CNN Reports on COP26, But Gets City Wrong
Much hilarity on Twitter today after CNN’s Wolf Blitzer posted a photograph of himself with Edinburgh Castle in the background, accompanied by the words: “I’m now reporting from Edinburgh in Scotland where 20,00 world leaders have gathered for the COP26 climate summit.” Just one small problem Wolf: COP26 is being held in Glasgow, not Edinburgh.
If CNN can’t even be bothered to check which city COP26 is in, how confident can we be that the broadcaster will check any other ‘facts’ it broadcasts about the ‘Climate Breakdown’?

Also, he says “. . . where 20,000 world leaders and delegates have gathered for the COP26 Climate Summit.” Yep, he’s seriously lost the plot! What he meant to say was: “. . . where a handful of world leaders (minus the two most important ones – Putin & Xi Jingping) and 20,000 hangers-on gathered for the COP26 Climate Summit.”
Replace “climate summit” with “piss up”
Perhaps he’s a journalist in the manner of Ricky Gervais’ character in ‘Special Correspondents’, sitting in an apartment in New York.
Oh well, at least I now know what COP stands for having previously supposed it to be some reference to Copenhagen though for no particular reason.

For some reason, “COP 26” sits in my mind alongside of the American TV sitcom “Car 54, Where Are You?” As I recall, from the distant past, that had a cast of incompetent and bumbling characters.

Maybe they didn’t want to show footage of Poopy Joe nodding off at the beginning of the conference, so they quickly rigged up the castle picture. Shame they couldn’t find a picture of a Glaswegian chippy..

Well, he’s doing this for Americans, and many of them will not have the foggiest idea where Scotland is, never mind the finer point of whether COP26 be in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
I was once asked in Colorado how long it took to drive from Denver to England, and what language they spoke there.

What is worse. To say they are in Edinburgh, proof of it is in the background, and think the conference is there. or say the conference is in Glasgow and pretend to be in Glasgow, whilst in front of a Edinburgh landmark which his viewers would even recognise as they all love E?

Maybe Wolf was in the tail car of Biden’s 85 vehicle motorcade which paused for a red light in Edinburgh and he got out.
The key point is that CNN sent its No. 1 anchor to cover this global-warming pow wow, showing the importance the network places on advancing this agenda.
Needless to say, there will be no stories challenging the science of the conclusions of these climate cultists.
And, amazingly, each Conference Of the Parties has been held at 1 minute to Midnight. No wonder Biden dozed off!
