Angela Merkel Calls for the Unvaccinated to Be Banned from Public Places

To avoid a tough winter and stem a rise in Covid cases, the outgoing German Chancellor is keen to activate the country’s ‘3G’ rule, which would introduce vaccine passports for most indoor public venues, in an attempt to entice members of the public to receive the jab. 33% of the German population currently remain unvaccinated, with the Health Minister Jens Spahn commenting that the nation is suffering from a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”. The Times has the story.

The chancellor has argued that similar steps should be adopted across the country in an effort to boost the stubbornly low level of vaccination and slow the spread of Covid.

Concern is growing about the prospect of another punishing winter. The number of infections recorded each day has doubled since mid-October and is higher now than it was at this point in 2020. Hospitals in many parts of Germany have warned they could soon be overwhelmed.

The situation is not yet desperate: vaccination has so far kept the number of deaths reported each day relatively low. The closely watched seven-day incidence rate has actually fallen a little over the past week, to 147 new cases per 100,000 people.

Today, however, Jens Spahn, the Health Minister, warned that Germany was going through a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” as the disease propagates rapidly through the 33% of the population that has yet to be jabbed. Merkel is said to have been “particularly shaken” by the case of a nursing home in Werbellinsee, near Berlin, where 14 residents died. Half of the staff had not been vaccinated.

The chancellor favours tightening the country’s ‘3G’ rule, under which people must prove they are vaccinated, recovered or tested (geimpftgenesen or getestet) in order to enter most indoor public venues.

Yesterday, Saxony imposed a stricter ‘2G’ system, meaning only the vaccinated and the recently recovered can go into spaces such as restaurants or football stadiums. Merkel’s spokesman said this was a “logical” way forward.

In Baden-Württemberg, meanwhile, unvaccinated people will instead have to obtain a negative PCR test result — at considerable expense — for these recreational activities. They will also only be allowed to meet five other unvaccinated people from outside their household at the same time.

Worth reading in full.

‘Pandemic of the unvaccinated’
is very poor use of language even if translated from German.
In what way can being unvaxxed be spread from person to person?

I think the “pandemic” they are scared of is a pandemic of questioning and resistance that spreads from the unvaccinated to the vaccinated, as that has the potential to railroad their plans for us.

Jens Spahn the “Health” Minister is talking about us as if we were a plague. He is taking a leaf out of the book used by his predecessors in German public office who once talked about an entire ethnic group as “vermin” and then killed most of them a few years later. Both Spahn and Merkel are a disgrace in public office, and John Witherow editor of the Times might as well be appointed directly by the British government, given that he publishes such fascist muck as “vaccination has so far kept the number of deaths reported each day relatively low.” “Merkel is said to have been “particularly shaken” by the case of a nursing home in Werbellinsee, near Berlin, where 14 residents died. Half of the staff had not been vaccinated.” Compare with the Gleiwitz incident. That kind of propaganda can be effective – a single point of reflex reference for morons who wouldn’t ever dare weigh up what they’re being told because they think it’s above their station, and a totally bullsh** linkage between two things, either one or both of which may well not be a fact anyway. You will notice that no unvaccinated person is given… Read more »

If I recall correctly the German troops who took part in the Gleiwitz incident had faulty radio equipment so the ‘provocation’ could not be broadcast as intended.

I agree that things are not going in our direction but take heart in the fact that, as the article says, 33% of Germans have yet to be vaccinated, a far higher % than anywhere in the UK. Perhaps this should remind Herr Spahn that many Germans remember their history somewhat better than he might wish.

Unfortunately that 33% is of the entire population.
I can see why the British government and media want to exaggerate the level of vaccination refusal in Germany, given that deaths reportedly “with Covid” are twice as high in Britain as in Germany.

I came back here when I remembered that film footage of the ‘ Gleiwitz incident’, noted by Star above, was later used as propaganda was a re-enactment staged by the Goebbels using concentration camp inmates in Polish uniforms, who were shot and who died for the purpose.

