“Are major Ivermectin studies designed for failure?”. Probably, I’m jolly well sure that vitamin D trial they had some months back was designed for failure – as I’ve said before, nothing like what the (non pharma linked) OMNS recommended. And then there was the smear campaign by the pharmaceutical industry against harmless laetrile, leading to apricot kernels being banned from being sold as a food by the EU. Really, big pharma and their proxies are so corrupt. Oh, and for any Times writers who see this, this isn’t conspiracy theory, this is fact. See this for what the OMNS recommended: orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v16n04.shtml Compare this to what was actually done in the vitamin D trial. And as for apricot kernels, Phillip Day was writing about this harmless food (I’ve been taking them for years) a long time before the EU passed rules banning them from being sold as a food. And then suddenly they get banned as a food. Coincidence? No reason why it would be (unless you’re a Times conspiracy theorist who believes that the pharmaceutical industry has no responsibility for such a thing and are all charitable benevolent people saving us from cancer, despite all the stories of the corruption… Read more »
Ivermectin must fail at all costs, if it doesn’t, there’s no excuse for emergency use of covid “vaccines” & new cash cow treatments!
It is incredible how any science or research paper that even suggests an alternative to big pharma vaccines & msm cv19 fear porn, disappears from the internet within days.
A while ago I came across a paper; Lactoferrin for the treatment of COVID-19 Basically cow’s milk, as a Prophylaxis against covid. Its disappeared.
They are even now attempting to prevent the sale of N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) as a supplement because of its suggested benefits as a Prophylaxis against viral infection.
I don’t know how they will ban D3, although they did attempt that with the first lockdown. It always amazes how pharma worshippers advocate untested dodgy medical treatments but will go into apoplectic rants about the unknown harms of naturally occurring substances, which are often essential for life.
The incursion disguised as a ‘service’.
“Aussies will be able to pay for their groceries at Woolworths and Coles by scanning a QR code, with the new option rolling out into stores before Christmas.”
Bonus points to News for irony. The video at the top of the story asks What smartphone is best for your privacy?
Convenience for your freedom, what a bargain!
I loved lockdown, because every day I worked hard at accepting “hardship” (i.e no modern conveniences) to detox myself of self-indulgence.
I’m much happier & content, it gives immense satisfaction not to be reliant on corporations, banks & government. I’m willing to give up almost anything for my freedom.
Interesting article in Multipolar (magazine?) by a German national broadcaster (Roundup)
By switching German names and locations it would be a useful summary of the UK response to Covid these past 18 months.
Just one example, his Open Question #5 asks why the Interior Department instructing the authorities and media to create a “shock effect” about Covid among the public is not more widely shared.
Exactly mirrors the demand of SAGE to create ‘fear’ and enhanced levels of personal risk among the UK population.
Same goes for the manipulation of statistics (particularly rates of infection among the double jabbed) and increasingly heavy suppression of expert opinions that counter the official position on any given subject.
My idiot husband thinks that the experts with opinions that counter the official narrative are all funded by The Russians, Is this a new depth to which the BBC has sunk in its relentless propagation of lies..? The BBC is his only source of ‘news’ so I guess this is where he got it from.
🤦♂️My commiserations. Wouldn’t even know where to start!
Thanks CG – there is nowhere to start though believe me I have tried. How can you argue with someone who believes the lies and repeats them with such aggression and tones of authority? As the UK column has said many times, people have lost the ability to think. My observation with him that this trait extends far beyond Covid – he is unable to think for himself in any capacity, continually looking to me to think for him! Am placing my hopes in the booster clotshot which he will undoubtedly trot off to receive when called up. 3rd time lucky maybe? That obviously makes me a very bad person.
ooof! Must be extremely hard. Can’t imagine being in a partnership with someone who was interpreting this so very differently. This whole situation has really brought out people’s true colours hasn’t it. I suppose we’ve got that to ‘thank’ it for.
