600 Google Employees Sign Manifesto to Overturn the Company’s Vaccine Mandate

Google, which employs approximately 150,000 people in the U.S., has mandated that all workers who interact with Government contractors be fully vaccinated, even if they work from home, with all other employees ordered to report their vaccination status. However, the new measure has encountered opposition within the company itself as roughly 600 members of staff have signed a manifesto demanding that Google “be inclusive to all Googlers” and overturn this policy, while calling on fellow employees to “oppose the mandate as a matter of principle”. MailOnline has the story.

The tech giant is requiring its more than 150,000 U.S. employees to report their vaccination statuses and all employees who work directly or indirectly with Government contracts to be vaccinated, whether they plan to work in the office or not.

The manifesto, which has been signed by at least 600, or less than 0.5% of all Google employees, asks company executives to abandon the policy to create a mandate “inclusive of all Googlers”, CNBC first reported.

It urges workers to “oppose the mandate as a matter of principle” and encourages them not to allow the mandate to influence their decision to be inoculated.

Google had set a November 12th deadline for employees to request vaccine exemptions, and employees will be required to work in the office three days a week starting January 10th.

This comes after President Joe Biden announced that all U.S. companies with 100 or more employees must require their staff to be fully vaccinated or regularly tested for Covid by January 4th, 2022.

The authors sent the open letter, with the subhead “Respect the User”, to Google’s Chief Health Officer Karen DeSalvo, the document states.

“I believe that [CEO] Sundar’s Vaccine Mandate is deeply flawed,” the manifesto says, describing executives’ leadership as “coercive” and “the antithesis of inclusion”.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the company’s requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated to return in-person in a blog post in July. “Getting vaccinated is one of the most important ways to keep ourselves and our communities healthy in the months ahead,” Pichai wrote at the time.

The manifesto insists that the policy “publicly and possibly embarrassingly exposes” employees’ private choices.

That causes me some internal conflict to, on the one hand I empathize with them over vaccine mandates, on the other hand as they chose to work for Google they’re no better than camp guards IMO, if they truly had any principles they’d resign from Google.

For sure Scotty…

And why not start discovering an alternate route to valuable information…?

Google has been manipulating its search results for years especially on controversial topics such as elections, contentious policy and COVID facts.

This becomes quite evident when comparing Google’s search results to say its competitor search engines, such as DuckDuckGo and MetaGer.

Try the alternatives and see?

https://metager.org/
https://duckduckgo.com/

And yes Google from the beginning has had a nefarious agenda…

I wonder if the founders of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, YouTube, etc. always held these woke views …. Or, as they got bigger and more powerful, they learned that it pays to “play ball” with the government and the oligarchs. “Playing ball” provides protection and also helps eliminate the threat of competition which would take away their market share.

I have noted that Twitter seemed like a great “free speech” forum in its early years. However, its share price never went up. Then it takes an obvious turn toward enforcing the Establishment’s narrative and suddenly the stock price soars.

Why can’t religious employers now enquire as to the abortion medical history of their potential employees?

Because the religious, in general, are on the losing side in the war that is currently being waged globally.

I doubt if they will have much support from their fellow workers.
Within such a wide ranging company, enjoying near monopoly in many sectors, aggrieved workers have nowhere else to go. Their competitors are not other firms but their own colleagues.

Perhaps they might join an ecofriedly, sustainable, startup cooperative.

Where are IBM in all this? That company was kickstarted in the 1930s tasked to harvest and processing vast amounts of data on people for the new Nazi regime in Germany.
Using a revolutionary system of automatic card punching machines that could categorise their enemies into a dozen or more classifications.

Left wing > punch○
Communist > punch○
Jewish > punch○
Anti regime sentiments > punch ○
Gypsy > punch ○
Homosexual > punch○
Itinerant > punch ○
Upset a Senior Party Member > punch .○
Suspect Party Member > punch ○
Physically Retarded > punch ○
Mentally Deficient > punch ○
Family of any of the above > punch ○

Using any combination of the above data would effortlessly allow an operative to decide which route to send each victim and keep permanent records of who went where and when. Some of that information no doubt ending up with prosecutors at Nuremberg.