Exactly the same terminology used here in New Zealand. And now, the old ban-them-from-public-places thing is supposed to be coming in although we do actually have human rights laws which prohibit this sort of discrimination and behaviour. They seem to get round them. But… fair enough (sarcasm)….there’s a deadly disease here which has so far in this latest outbreak of 3550 or so “cases” resulted in the death of 2, maybe 3 people. One of them into her 90s. Sounds like a legitimate reason to have the country crippled by a 3 month closure of many Auckland businesses, a hard border around that city, mandated vaccines for nearly the entire population via back door health and safety legislation, and coming up – the traffic light system creating two classes of people, with the blessing of Dear Leader and all the smug “double jabbed”. I’m sad for my country.

I also note how this cute phrase “pandemic of the unvaccinated” is used by officials in all countries. Which is surreal as we have countries where 2/3rds to 90 percent of the population has already been vaccinated …. and cases are still higher than they were from the same period a year ago, when zero people had been vaccinated.

And people claim that countries are ‘independent’ and not in some kind of ‘lockstep’ getting orders from ‘The Globalists’. And this is all about a virus that makes hardly anyone ill, and even if you do catch it there’s a 99.7% chance of surviving it even if you are elderly and have ‘other comorbitities’ (ie. fat and on 40 Benson & Hedges a day)?

If the governments really were worried about their people’s health they’d make sure there was no homelessness, and that everyone had well paid jobs for starters, and could afford heating and hot water and clothes and food.

Stay out of hospital by getting vaxxed, but no problem about ending up in hospital because you couldn’t be Rsed to lose weight, even though we’ve known for almost 2 years that obesity is a major contributing factor in ending up in hospital (and not just because of the lurgi).

Two excerpts and comments:

The number of infections recorded each day has doubled since mid-October and is higher now than it was at this point in 2020.

COMMENT: 67 percent of the entire country is vaccinated and cases are higher than last year (when nobody was vaccinated). The vaccines are not stopping infection.

“Merkel is said to have been “particularly shaken” by the case of a nursing home in Werbellinsee, near Berlin, where 14 residents died. Half of the staff had not been vaccinated.”

COMMENT: The article (predictably) doesn’t say if the 14 nursing home residents who died had been vaccinated, but common sense says all or most had been. So the vaccines didn’t prevent these deaths .. We learn half of the staff had been vaccinated and half had not been. Were all 14 resident deaths traced to unvaccinated staffers? I doubt it. Plus, if the vaccines were really effective they would protect the vaccinated from everyone.

That case was immediately framed as such, without any evidence and with a far higher likelihood that a vaccinated, aka symptoms artificially suppressing infectious, person entered the building and was the source.
The tested unvaxxed are of course the much safer workers in that regard.

It’s thus safe to assume that Merkel will remain acting chancellor of Germany until well into 2022.

I mean government works, all politicians are happy, why rush to replace just because of an election? Government policy won’t change, anyway.

That they have to resort to highly misleading out of context reports about extreme bad weather (Northwest US heatwave, Australian bush fires, Danube floods) suggests that the case for CAGW is very weak, even if one is not an expert in the field. the case for AGW is moderate to strong. The case for CAGW is non-existent outside the fevered imaginations of some anti-human zealots.

It’s called tax on being alive.

There are already a few such taxes:

  1. Taxes included in energy prices (electricity and gas)
  2. Value Added Tax (taxing consumption of any sort)
  3. Income Tax (of course)
  4. Mandatory MSM contribution tax (at least in Germany, mandatory for any person who lives here)
  5. Vaccination tax (coming soon, every 6 months)
  6. CO2 tax (coming soon)

In theory taxes are not required for a state to finance itself (since they can print money), so their role is mainly to redistribute money and to punish “bad”, anti-social behavior.
If you look at the list above, you conclude that being alive is already considered “bad” by authorities who are running the world today.

