And Finally…

In the latest episode of London Calling, I bet James Delingpole ÂŁ50 there won’t be a national lockdown in England before Christmas, nor will there be a lockdown of the unvaccinated. In addition, we discuss driven shooting, David’s Law, the new series of Succession and our old friend Michael Gove.

Very much missing some good UK shooting as stuck in USA until mid December. Absolutely nothing wrong with shooting…

Not sure the grouse, ducks, pigeons, whatever share your sentiment.

Men with guns killing innocent animals for shits and giggles. How manly and superior they must feel.

Ohh god, what a stupid comment. How do you think we got to this point on the planet, just like we couldn’t survive before Big Pharma gave us a vaccine? Being able to go out and hunt food for ourselves, in whatever narrative, keeps us connected to the earth. Only the foolish turn their backs on that…

Why is it stupid? I have no problem with people hunting for food if they needed to (even being one of them wanky vegans myself) but this is for ‘sport’ or ‘fun’ – there’s a marked difference.

I accept some people like to murder deer etc for ‘sport’. (And, no I don’t eat them either.) I do accept that. And that people I like will do that. What I’m not understanding is why we have to have it one week in London Calling, then another, then another. Shove it down our throats why don’t you? I’ve listened to London Calling every single week for the last year or so. I would have continued after the first ‘shooting’ episode, but stopped, probably forever, after the second. And now they’re doing it again???!! WTF I think is the appropriate expression! And as for comments like ‘PaulO’s, has s/he ever considered that one way in which we differ from all other beings on the earth is that human beings have CHOICES. Or at least, now, in the 21st century, we have, indisputably, choices. So what do we do? RIP London Calling.

In some cases shooting is a necessity in this country, where there are native herds of deer, on account of the historical apex predator, the wolf, having been wiped out in the 16th century. If the herd is not culled, it will destroy itself (and the foliage within its territory) with overpopulation and overeating. I learned this from the head keeper of an expansive city park where deer roam wild. They have to shut the park to the public for a few days every year for ‘essential maintenance’. It’s an essential part of the park’s ecology.

I also personally believe that hunting is an innate instinct of the male human animal, and its suppression has caused more harm than good to the psyche of human society.

My brother in law and nephew go game bird shooting, the birds get bred for it and probably get a better life and death than a mass produced chicken – all the shot birds are sold to butchers and restaurants if not eaten by those on the shoot.

Lockdown of the unvaccinated?! Where the hell did that come from?

It basically means “if you ain’t jabbed you ain’t coming in” scenarios when they trot out the “freedom” passport to everlasting tyranny in December.

So – more lockout than lockdown.
I’m kind of resigned to that, but just been reading about Austria where it does sound like they wall you up in your own house.
Delightful.

What does wearing a camouflage jacket and a high visibility jacket say about ones logic?

If I were Delingpole, I’d want that bet money put into escrow for when he wins it.

I’ve got news for TY, we are still in lockdown and have been since March 2020. It just morphs. Yes, not as many things are closed as they were in other phases, and I am as pleased about that as the next man, but we still have the Big Lie intact, little serious opposition to it, travel restrictions, open warfare against the unvaxxed, threats of more restrictions, masks everywheree, no jab no job in certain sectors, lots of restrictions imposed by businesses and local authorities on their own initiative, disruption in schools, online universities, threats of vaxx passports, insane mass testing, track and trace, and most importantly an evil vaxx program based on a lie. That bet is in poor taste. We have very little to celebrate and a mountain to climb. This isn’t a game.

Birds & animals culled to control numbers (pigeon, rabbit, deer, etc.) justifiable. Breeding for ‘sport’ (pheasant, grouse, etc.) not so much.

Major Panic in the jabby jabbys

We will be sold vax ID controls passports (plan B) as essential to prevent lockdown (plan C) and we should be grateful – as explained in the short WEF video in this article…

Vax ID control passports are an important element of the agenda

Succession is a US TV show about 3 kids desperate to replace their father (Brian Cox) as the head of a global news conglomerate. You can see similarities with Alexander Johnson’s cabinet. Sajid Javid, Priti Patel, Rishi Sunak etc would do exactly the same thing if the opportunity presents itself.