“How many homosexual Jewish Communists we got Herman?”
mere moments later
“15 Today Hans”
“Ok, they’re for that truck over there”
“Two of them are itinerant also Hans”
“Is ok, send them anyway”

Google, of course has already purged the non-pc leftists from its ranks.

Even so, a mere 600 out of 150,000 opposing the clear evil of coerced “medical” treatment for a spurious health “emergency” is a pretty stark indication of where Google’s employee base broadly stands.

The tech giant is requiring its more than 150,000 U.S. employees to report their vaccination statuses and all employees who work directly or indirectly with government contracts to be vaccinated, whether they plan to work in the office or not. “

This appears to be aimed at having supposed state coercion as a fall-back excuse, to allow the decision-makers to claim their actions were forced by US regime policies.

Well it’s certainly a risk, and of course I cannot foretell the future. They don’t seem overly good for people, but no evidence so far that it’s going to kill a societally significant number of people. But I won’t be getting jabbed any time soon.

Well that’s a good question. I don’t think it will be a high enough number for it to be noticed. I certainly hope that’s the case. But as you say, we simply don’t know what the long term effects are nor what repeated doses will do.

Official records show over 50,000 dead in the US, UK and the EU. Thats probably 500,000 when considering the considerable level of under reporting and cause of death misattribution – and its not even been going a year yet..

Per a story at the DS, deaths from all causes for those aged 15 to 19 are up about 45 percent YoY since teenagers started getting jabbed. I’m reading stories (and seeing interviews with undertakers) that the number of still born children has increased dramatically.

I’m hearing all kind of stories about fairly young people dying of different causes (non-COVID). Hospitals are “overflowing” with Covid and non-Covid patients.

In short, it’s possible the number of deaths might be significant and too noticeable for even the mainstream press to ignore.

Extremes probably won’t happen. Death rate will go up somewhat. As a species, we can live with a much higher death rate, as we did for much of recorded history.

Sickness and invalid rates will go up, and that will cost surviving workers more.

Environmentalists will welcome the thinning of the human species…

“Dear Scumbags, THIS is what you are being distracted from today.” So just let me get this straight. Toby Young is using an outlet he set up and runs to distract from amendments to a Bill that another of the outfits he set up and runs called “horrific” in toto: “Policing speechProfessor Andrew Tettenborn, a member of the FSU’s Legal Advisory Council, argues that the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, which passed its second reading this week, will not only give “police worryingly unlimited power to suppress public protests” but could also “criminalise almost any public speech online, in posters or for that matter in newspapers, if enough people are prepared to complain about it”. The implications of this are so horrific, he says, that any progress on free speech made by groups such as the FSU could be rolled back all at once by “this catch-all provision apt to catch any speech where a pressure group can whip up enough of its supporters to say they are seriously distressed by it”.” https://freespeechunion.org/weekly-news-round-up-4/ Gosh, these evil closet totalitarians pretending to be liberty campaigners are so devious! I don’t know how you conspiracy theorists manage to keep up with them so well, but… Read more »

Our healthcare system is about to experience a tsunami! Potential side effects of jabs include chronic inflammation, because the vaccine continuously stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. Other concerns include the possible integration of plasmid DNA into the body’s host genome, resulting in mutations, problems with DNA replication, triggering of autoimmune responses, and activation of cancer-causing genes. Alternative COVID cures EXIST. Ivermectin is one of them. While Ivermectin is very effective curing COVID symptoms, it has also been shown to eliminate certain cancers. Do not get the poison jab. Get your Ivermectin today while you still can! https://ivmpharmacy.com

I know to work for Google you need to prove very high levels of intelligence although have learned in the last two years that intelligence does not equal ability to detect BS.
