Big Pharma Will Make Omicron-Specific Booster Shots Even Though They’re Not Needed, Says Anthony Fauci
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House Chief Medical Adviser, has spoken of his confidence that existing vaccines will be able to effectively target the Omicron variant, and that a new booster jab created to specifically fight this new strain is not needed. However, Fauci has said that pharmaceutical companies will produce vaccines that are variant-specific regardless. RT has the story.
“I’m not so sure that we’re going to have to get a variant-specific boost vaccine to get an adequate protection from Omicron,” Fauci told the health news website STAT on Friday. “Because if you look at protection against variants, it appears to relate to the level of immunity and the breadth of the immunity that any given vaccine can instil on you.”
While some experts have expressed concerns that the Omicron variant of the Covid is better able to evade the current crop of vaccines, Fauci has continued to place his faith in these shots. So too has Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, though he has claimed that a fourth dose may be needed to combat the new strain.
“With Omicron we need to wait and see because we have very little information. We may need [the fourth dose] faster,” he told CNBC this week.
While Fauci said that an Omicron-specific booster likely won’t be needed, he did add that drug companies like Pfizer “are going to be making variant-specific boosters.”

To be really honest, I don’t see a frightened population. I see a few frightened people within the population and governments and state institutions trying to frighten the population, but I just don’t see signs of a population at large that is worried at all about this disease any more.
Consequently I also see a population not getting jabbed for medical reasons but for social reasons. And those numbers look to be dwindling with every additional shot.
It really looks like the establishment is desperately trying to establish as many new social control mechanisms as possible before the rapidly closing window of opportunity slams shut.
The numbers appear to be dwindling, so the rulers need to impose another big shock.
“Window of opportunity” is a concept of questionable utility when the rulers have the means to blow a hole in the wall, or blow the wall down.

If drug companies want to risk their investment in something that won’t be needed, that’s their call. In fact they do this all the time anyway – the great majority of development drugs never make into commercial use.
Pfizer has the Omicron booster ready to go, but they won’t make a bit of it until the US agrees to buy a billion shots or so at a premium rate. Right now, it is just as easy for Pfizer to continue producing the original formulations My guess is that the CDC is hoping to get through its backlogged supply of the current vaccine before green lighting the new variant of the shot.

Again, for people who may not have come across it – someone on twatter (I think) reposted an open letter from an aids activist that had originally been written to the Village Voice back in 1988, tearing strips off Fraudci.
