German Leaders to Debate Imposing National Restrictions On The Unvaccinated

On Thursday, German officials are set to debate whether to tighten Covid restrictions after Germany recorded an infection peak on Saturday. One of the measures to be discussed involves banning the unvaccinated from venues such as restaurants, bars and entertainment venues, with Chancellor Angela Merkel urging members of the public to get jabbed if they haven’t already. The Telegraph has the story.

These rules have been adopted in some states, but as yet have not been enforced nationwide.

Horst Seehofer, the Interior Minister, on Saturday morning said it was the time to put in place nationally uniform Covid rules.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel called upon the country’s unvaccinated to reconsider, hinting that the Government would tighten measures across the country.

“Difficult weeks lie ahead of us, and you can see that I am very worried,” Merkel warned in her weekly video podcast.

“I urgently ask everyone who has not yet been vaccinated: please reconsider.”

She added: “It has always helped us when states and the Federal Government worked together and committed to uniform rules.”

Germany’s nationwide seven-day Covid incidence rate climbed to 277.4 per 100,000 people on Saturday, the highest on record. The previous mark was 197.6, recorded in December 2020.

Seehofer, said on Saturday that politicians needed to “demonstrate the art of governance” when meeting on Thursday by making one set of rules for the entire country to stop confusing people with changing rules.

“I very much hope that there will be a nationwide regulation next week. We must no longer confuse the population,” he told the Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper.

“Vaccination centres open, vaccination centres closed, continued payment of wages in (for people forced to) quarantine yes, then no again, testing free of charge, testing subject to charge.

“In terms of party politics, there is nothing for anyone to gain, but a lot for everyone to lose. There can be no fundamental opposition in such a difficult situation.”

The situation is particularly precarious in the southern states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg and the country’s former east, where ICU capacity is below 10%.

What does Angela Merkel know about how to protect an immune system? Seriously.

But wait…there can be “no fundamental opposition”. Really? Then who is she threatening?

Continued discrimination of the not gene therapied and renewed testing mandate for all the gene therapied or ‘recently PCR positive tested’ or 2G plus is what they now discuss and want to do.
They c/should just as well stop discriminating against the not gene therapied and just test them too (like Bautzen now plans to do, called 1G or 3Gplus there), but that, medically halfway justified, approach is not discriminatory and would as such not ever enter their thoughts, risk lower ing the gunk uptake even further and expose the different travel and quarantine requirements as being the absurd chicanery they are.

Yes indeed – requiring only a test, both from spikees and from resisters, wouldn’t encourage spiking.
They don’t care whether a spikee transmits or not, so long as he or she is a spikee.

The telling part of the story is that the hospitalization is 1/3 of the top last year and clinics are already on the brink “collapsing” (according to MSM). Because all the medical staff are “exhausted” (by what? overlong summer vacations?)

The reality is that the hospitals fired staff and removed beds in hope of getting another “money booster” come winter. And this is very likely going to happen as planned, the “moral hazard” strategy in which the villains are doubly rewarded will once again pay off.

All cardio. No reference at all to vaccines being the cause. Just: people who didn’t see the doctor in a while and are now all of a sudden incredibly sick.

The Banned. “Banned” is a useful term because it recalls South Africa where many opponents of white supremacism were told they were not allowed to meet more than one other person at a time. This was called being “banned”. So if for example you held a party, you had to make sure you stayed in a room on your own, into which people could come to see you one by one. Vary from this practice and you had to be damned sure there weren’t any secret police present or those who might inform on you to the secret police. Cf. Austria from Monday, and perhaps within a few more days Germany too.

Nobody has any idea about the long-term effects of being jabbed with any of the experimental gunks.

When the jabs were launched, they didn’t even know that “boosters” would be required every few months

(Unless, of course, they did, but didn’t tell us.

And perhaps cash-flow desires meant that the jabs were designed to require regular repurchases)

One of the great values of the Pandemia era is that is shows how very low IQ individuals are often the most successful in politics. Merkel wants people to run out and get injected. Why? So in five weeks or so they may, if not dead or injured, have some limited protection against getting a symptomatic case of an illness that for the vast majority of people is a nothing burger anyway (and those at risk are already old ill and dying anyway). And … in the two or three weeks between injections, the likelihood of becoming ill from the virus increases (per the trial data) … so get injected so Germany can drive the winter epidemic higher? As I said, low IQ individuals, all. Some enterprising political science student will need to do a study on how politics and policy attracts the most stupid in society, and why the electorate supports their election to office.

I think that powers that be have gone themselves into a frenzied cycle of control freakery over this tin pot virus. They have convinced the people that is can be controlled, when it can’t and so they whirl into a frenzy of pointless and evil actions to do what cannot be done. They ascribe magic powers to the vaccines when all they can, possibly, do is reduce serious covid symptoms. Any rational look at the evidence says that vaccine passports and vaccine mandates are practically pointless. The virus is now of almost insignificant effect for most people but this has got so out of hand they rush round like a mad dog chasing its tail throwing our ridiculous, nasty and sinister actions.
Is there no way to stop this descent into evil madness?