Why won’t he let you think for him on COVID too? Fortunately, my husband has acceded to my request to be in charge of all thoughts in the house, given that I am better at thinking than him.
Otherwise, it would be a life of constant recriminations and “I told you so”s. He thought I was a loon for about 2 weeks in 2020, but very quickly realised I was right on this. Now firmly on my side.
Yesterday I recieved a 5 page (paper) letter from the DHSC (dated 17th September) advising me that I no longer need to ‘shield’ from Covid. I have never done any such thing and the advice to do so arrived a year late. I should however only permit houseguests who have been double jabbed 14 days prior to their visit. Further we should continue to practice Social Distancing and wear masks (in my own home). My guests should also be asked to take a rapid lateral flow antigen test before visiting. Just as well I’m not expecting to invite friends and family round for Xmas. One little gem further into the letter “Although cases have continued to go up (dates unspecified) there has not been the same increase in people becoming seriously ill and needing to go to hospital or dying”. Not something you might gather from the MSM although, as ever, widely commented here at LS/DS and elsewhere for months on end. The A4 paper letter has 5 hyperlinks in blue and underlined including two that cover over one and a half lines of the page with multiple dots, hyphens and slashes. I have not received these links in any… Read more »
“there has not been the same increase in people becoming seriously ill and needing to go to hospital or dying”
Yeah, right. That is why we are in a period of excess mortality right now. Oh I see…they meant from COVID…all those deaths from heart attacks and strokes and so on in the vaccinated, they don’t count. Even though some of them are children.
I’m bet their families are glad they sacrificed their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and others for the COVID cause. NOT.
It gets funnier, even though the letter says ‘cases are going up. . . ‘ it claims the reason hospitalisations and deaths are not is because of the ‘successful vaccination programme . . . ‘ duh.
This is the opposite of the Panic Porn pushed by the legacy media: the Amish response to Covid, and a window into the self-reliance that existed before we turned into sheep:
https://fullmeasure.news/news/shows/amish-covid
Somebody mentioned this about the Amish yesterday.
That interesting article suggests that had bozo gone for the ‘let it rip’ policy last year Covid would now be a distant memory of a few weeks unpaid leave which is what many of us were expecting at the time hence the original title of this site, Lockdownsceptics.
😕 ‘paid leave’
It was actually unpaid that the self-emplyed were expecting
Except this “pandemic” has nothing to do with Bozo, he is just doing as he is told.
After a simple explanation of their response, the reporter asks ‘Did the Amish find a magic formula?’ I hope she was being ironic.
A good find. No panic porn in Amish territory.
I think I’d be good at being Amish. I don’t like buttons either (all I know about the Amish comes from watching Witness with Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis).
Though I think they eschew mascara, which I’d struggle to live without.
I particularly liked their reason for not getting tested. I know I’m sick, I don’t need anyone else to tell me I’m sick.
if only everybody had adopted this sensible attitude!
Personally I’m not that fond of Italian cooking!
You might be able to use coal dust?
It would probably be “proud”, like buttons
Sorry the button thing cracks me up. I have have koumpounophobia and my best friend at school was always urging me to join the Amish in my teens, because they have hook & eyes instead of buttons (buttons being too proud, as Kelly McGillis explains to Harrison Ford). My friend thinks it is hysterical and still mentions it. We are 48.
Thank you for the new word and sorry to hear that. Gosh yes forget the coal mascara; even just eyelashes themselves could be a problem 😬
It’s surprising how many, former W.H.O Dr’s. Are speaking out against the official covid narrative.

