You Must Obey!
There follows a guest post by retired dentist Dr Mark Shaw.
At school I remember the best teachers. More so when I look back from the benefit of experience in judging who to trust.
There are some teachers, leaders or rulers who are prepared to give the time and the respect to answer the most seemingly dumb or obvious questions with an open mind and from the viewpoint of understanding that the individual concerned wishes to learn and hopefully, as a consequence, make the right decisions in life.
A bad educator might respond to a person lacking experience or certain knowledge with impatience and a ticking off for asking ‘such a silly question’. But in my school days I look back and remember that some of the questions young children were asking were actually brilliant.
Likewise, a bad teacher or ruler may provide an answer that is either black or white or an answer that is definitive and not open to question. Time has told us that many of the so-called facts that we once learned turn out to be wrong or not as clear-cut as we thought. So a heavy dose of humility and acceptance of human ‘expert’ ignorance is a fine thing and I guess it is why the great philosopher Socrates said “A wise person understands that he knows nothing”.
What we could do with seeing and hearing on mainstream media is that, despite our incredible achievements, we humans are merely tinkerers or dabblers in the grand scheme of things. As humans we cannot make a single human cell from the basic elements. We can use stem cells, we can clone or culture biological tissue to produce more of the same. But give scientists all the basic ingredients that make human life and ask them to make one ‘simple’ skin cell from scratch and they will be stumped. Making an organ? Never in a million years. And getting organs to function in the mind-boggling harmony that it does (in what physiologists terms ‘homeostasis’) should make all of us question our attitude that we know how to control and medicate our way to health beyond what has already been provided in the process of natural development.
This process of natural development, though fallible, always seems to win out in the broadest way in the end. We may now be able to build from scratch the most sophisticated robot that a few years ago might have seemed impossible but a human being is infinitely and more bewilderingly complicated. So we should be honest about this and tell the public, with regard to tackling an airborne virus, that there is infinitely more we don’t know than we do actually know. Any action taken that is different from the ways we used to tackle such issues have unknown consequences, some or many of which may make things worse – how much worse, we do not know. Actions that we used to take like staying at home to recover when ill and doing our best to prevent such illnesses through exercise and diet was the simple, common sense approach. Ensuring we had adequate healthcare staffing, isolation wards and surplus provision for viral outbreaks and emergencies another.
So when I listen to politicians and their expert advisors dictate and instruct in the way that has been all too familiar in the last two years it only confirms my suspicion that they may have made catastrophically bad decisions.
“There is no debate,” they seem to say. “You are to follow these lockdown measures and have this medication because it is obviously good for you and there is little or no more to discuss so don’t ask any silly questions or be in any way sceptical. And do as you are told. You really ought to be sensible and obey. I’m sorry but if you decide not to conform you will be severely punished.”
This is the way, with the benefit of some experience in observing bad teachers, I believe the current rulers and their expert advisors are acting. But then again I could be wrong.

Dr Shaw, I agree nothing seems to make sense. That is until you pre-fix in one simple sentence to your thinking.
The government are trying to kill me.
Slowly. But surely.
Reducing life expectancy is the name of the ‘game’.
Yes. So that they can lose the stats in a variety of illnesses brought on by the vaccinations – just a they are already attempting to do with the ‘Yellow Card’ death stats -the best ones are the claim of ‘coincidence’ in the sudden huge spike in sports personality deaths and the claims that often fatal myocarditis – usually unknown in the young- is ‘mild’ and nothing to worry about.
Progressive depopulation by stealth – re-population by rubber boat?
I have no idea what is going on. But I wonder about the idea that killing the compiant is part of the plan. They are then left with the rest of us. That’s the part I don’t get.
