all this time, to think that they might.

I’m with you, Deborah. I totally get how AS and the others feel but feeling defeated and hopeless is EXACTLY where they want all of us! We are ALL being worked from behind! This psychological abuse is very clever and very deep. The very dark, very dense shadow is their powerhouse to keep us all in fear, but we CAN all rise out of it if we have the courage. We have to keep going. most of this fake, an illusion, but if we give in to it, submit to it, allow ourselves to be defeated then they ‘ve really got us! It’s all up to us right now, and I know which path I’m choosing. We are making a difference and support grows every day. We all have to KEEP working together.

It also enables people to catch up with those who live in other towns than ourselves.

Debate in parliament, just as with child vaccination: Four people showing up, one of them because he thought something more urgent was supposed to be debated, all reading prewritten statements that everything is absolutely necessary and wonderfully efficiently organized and that everybody else can go fuck himself for all they care.

I mean we are – quoting the Guardian who’s absent without leave – approaching the most dangerous phase of the pandemic, or, put into other words, nothing which happened so far was actually dangerous, and there’s really no time for petty concerns of mere commoners now.

It veers off-topic, but one step closer to a police state.

Leering and catcalling now listed as prosecutable offences

British police have been given a new toolkit to fight back against an “epidemic” of misogyny and sexual harassment, with acts such as leering and wolf-whistling being included in a list of prosecutable misdemeanors…. for a list of offences, including kerb crawling, cornering, and upskirting, as well as leering and persistent staring.

This may sound naive, but what’s cornering? It’ll Soon be illegal to be white & in public with male genitalia, unless of course you’re a transwoman.

Star
Reply to  Anti_socialist

I think cornering means standing so that it’s difficult for a person to get away from you without brushing past you, pushing you out of the way, or asking you to move. If mens rea is required, then trying to intimidate the person by standing in such a position would be part of the definition.

Leering will probably be defined by having a score of more than 5 for pupil dilation when there’s a pair of tits in the vicinity. The score will depend on the person’s eye colour. Google goggles will be sold that darken lenses and thereby obscure the potential leerer’s vision as soon as their score rises above 3. A deluxe version will blur out the two bulges in the clothing and show a picture of the Archbishop of Canterbury – or the most senior male cleric in the Church of England if the AB of C is a woman.

Edit: to be serious for a moment, upskirting is very nasty and should be an offence.

I thought about commenting on that when Toby Young suggested it: (Possibly) (ten-)thousands of people writing emails to people in order to express their gratitude will end up with these people have a huge technical problem because of their overflowing inboxes. In internet lingo, something like this is called a mail bomb or – newer term – a distributed denial of service attack.

Apart from that, I wasn’t being sarcastic, just pointing out that you having the time to march in London neither means I’ll have it as well nor that this necessarily helps me (and presumably, a lot of other people).

Sorry, Deborah – but it hasn’t changed a thing. Many of us have tried in different ways.

Yes – keep trying. But face the reality.

I think she’s totally correct that public demonstrations of some sort of resistance/ noncompliance are necessary even despite politicians usually ignore them for as long as they can. But everybody who’s not wearing a mask does that, every day and without being fairly protected in a crowd of like-minded people.

I think I am going to start a petition… To resurrect the ancient Kingdom of Wessex, and whereby true Britons can live a life in peace and without being subjected to the whims of the Westminster/Big Pharma criminal cartel.

Where is King Alfred?

I’d support that. 🙂 Maybe also add Essex, Sussex and Middlesex. This would amount to partitioning Greater London into four sovereign Saxon kingdoms (west, east, south and ‘middle’ Saxons) which would greatly reduce the abilty of the London chattering classes to inflict arbitraty damage on “faraway countries we know little of” (like Berkshire or – heaven forbid – Yorkshire. That’s next to the North Pole and inhabited by savages dressing themselves in furs, right?)

NB: That’s supposed to be a joke. Yorkshire is already a distant, strange country where strange people live for the inhabitants of the town I’m living in.

All signed except the last one. Why do we need a referendum? The Government has spent 2 years terrifying the public, that’s quite enough propaganda thank you.

That’s known as reality denial.