Further proof that this is organised across Europe. Yesterday non-PM Rutte and his non-cabinet ‘tightened up’ nassi passes, making them applicable to more places. Just like last December, when all shops were closed (despite remaining open between March 2020 to December 2020 without any problem) at the same time they were in Germany, and for the same length of time. Some of the new measures were NOT based on the advice of the medical experts. They are now talking about introducing the nassi pass for shops, at local level. Sounds like a measured approach, but is clearly a devious attempt to get around parliamentary control, because they know parliament will not back the passes for shops, so they will try to implement the pass by means of local emergency regulations, put in place by unelected mayors. Rutte is not a legitimate PM – the entire cabinet resigned last January because of the child benefits scandal – it was not a big deal at the time, elections were held in March. Since March a cabinet has still not been formed, as the 4 coalition partners are fighting amongst themselves and inside their own parties. Rutte stood smirking in parliament after resigning,… Read more »

There is an ideological element to it, and I’ve also noticed the anti-religious element but I don’t feel that ideology is what’s driving it. My impression is that the thing we call fascism is an emergent property of societies experiencing specific economic circumstances. (the crash at the end of the Weimar Republic leading to Nazism etc)

The only ideology driving this is plain old-fashioned greed and the need that some people feel to push other people around. The greed part I get, the desire to make other people do what you want just because you can, I do not. To me it smacks of the bully, someone feeling the only way to overcome some perceived inadequacy can only be overcome by pushing someone else around. The whole thing will collapse, that is what has happened throughout history. There’s a Belgian saying (it rhymes in Dutch): in a family you have those who acquire wealth, those who inherit it and then those who lose it. The same can be said of society – we work hard to make life better, make life better and start taking it easy, those born into this know no different and assume it will always stay this way and therefore do not see it slipping away until it is too late. That is where we are now. The only thing that gives me solace is the fact that there are far, far more of us than them and when enough people have been hurt (either through loss of wealth or through loss… Read more »

I agree, the ruling castes tend to be sociopaths. That means they feel no remorse, have no conscience, and derive their joy from increasing personal power while humiliating other people (mostly those whom they view as direct competitors, but any will do).

You must never forget these character traits when trying to understand their motivations and the course of global politics. These are not normal people. Not aliens either, just individuals who are sick in their head in a very particular way.

From their point of view, it’s all just a sadistic game. They are not very concerned about their personal fate either, as psychopathy is associated with grandiosity and tendency for extreme risk taking. They simply get their kicks off all that is happening.

Yes, I have met some people like that. They have no sense of limit to their behaviour, and no conscience, no sense of truth (they lie egregiously) so they always destroy themselves, unfortunately only after doing a lot of damage to others.

I came across a leak from NZ the other day which I posted here somewhere. The point of the leak was that the informant said the purpose was to cause maximum harm through the vaxxes and total loss of faith in government in order to implement a world government.

Many people thought it ludicrous. I am afraid I think it probable as a plan for these sociopathic types.

Every country doing the same things, using the same language, with politicians, healthcare and media all ignoring the same vaccinated elephants that become infected and transmit in the same way, but sure, there’s no global conspiracy. Just lots and lots and lots and lots of coincidences.

Or it is group think and unscrupulous politicians seeking to outdo each other with (unfortunately) popular measures that appeal to the very basest of fascistic, intolerant, xenophobic tendencies of the great unwashed; tendencies which have been exploited over the last 21 months to affect unprecedented peacetime control of democratic populations. This was posted yesterday and is well worth a read:

The “groupthink” in the corporate or mainstream press must be at 99.99 percent. That’s the key to the entire operation.

2G/3G is a deliberately chosen term that obfuscates what it really is: total discrimination, exclusion and ruin versus just discrimination and impoverishment.

Yes, pretty much everywhere else covid pass or vax pass is used. That spells it out more clearly than 3G or 2G, which I first misunderstood to be the name for some mobile telephone network.

Is Merkel about to issue Yellow Stars?

JayBee

All leaders regard this as an international pi**ing contest with regard to the cases/deaths stats league tables.
Merkel is one of the worst and most driven in that regard, not least because Germany got lucky initially and still lives off its headstart.
Not using reason for that of course, only the Davos approved tools that created and worsened the plandemic.
They cannot do anything else but double down on them, if they don’t want to end up in court, at best.
The sadder thing is that most of the population is fully behind it, endorses and practices enthusiastically all the restrictions and discriminations, and revels in diffamating, lecturing, denunciating and punishing the dissidents- plus ça change, it’s genetic by now in Germany and Austria and, sadly and surprisingly, Switzerland now too.
Everyday life was and is much, much harder in Germany&co for a dissident than in the UK, where Johnson at least shied away from starting that culture war, and where the people are still much more tolerant and polite towards another- outside of the chattering class cheerleaders, of course, they could all be German.

