Cinema & Co., the Welsh cinema that was shut down for 28 days yesterday after refusing to comply with the Welsh Government’s rules on vaccine passports, has raised over £45,000 via a crowdfunder.

Why do you say that? Wirral Gym was targeted in Autumn 2020 by armed police who shut it down and handed out FPNs of astonishing amounts. The public responded to help them.

After over 18 months you would think there would be plenty of press coverage of people contracting Covid in a cinema, but I am blowed if I can find any. Plenty of dire predictions and calculations of potential harm, but nothing that appoximated to a bona fide infection.

I live in a city in the USA that has barred the unjabbed from bars, restaurants etc. Every week I donate the $$ I would normally have spent eating out to entities (of various kinds) that are fighting this crap.

I really don’t understand what the donations are needed for? All that money just to hand over to Swansea Council? Why pay any fine at all?

Hopefully she can have the means to take the Council to court and get it repaid like all those others who had their convictions quashed in the past 20 months.