For what it’s worth (and of course I might be wrong) but I don’t believe the objective is to kill all of us, I think we’re being terrorised, dehumanised and divided. This involves some killing yes, arguably almost all of the so-called covid deaths have been unnecessary given that effective early treatments have been banned and discredited. Any and all deaths due to medical negligence because of inhuman illogical protocols were also deliberate and avoidable. And the vaccines have caused and will continue to cause thousands of deaths; the ruling class know full well this is the case. But I think all of this has economics at its heart; namely I think the economies of the west are collapsing before our eyes and the whole pandemic narrative is designed to distract us from that and demoralise us and turn us against each other so that we are incapable of even identifying the problem let alone calling to account those responsible. The entire population is focused on one ginormous red herring while the criminals who stole our wealth frantically try to install technocracy and cbdcs as a solution to out of control inflation that they know will eventually sink the economy.… Read more »
My prediction from before this shambles started was that, after a decade of kicking the can down the road after the financial crisis, this would be the decade when they ran out of road. We should expect fireworks (though not at those cancelled new years parties obviously!).
The mass murder of the compliant is certainly a huge hole in the depopulation interpretation (see my other comment)
How many people might be expected to die anyway, under the theory that the spike in deaths of healthy sportsmen is the canary in the coalmine?
So many unknowns; I’ve now heard credible doctors and scientists convincingly outline:
Amongst others, as potential ways the vaccines can harm and/or kill.
i suppose that given millions of people are now being injected with a third dose when, according to research I’ve heard Peter McCullogh talk about, the spike protein stays in people’s systems for up to 15 months, we may now see people dying in large numbers. As to whether it’ll be possible to blame these deaths on omicron… time will tell. We appear to be living in the sum of every horror movie ever made. Intend to watch from behind sofa!
Sadly I have to agree.
Has Peter McCullogh given us a time scale for the spike protein production in our cells ? That is actually good news of a kind if people can avoid more ‘vaccines’.- but what damage will have been done by then?
Obviously, the more jabs the more damage to the immune system and the danger of contracting other illnesses and the lower the chance of recovery . They insanely plan at least half a dozen jabs a year – for life ( however long that will last!)
Will the sheep just keep taking it till they drop? Will they ever snap out of their mass hypnosis?
It is the incidence of capillary and other organ inflammation that concerns me as much as anything else. Clotting is not going to affect everyone but how does one tell until either a thrombotic event happens – too late then perhaps – or a wild virus fires up the immune system in a very malevolent way – again too late.
As an anaphylaxis sufferer the statements on jab packaging that it is only people who are allergic to the contents of the jab that need to steer clear of it*, are 100% wrong; just check out the VAERS report cases of Anaphylaxis, over 7,000 last time I had the info.
AFAIK, jabs have never been tested on people with severe anaphylaxis – may be a simplistic question but as the entire contents of these jabs remain undisclosed – so how on this earth can a statement like this* can be made – a downright lie.
Reducing life expectancy and controlling health through permanent lucrative vaccinations where you can decide when to turn off the ‘life support’ achieves the same goal by stealth – especially if your vaccines also massively reduce fertility.
They have given themselves until 2030 under the ‘Great Reset’ (Schwab’s book) before Technocratic and Digital control of our lives is fully achieved and fully chipped humanoids appear.
The programmed financial crisis and the end of fiat money -replaced by a digital system will be rolled out in 2026 – if sufficient wealth has been transferred from the ruined Middle Classes to the billionaire elites by then through lockdown destruction and rising inflation .”You will own nothing and be happy” (Klaus Schwab)
It would all sound crazy – if it were not in his book and if so many of our ‘leaders’ had no been schooled by him at Davos by te WEF as ‘young leaders’
The “Chinese Social model” is the one they aspire to – total control of everything and everyone left is the goal.
I couldn’t agree more. That is my interpretation. It’s not as if this has not been admitted to – Schwab’s book on the Reset. Charlie Windsor echoing with “window of opportunity.”
And every man and his dog with a position of influence likes to chant “build back better.”
The oft used phrase ‘hiding in plain sight’ says it all but in this case rubbing all our faces in their humanity destroying plans seems to provide the psychopaths with some perverse pleasure.
They’re also trying to kill your children.
Good governments should be boring. We shouldn’t even notice they exist, while our lives get incrementally better. If they’re making our lives worse though, they need to create distractions.
I wrote to my MP stating just that during the first lockdown.
His reply, “I disagree”. Signed Ian Blackford, MP.
You are truly unfortunate if you have that blowhard as your MP.