The Fifth Doctor @ https://rumble.com/c/c-1060561
The more the top falls apart the better. Lots of factions up there. I’ve been hoping they’d start to squabble among themselves – diverts their attention from us
Wow this was excellent, thanks! Didn’t intend to watch it all but Dr Paul is so great to listen to, Dr Roger is always fabulous and Dr Sam is a rarity in that he lets his guests speak at length without interjecting all over the place. I’ve seen Dr Paul’s name somewhere before…does he write articles for Trialsite News or AIER? I shall check out the next segment in due course. 🙂
Dr Paul wrote an opinions piece in Trialsite explaining why children’s immune systems meant that they already had immunity to the virus & did not need the jab
Biological and molecular evidence why children are effectively COVID immune and can be considered already vaccinated (trialsitenews.com)
Fab. Thanks for that! 🙂
I don’t agree with Dr. H that governments, being woke, are attempting to protect their populations. Every policy governments have uniformly and purposely adopted has been counter-productive and devastatingly harmful. Surprising to hear him confuse paternalism with authoritarianism.
Whats good for the goose……….
Row over allegations Boris and Carrie Johnson ‘broke Covid lockdown rules’ by allowing friend to stay at No10 last Christmas… as fury erupts at claims the PM’s wife ‘models’ image on Kate Middleton but is ‘bitter’ at her ‘slick PR
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10097383/Row-allegations-Boris-Carrie-Johnson-broke-Covid-lockdown-rules-Christmas.html
Oh good. More squabbling up there
It’s all just theatre for consumption of the masses. People ask whose controlling Alexander de Pfeffel Johnson, when the real question should be whose controlling Carrie Johnson (née Symonds)?
Interesting that the Daily Mail would run an article like the one below. How does the saying go? You get the most flak when you are right over the target.
‘Super-spreaders of Covid lies: How a small cabal of anti-vaxxers are cashing in while risking countless lives with celebrities targeted at home and children terrified at the school gate’
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10097721/Covid-lie-spreaders-small-cabal-anti-vaxxers-cashing-risking-countless-lives.html
Bet the DM didn’t expect the comment below to be the best rated one (666 votes versus 86)!
“Ludicrous’ conspiracy theories like the vaxx passports, people being fired for refusing the vaxx etc? You know, all the stuff which has COME TRUE?”
Maybe there is hope yet!
When not moderated DM comments sections have been consistently sceptical about things relating to covid/lockdown, increasingly so as time goes by.
Many of the, much disliked, supportive comments are so absurd that they appear to be black ops or strawman arguments posted by actual sceptics.
Yes, spot on, I thought that too.
Government’s focus on critical care: –
Masses of fully armed police in knife incident, one person with knife waited for police to arrive and arrest them, target dead at scene announced 1 hour and 45 mins, air ambulance arrived 2 hours and 10 mins after incident is, according to msm, sequence of events.
Waiting to be arrested doesn’t sound like real life.
Drama first, health care an after-thought.
How intentionally or otherwise was after-thought too late?
Anti-abortion and 4 children versus population reduction? Bio too weak for lock-up so add security as per Michie’s newly expanded empire?
Labelled terrorist incident by police dressed and behaving more like terrorists than one patiently waiting to be arrested. Blair’s favourite scape-goat blamed.
Ramp fear up to prolong it to further destroy health and use as excuse to reimpose lock-up to destroy health of those not buying the fear.
Hey presto – MPs will vote for extension of emergency powers on 19th, petition for referendum ignored, plan for winter lock-up already approved by them
The false flag/crisis actor thing is so tedious & disrespectful to those that have lost loved ones, besides why do you assume these psychopaths in charge of the ‘secret state’ care who or how many they murder?
The security agencies have been complicit in invading, occupying numerous countries, killing millions, displacing tens of millions, destroying regions, collapsing economies, ruining countries, taking people’s land, levelling their homes, murdering their families causing famine & mass immigration, do you REALLY think they care about killing one individual?
You’re right about one thing, politician’s actions have consequences if their policies & legislation take everything from people they shouldn’t be surprised when individuals are driven insane & seek redemption. I am unreservedly against any form of violence which includes state violence. We need to deradicalize & demilitarize the police, stop invading & occupying other countries, stop creating & supporting terrorist organizations, perhaps if we start respecting each other we can reverse this trend of abhorrent brutal state violence driving people to do reprehensible acts.
