Get the Booster Vaccine or Lose the Freedom to Enjoy Christmas, Warns NHS Chief
Less than a week after Laura Dodsworth wrote a piece on the ‘nudges‘ involved in the Government’s threats of more restrictions, the NHS’s most senior doctor has warned Britons that our freedom to enjoy Christmas could be stripped from us if enough people don’t get a ‘booster’ Covid vaccine.
“The freedom we now all enjoy,” Professor Stephen Powis writes in the Sunday Telegraph, “is a direct result of the country’s willingness and desire to come forward for a Covid jab when it has been offered.” That very ‘freedom’ will be gone again if take-up doesn’t stay high.
Although the country once again finds itself at a crunch point, the NHS vaccination programme remains the strongest weapon in the armoury. Because we rolled out jabs so quickly, we are likely to see protection from the virus waning sooner than other countries. That means that without a booster, many people will find themselves more vulnerable to Covid, going into winter. So it’s vital that everyone gets their top-up jab as soon as they are eligible.
People will be contacted to book their jab six months after their second dose. And if for some reason you don’t receive an invite, you will be able to book directly through the national booking service after you become eligible.
We have to seize the moment, get our booster jab and protect ourselves as we go into what will no doubt be a tough winter, particularly as we are likely to see seasonal flu pose a risk to our health. And to maximise the impact of the vaccination programme we must all continue to act responsibly.
The more of us that come forward for our booster jab, and the more we keep our resolve in helping to limit the spread of infection, then the greater chance we all have of staying well.
So, when your time comes, take up the offer, book your booster and protect the freedom and Christmas that we have all earned and deserve to enjoy.

All that is needed at the door is a scanner to which you show your valid ‘vaxx pass’ and the gate will swing open. Of course, if you haven’t had the latest jab, your pass will be invalid and you will not be allowed into the shop.
It really is that simple to arrange.
Which is why they added facial recognition cameras on the unpersoned tills. All part of the plan.

Presumably everyone who caught covid before being vaccinated will not suffer from this effect. I wonder how many people that applies to.
Sadly the most vulnerable are least likely to have caught covid before their vaxx because of all the sheltering in place/shielding that they were encouraged or forced to do.
PS. The fact that a great many people apparently got the vax after already experiencing a previous bout for covid ( as if immunity following infection didn’t exist, a bit of misinformation which the msm encouraged ), but will have been included in these figures ( unless specifically excluded after tests determined a prior infection ? ), and presumanly aren’t suffering from this “hobbling” effect, means that the situation among just the vaxxed *before* infection is probably even worse.

Asked husband this question this morning. He refuses to answer so that I guess means all of them, forever.
I have asked my partner this, and she is willing to take as many as are offered. Nothing I have said over the past 20 months has made her change her mind.
She really thinks going to England is dangerous as the News on TV and in the papers say that ‘cases are rising’ in the UK.
Nope, we still don’t know of anyone who has had Covid.
We also don’t know of anyone who has died of two jabs – but then, they’re more of a way of controlling the people – no jab, no vaxx pass.
I think the worst thing about all of this is the way it has messed with the minds of people who, up till March 2020 were sane and rational people. And they won’t be told, can’t be convinced and won’t listen to reason. We need a whole army of counsillors and therapists to put them right.

It’s very easy to get emotional, but we need to remember that there are plenty of people on the other side who would like to execute ‘disease ridden stupid covidiots/mask refuseniks’.
If one day we go back to a society that has rule of law, reason, scepticism, etc., then I’d like all these people to have proper trials and be given measured punishment. We don’t have the death penalty in this country* but there are more than a handful of individuals who surely deserve life in prison.
*In principle I have no problem with the death penalty, but do you really want THIS government and this judicial system in charge of deciding who dies and who doesn’t? I’ve had enough of that thanks.

.. well we’ve had this crap for nearly two years now and with no end in sight – we stayed indoors, we wore the masks, we stayed away from family and friends, we took the jabs and still its not enough – well, I’m sorry but enough is enough – the NHS was created to allow us to live our lives to the fullest without having to worry about becoming ill and paying medical bills. The NHS is there to treat us when we are ill and prevent the worst from happening. The rest of the time, we should be able to forget about the bloody NHS and carry on with our lives without fear of being locked-up in order to ‘save the NHS’ – if we have reached the point where we are having to sacrifice our freedoms to save the NHS then there is something seriously wrong with the NHS.