Ian Blackford also town as The Lard of the Isles…
Never knowingly turns his nose up at a pie.
Many of the people advising government have no medical qualification. Even the ones with medically sounding titles are usually just ‘experts’ in collecting statistics about health phenomenons. Their idea of the population is obviously that of a herd of notoriously unruly cattle who have to be driven towards following their own intelligent designs (pun intended) which all more-or-less just copy the ‘intelligent’ Chinese design.
Remember when Chris Whitty spoke about unecessary social interactions he desired to prevent. A synonym for unecessary social interactions could be lifes of other people.
I’ve been knocking around long enough to recognise bullshit when I smell it, and right now my nose is under full frontal assault..
It seems you have lost your sense of smell. 🙂
Young children often ask the best questions. Their enquiring minds not yet dulled by the education system. The above article and cartoon reminded me of a poem I wrote about how I, as a grandparent, would respond to my grandchildren’s questions about what happened during the early 2020s. I’m Sorry One day when I am old, And my grandkids come to me, They’ll ask a poignant question When did the world stop being free? ‘Nan, what were you doing, When the world was closing down? Gramps, did you stay silent, When they shut the shops in town?’ ‘Did you really clap on doorsteps, And for the NHS you cheered? Did you give up Sunday worship, While our freedom disappeared?’ ‘Were you busy watching Netflix, While furlough drained the purse? Did you order endless take-aways, And the ignore the lockdown’s curse?’ ‘Did you ever see a future, Like the one that we are in, When freedom for the masses, Is a memory, growing dim?’ ‘Nan, were you complicit? It’s a question I must ask. Did you speak up or were silenced ? Were you muted by the masks?’ I will tell them of the struggle, To find truth where others lied,… Read more »
Very poignant
A wonderful poem. Thank you.
Thank you
Brilliant poem. You should contact Toby and get him to publish it at the front.
I’ve done that, he seemed to like it, so keep an eye out, as he may publish it. Thanks for the thought, I haven’t sent one above the line for a while.
Teachers = Indoctrinators.
Sure you can teach maths, Grammar, physics things with rigid rules. However, this article doesn’t deal with these realities. It’ dabbles in a moral-philosophical malaise, where there is no fixed answer, it’s like saying there is no right or wrong just perspective. My philosophical perspective, is I fucking hate & despise socialist authoritarianism & that my good doctor is what is taking over.
It’s just politics & your side is loosing & you’re to stupid to see it, so yeah it is evolution & your era of domination is going extinct.
Just been looking at the comments section in the Guardian under Devi Sridhar’s article – the tide is turning, more sceptic comments than supporters.
I thought I’d copy one comment so we can all have a good laugh:
The comments are depressing. I like to contribute to the discussions but really wonder whether we shouldn’t now call time on discussions related to covid here. No minds are changed (the sensible aren’t going to become stupid and the stupid are incapable of reason). I’ve noticed a recent trend where covidiots have learnt to sound reasonable, rather than rant, and spread rubbish that some might buy into – not content with endangering others with their direct behaviour they try and recruit more deniers to prolong the pandemic.
Lol
Don’t recall them wanting to end the discussions when they were in the majority. Funny that…
It’s a totally mindboggling level of arrogance!
Only what is to be expected though, as any of us who have tried to debate with Covidians (especially those at the extreme bed-wetter end of the Covidian spectrum) will have found!
Yes, I think this person may still be in nappies …
Face nappies.
I was thinking about sharing that article here this morning under the topic of ‘know your enemy’.
But it was so empty and devoid of any original thought that I refrained from it.
She had zero new ideas or solutions, not even radical ones. A bit more mask wearing, boosting and child vaxxing, that’s it.
I really think she and they are at their wits end and in full on despair mood.
Which explains the nonsense they spout and their aggressiveness.
Yeah but it’s ALWAYS the kids!
It’s time to kill the kids – C J Hopkins
“If you tolerate this, them your children will be next” – Manic Street Preachers
I keep hearing that song in my head every day now 🙁
When the article starts off “New measures to tackle Omicron are weeks late – while the UK is lagging on vaccinating children and a balanced approach to travel” you know the author is clueless.
