New York State Declares a Public Emergency Due to The Omicron Variant
The Governor of New York state, Kathy Hochul (pictured), has signed an executive order declaring a state of emergency, which won’t be lifted until at least January 15th. Fears over the new Omicron variant have persuaded the Governor to act, with Hochul tweeting that: “While the new Omicron variant has yet to be detected in New York state, it’s coming.” The Independent has more.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed an executive order on Friday lasting until at least January 15th that branded the state’s rates of Covid-transmission as a disaster requiring urgent aid to local governments.
The Omicron variant has alarmed health officials since its discovery in Botswana earlier this month, spreading rapidly through South Africa and into Europe and Asia.
Scientists fear it could become a so-called ‘escape variant’ that is resistant to current Covid vaccines, and the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified it as a ‘variant of concern’.
President Joe Biden has imposed new travel restrictions on Botswana, South Africa and six other sub-Saharan African countries, also urging Americans to get their vaccines and booster shots. As of Friday, the variant has not been spotted in the U.S.
Hochul said: “We continue to see warning signs of spikes in Covid this winter, and while the new Omicron variant has yet to be detected in New York state, it’s coming.
“Today I signed an executive order to help boost hospital capacity ahead of potential spikes. Through this action, we will also be able to acquire critical supplies more quickly to combat the pandemic.
“I urge New Yorkers to take advantage of our greatest weapon in the pandemic: the vaccine. Get vaccinated and get the booster as soon as you are able.”

(I’m assuming yes, strikes me as obvious) Current analyses obviously now focus on vaxx v unvaxxed in terms of hospital admission/ICU, but are there current analyses of whether the same number of people are still ending up in hospital/ICU per x number of positive cases, taking no account of vaxx status? Just curious, because if the same number of people relative to cases are still ending up in hospital, doesn’t that mean the vaxx makes no difference? That the number of vaxxed or unvaxxed is coincidental to exposure to the virus at a given time? Also, if the total numbers of admissions relative to cases are lower compared to previous waves, that that might be in part accounted for because of greater natural immunity overall from the past 2 years and that a great number of those most likely to succumb have already done so. The hospitalisation data are rather ‘noisy’ — that is, there are lots of things mixed up in them and it is difficult to identify covid as a specific cause.
Of course, the press are very happy to identify specific cases of people getting ill ‘that look healthy’, but picking out examples is always more likely to misinform than inform.
But, of course, the dirty data is a thread that runs right through the sustaining of the myth.
Yes, your question is kinda dumb, as they can always explain any difference away by pointing to the fact that the virus keeps mutating, so today’s cases (with vaccines) are not comparable to yesterday’s cases (without vaccines). Of course, this argument goes both ways (the virus could mutate into a milder version), but the point is that with two interacting factors that you cannot control for, you will never know which is contributing how much.
Which is the intention.
The injections are the “silent weapon” designed to kill progressively between now and 2030 – cancers and heart diseases primarily.
And mental disorders including suicides.

The stock market needs a reset. Remember that you can make money in both directions, but only a few people are informed a priori when the direction is changed. It’s a perfect redistribution system from everybody else to the controllers – all while making an impression that everybody is winning along (during the pump phases). Almost like bitcoin, just several trillions larger.

It’s true that daily Bitcoin trading volume is smaller than daily trading volume at the New York stock exchange, but not as much as by an order of magnitude. Bitcoin will play a role in the next generalised crash, surely.
The way Bitcoin has been advertised to mugs is reminiscent of stories about the leadup to the 1929 crash. I spoke with a small business owner recently who was ranting on about “fiat” money. He didn’t realise that Bitcoin is about as “fiat” as it’s possible to get (as has rightly been pointed out by the NY Fed and in the Economist).
Good logic, there is doubt (at least in my mind) that wealth redistribution from the poorest to the richest is at the heart of this.

And yet I was reading earlier that the symptoms of this variant is tiredness and a raised heart rate, which passes of in a couple of days. No loss of taste/smell, runny nose, cough etc. Sounds a doozie and if this would give me covid antibodies, sounds like one to catch. What we see is a desperate need for constitutional protection against warped claims of ‘EMERGENCY!’ being used to promote totalitarian measures. I know it’s too late now – at this point with regard to the shit show – but the new criminal class seems not to have to provide real evidence that can be tested in order to claim black is white.