The need to control doesn’t explain the outrageous exclusion and blatant discrimination of people because they are unvaxxed, any fool knows that in a country with 85% vaxxed this will achieve nothing. The fact that NL can’t enforce its discrimination yet because it has to get the legislation in place says enough. If such measures were normal, they would already have this legislation. It is merely gearing people up to get used to discriminating against whole groups of people. The next step is to exclude people from medical care on the basis of age – from a purely logical point of view this makes more sense than anything else, the health care system is overwhelmed due to care of the elderly. One of the coalition partners has as part of its manifesto the desire to put in place the “completed life” concept. I don’t know the precise details, but I believe it is predicated on the idea that people over 75 should be allowed (encouraged?) to bump themselves off if they no longer feel of use. When I say it makes sense, this is not saying I support it in any way. Health care is there for all, end of… Read more »

Thanks to COVID-19 the grannies will die off, with or without our protection, rather sooner than later. If they wanted to get rid of the grannies, they would not make such a fuss about vaccinating them and keeping beds free.

JaneDoeNL
JaneDoeNL

Reply to  rayc

But that’s not actually true. The fatality rate is significantly higher for those over 70 and particularly over 80, but it is by no means 100%, even though a lot of people in that age group have been led to believe so. I believe the CDC put it at 94.6%, which means the very vast majority of elderly people get this virus and get over it. And the government doesn’t say the elderly are blocking the beds, the numbers say that. The government is trying to spin it that young unvaxxed are blocking the beds. There was just a news clip on asking what options were there if corona doesn’t go away. 1) lockdowns every winter 2) selective health care. The clip didn’t mention age as such, just that things like elective surgery would be scaled down, then acute care, etc. But it speaks for itself that would also be based on a triage system of who needs care most AND will benefit from that care most (i.e. longest). With a coalition partner openly advocating people should be able to off themselves with government assistance at the age of 75, why would you believe they will do everything in their… Read more »

You can’t have it both ways Jane, either the virus is sufficiently dangerous to make grannies block the beds, or it is largely harmless to them.

The beds are being kept free for the grannies. Young people do not need hospitals (with very few exceptions).

Grannies are voters, too – in an aging population a very important voter group indeed. That’s why they are being kept “protected” no matter what expense it incurs on the younger population, and all the panic is being sold to and through them, primarily.

Being able to undergo euthanasia (at any age) in a dignified way is of course a sign of freedom, and quite different from being forced or even encouraged to do so.

Anti_socialist

You can’t have it both ways

That’s right,

  1. The vaccine works, so the vaccinated having nothing to fear from the unvaccinated.
  2. The vaccine doesn’t, so any discrimination is illogical.

Facts

  1. SARS CoV2, is a viral infection causing Covid-19 disease, which has a 99.7% survival rate.
  2. The demographic most likely to contract severe Covid-19 are the elderly, infirm & immunosuppressed with co-morbidities.
  3. The majority of people infected by SARS CoV2 will only have mild or no symptoms.
  4. You only need to protect vulnerable groups. i.e. vaccinate the elderly & vulnerable with a vaccine that works.

The logical course of action is to allow medics to do the medicine & politicians stay the fuck out of it!

The “completed life” thing is not euthanasia, which to the best of my knowledge is available here at any age, but requires physical/mental suffering and terminal illness (there may be some exception to the latter, not sure). D66 is saying if people are bored of life, the government will help them out. Nope, if you’re that bored of life and able-bodied, find your own way out. This is not euthanasia and it is not dignified, it is suggestive and open to abuse, particularly by basing it on age. There are 20-year olds who do not want to go, no offers to help them top themselves (and rightly so). Is corona significantly more dangerous to the elderly than a bad flu virus? I believe the death rate from pneumonia is the same for people over 80, regardless of which virus or bacteria caused it. I suspect the number of elderly in hospital now is not that far off from the number that would usually be in hospital with pneumonia or other respiratory ailments this time of year. The real problem now is the structural understaffing of health care. There are some 1600 people in hospital with corona in NL, in a… Read more »

I despise Merkel, have done for years. I have never understood the ridiculous fascination with her so-called political skills. These seem to primarily consist of her standing around with the look of a regugitating cow on her face, which somehow was interpreted as a poker face and being in deep thought. In any event, she either has serious business sense or someone pulling her strings does. One half of PfizerBiontech is German, they are just about the only vaxx left standing for now. Rake it in Angie, rake it in. Very subtle, let the Scandinavian countries get rid of Murderna first, then follow suit. Just like since last January she has let NL take the first steps on the road to nazi-dom, to then enforce the exact same nazi rules the next day, pointing out that Germany’s liberal little brother had just taken these measures, so it had to be all right. Just like she gets Rutte to be Germany’s bagman when it comes to sticking it to southern EU countries when it comes to financial matters. The only thing Angie has shown any skill for is the French penchant for doing what you want, then sitting back and letting… Read more »