Clueless is a remarkably kind interpretation.
Was that the Devil responding to her own article!?
Johnson is in Ceaucescu territory right now and like the Ceaucescu regime, the Johnson regime would be most welcome right now.
Johnson is a career politician surrounded by university indoctrinated liberals manipulating him like a puppet, none of them would know a principle if it stung them in the plums. Follow the money, same as it ever was.
And Boxing Day is coming.
This is why freedom of speech is vitally important to a well functioning society. Limiting speech is the canary in the mine. When that step is taken, BEWARE! The ending is never good.
Looks like another tick next to another prediction from the conspiracy theorists:

We have gone down the road to genocide and I fear there in no turning back In March 2020 Britain became a series of dictatorships What followed has been classic and previously well trodden steps on the road to genocide March 2020 to Summer 2021 The dictators removed freedoms and ruled by diktat. Petrified by behavioural psychologists and propagandist the general population went along with tyranny in a misplaced hope of salvation The rules were largely the same for everyone and by Spring 2021 there was a sense of exhaustion. However the freedom that was promised had arrived Summer 2012 Whilst talking of irreversible freedom days the dictators were cynically planning their winter campaigns. This time the narrative would change to restrictions to prevent vaccine passports and vaccine passports to prevent lockdowns. Work hard do as you are told, take your medicine and you will be fine In this plan the seeds of genocide were sown Winter 2021 to Spring 2022 The restrictions have failed (as they knew they would) The vaccine passports will soon fail (as they know they will) The general population have been brainwashed into thinking of the unvaccinated as ‘selfish’ ‘not team players’ etc When the… Read more »
Seems a fair summary of the direction of travel – if only we had a Political Opposition.
But then Starmer is a Globalist “friend of Blair” who is a friend of Soros, Schwab and Gates – like Davos Clone Crazy Jocinda in New Zealand .
We seem to depend on 50 or so decent Tory Backbenchers and just a few Labourites with a conscience – overwhelmed by over 500 of the sellout Globalist Traitors to Democracy. The Courts? No chance.
The ‘Good Guys’ don’t stand a chance of stopping this madness.
The infrastructure was all put in place by Blair of course – a Globalist shill since his 1997 New York meeting with Soros .
PJW on the money as ever ….

I think, I get it now.
That’s something to few people realize when being dazzled with percentages: Is 95% effective at … means doesn’t work in at least 5 out of 100 cases, or, as this still sounds like a lot, doesn’t work in 1 out of 20 cases.
Not such a medical miracle anymore.
….. and so as Tiny Tim observed. ‘They going to murder us, Every One’
Yes, another manipulation by the elite against serfs, same as \9and maybe a continuation of) the Malthusianism to which Dickens alluded in this work.
See Schwab’s “Fourth Industrial Revolution” – the plebs really are just expendable when they have no ‘economic valuable’.
The CIA once did a survey which found that 67% of people would obey instructions from the authorities which went against their core beliefs. This survey found that only 33% of people would refuse to carry out an act which went against their conscience or conflicted with their ethical beliefs. The Milgram Electric Shock Experiment further proved the results of the CIA survey. In Milgram’s original experiment, 65% of participants proved themselves very willing to carry out orders which clearly caused pain and trauma to another person. And in one variation of this experiment, the people who would obey highly unethical commands went up to over 90%. The results of the CIA survey and the Milgram Experiment perhaps show why so many doctors, nurses and health professionals go against their inherent ethical standards and follow orders to dispense and promote the experimental gene serums. The findings of the Milgram Experiment displays what a very fragile and fine construction democracy actually is. At any given time at least 65% of any given democracy’s population are ready to dispense with their morality and follow illicit orders, just because these orders come from an authority figure. Think of it,… Read more »
The CIA – those nice people who popularised the term “conspiracy theorist”.
More interesting is what motivates people like the (original) White Rose movement.
Incidentally, Michael Portillo just repeated on GB News the lie that you are 30 times more likely to die if you are “unvaccinated”. Maybe we could have an experiment to discover why such distortions of the truth get endlessly repeated?
Was he challenged on that lie?
The answer is no.