The bottom-line point remains: The more evidence that emerges that the vaccines are NOT “safe and effective,” the more brazen the effort becomes to get everyone vaccinated …. and punish those who are not vaccinated.

Another excellent article at DS today makes the compelling point that the vaccines have almost certainly caused huge spikes in excess deaths in 2021.

This is something I find quite disturbing. I’ve said before, even if one gives them the benefit of the doubt and accept that they really believed the vaxx would be the answer, they must see now this is not true and continuing to push is not only unethical, but pointless. Suppose a better vaxx does come along, a traditional one without all the side effects and long-term unknowns – far fewer people would be willing to take it because of the loss of trust. So why are they not slowly changing the narrative, saying things like the number of unvaxxed is so low it won’t make a difference to infections/hospitalisations, rather than doubling down? The head of the Dutch OMT has been saying for weeks that the jabs’ protection against severe illness/hospitalisation remained high, despite waning effectiveness against infections. So how to explain the booster announced for December? That in itself is an admission that whatever effectiveness there is, wanes on all points within a matter of months, so why keep pushing? The official info on the FDA websites states quite clearly that unknown side effects may yet occur, as clinical trials are still ongoing. No doctor who genuinely cares… Read more »

They don’t need to be directly paid off. Look at what happened at stock prices of all tech companies. This is how the decision makers are paid off.

The most powerful explanation is their fear of admitting any past mistakes and the wish to avoid any responsibility for future ones.

So they choose instead to continue lying even more brazenly, in the (justified) hope that the whole thing eventually goes away and that they can then attribute it to their wise leadership, AND still keep all the unnecessary measures that provide more power to them.

As is the case in all marketing, it does not matter what is real/true, it only matters what people believe is real/true. The politicians understand this concept very well.

A possible Corona-exit strategy for Germany:

  1. Mandate testing pretty much everywhere. Pandemic explodes.
  2. Use that to push vaccination as far as possible.
  3. Restrict mandatory testing to the unvaccinated to get a pandemic of the asymptomatic unvaccinated.
  4. After the number of unvaccinated has fallen to a sufficiently low level, block them from everything which used to require a test.
  5. Hey presto! It worked! No more pandemic!

At the expense of pissing of a relatively small segment of the population, most of them AfD-voters, you got your Get out of jail for free! card.

You got it. If AfD can be demonized and further destroyed, so the better. And the “2G” rules take care of encouraging all the vaccinated to mingle, so that they don’t avoid work and can gain actual immunity from an infection.

And even after it’s all done, they can continue getting vaccinated for the years to come, as a matter of post hoc rationalization (done it once, so why not do it again as a “preventive” measure – just like some/many people do the flu vaccinations). Of course, the new systems of surveillance (soon to be extended by EU-proposed “criminal scanner” in every phone and personal ID integration into apps) stay forever, ostensibly as a way to “prepare” for the next pandemic. (Actually, as a way to prepare for state-controlled digital currency.)

I thought that there were concerns expressed by some researchers that this pill might be carcinogenic.

Proveritate

Once again, rushed out before trials are complete. I checked on the government website and they confirm that no tests for carcinogenicity have been done. Its mechanism of action is to introduce copying errors in RNA replication, to degrade viruses. However the mechanism can also damage DNA, and the following paper showed that it is mutagenic to mammals: https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/224/3/415/6272009 However, there are risks for the host in that the same mutagenic activity that impacts viral replication has the potential for incorporation and mutagenesis of host DNA. This risk can be inferred based on the common intermediate of the ribonucleoside diphosphate shared in the synthesis of both ribonucleoside triphosphates and 2′-deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates. The concern would be that mutations in host DNA could contribute to the development of cancer, or cause birth defects either in a developing fetus or through incorporation into sperm precursor cells. To test this inference, we used an HPRT gene knockout assay to assess mutagenesis of host DNA and readily demonstrated this activity for rNHC, presumably through a dNHC metabolite. We take this as evidence that in exposing the viral population to mutagenesis in its RNA form, the host is likely to be exposed in its DNA form.… Read more »