Dan Wooton is anti “vaccine” mandate but pro “vaccine”.
Be nice if journalists could question more, whatever their personal opinions, though to be fair Dan has questioned some aspects.
We live in MK Ultra world.
Indeed, logically, he could be wrong.
But he isn’t.
Hanlon’s (or Heinlein’s) Razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. …. (I’d replace “never” with “avoid”.)
In the present intellectual environment, many are saying stupidity is logically a disguise for malice. That anyone who doesn’t see malice is stupid.
My inclination is to radically disagree, but there is also another quotation — Kipling: “To stand and be still to the Birkenhead drill is a damn tough bullet to chew.”
So … I’ll just mention the ‘Daisy’ commercial from the 1964 U.S. Presidential Campaign. We’ll see who has the spine to look it up, and to get the full context for its use (including who and what, exactly, was Barry Goldwater.)
——
There is a third, too: George Santayana (in the later version) “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.”
Just had drinks with a high level civil servant. Not sure I learnt anything new really but apparently there is only one thing that they focus on and that is preventing the NHS from being ‘overwhelmed’. Makes me wonder whether if we had German quality health care we would be more liberal, or they’d find something else to justify their b/s. They seem to believe the ‘anti vax nutters are filling up the hospital’ meme. I guess even ministers watch Jeremy Vine. He also confirmed that number 10 staff do have the attitude that if they are working 80 hour weeks to ‘save the country’ they are entitled to a little bit of ‘wine and cheese’.
The Germans haven’t had a more liberal response, so the answer is ‘no’ to that question. I would be surprised if every senior civil servant hasn’t been instructed to toe the line and promote the propaganda in every social situation. I don’t trust any of them – about anything. They have lied and lied.
NHS England chief executive Sir Simon Stevens has launched a blistering attack on people who post videos of ‘empty’ hospitals online claiming they show the NHS is not under pressure from covid. There were many instances back over the year where people video taped empty hospitals – care facilities that were reported in the MSM as being run off their feet. Then there’s the huge amount of midazolam the Government purchased very early in the plandemic, if not even before it began. Prior to the plandemic, midazolam was authorised to be used only in a clinical setting, where life support systems were readily at hand. This was because midazolam is a very heavy-duty sedative which, among other things, suppresses breathing. Some states in the US use it in executions. It’s really looks like that before the plandemic the Government had purchased a large amount of midazolam and authorised its use in non-clinic settings such as nursing and care homes. There was a few reports about this earlier in the year, but they suddenly stopped. One journalist claimed there was a paper trail proving the purchase of an inordinate amount of midazolam by the British Government. If… Read more »
Thank you very much for that. The question for me now is to find out exactly what’s the internal status of the sacred cow, the National Homage Seeker. I live in a suburb of a US “flyover county” metroplex — between-rather large and damned-huge. In August, I had an annual checkup with my MD, whose offices are in a major hospital complex. Chatting with her staff, and with one of the hospital’s surgical staff in a corridor afterwards, the mood I picked up on was that they too thought the Chicken Little reaction was bull. The hospital (itself part of America’s largest chain) has put movement-restriction measures into place which the internal staff say are half-baked and irrational. Hanlon’s seems to suggest that immediate profit motive is behind it. The more covid the hospital corporations can detect, the more money they get from the US gov’t. There’s no overcrowding. Some folks are putting off treatments because the panic-demic has frightened them. Our local “news” media is of a tabloid mindset, every one with a LATEST COVID NEWS link front and center on the website. (I began watching the press in the mid-80s, and have known a few Old Guard journalists.… Read more »
Germany has good GPs and patients can self-refer to specialists. if they UK fired a third of its GPs and jailed 10%, we’d be in a much better position
The future: “A boot stamping on the human face …forever.’ ( Orwell:1984)
“So when I listen to politicians and their expert advisors dictate and instruct in the way that has been all too familiar in the last two years it only confirms my suspicion that they may have made catastrophically bad decisions.”
They have made catastrophically (for us) good (for them) decisions – their Big Lie has succeeded in giving them more power and money than they could have imagined or hoped for.
“But then again I could be wrong” – that is the most brilliant way to end the article!