I seem to have not made it clear I do not assume they care about any one. I know at first-hand that they do not.
I care aboout each and every individual and do not believe the state cares about any one.
So far as being disrespectful to those who have lost loved ones – I am one who has.
My warnings are to others to try to stop it happening to others.
My warnings seem to have caught the attention of authorities – NHS denied me life-saving medication in April 20 and a few days ago, private sector GPs did same.
I have repeatedly stated that I am 100% against any form of violence and have been subjected to it myself by authorities.
I hope now I have managed to clarify to you that your accusations against me are incorrect
I made no accusations against you personally. I’d suggest you read the comment thoroughly.
Your post seemed to be implying a narrative commonly made in forums.
Mad men don’t act normally, I of course have no advance knowledge of your personal circumstances, why would why?
When you boil it all down its all about protecting the dollar as the reserve currency, and the TPTB controlling commodities.
Referendum? Be careful what you wish for. A sheeple referendum would have them bleating for perpetual incarceration to keep them saaaaaaaafe.
I wasn’t making any assumptions about which way it would go.
I just view it as a chance for people to have a say and am not against that.
If its outcome turns out to not be to my personal choice, then so be it
Do you trust that tptb would let the skeptic vote win? I don’t.
It is a matter of fairness.
I am trying to keep an open mind.
As per English Law: first assumption innocent.
Until they have been asked, we do not know.
I am not in favour of accusing anyone without evidence.
A referendum could provide that one way or the other.
I am not in favour of getting what I want by shutting other people’s mouths.
I believe in freedom of speech for all – others as well as myself.
If you were a horse in a horse race called Pfizer with an 0.84% chance of winning the race and another horse called Covid had a 99.16 % chance of winning the race, I’d bet my bundle on Covid and you would not get my vote – much laughter: Former Pfizer VP: 0.84% ‘Clear evidence of fraud’ in Pfizer study claiming 95% efficacy posted by Mordechai Sones September 30, 2021 10:58 am America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) Chief Science Officer Dr. Michael Yeadon yesterday said there is “clear evidence of fraud” in the Pfizer study that purports to claim 95% efficacy in their COVID-19 “vaccine”. Yeadon was commenting on an article appearing in The Lancet and critiquing a documentary that scrutinized a Pfizer efficacy study, calling the distinction raised therein between relative risk reduction and absolute risk reduction “accurate”. The Lancet article, entitled COVID-19 vaccine efficacy and effectiveness—the elephant (not) in the room, says that although attention has focused on vaccine efficacy and comparing the reduction of the number of symptomatic cases, “fully understanding the efficacy and effectiveness of vaccines is less straightforward than it might seem. Depending on how the effect size is expressed, a quite different picture might emerge.” The… Read more »

“Did Klaus Schwab and World Economic Forum Admit The COVID Vaccine Injects Traceable Markers? Their Promoted “COVIDPass” Blood Test Requires Them”
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2021/10/16/did-klaus-schwab-and-world-economic-forum-admit-the-covid-vaccine-injects-traceable-markers-their-promoted-covid-pass-blood-test-requires-them/
Blimey – good find!
DNA!
Here’s some graphs based on the Vaccine Surveillance datasheet from weeks 36-41.
Although this is released weekly they are being crafty by reporting only data for the previous four weeks meaning you cannot calculate the delta week to week like you could in the VoC Technical Briefings.
The four week window also flattens any trends but you can still see them.
The Absolute Risk Reduction numbers are the take aways for me personally. I see little to no justification for any healthy individuals under 60 taking these ‘vaccines’ given the 94% of those dying within 28 days of a positive test over this same period had one or more underlying conditions.
I’ll post each cohort in replies to this post.
Feel free to comment and/or critique. I’m keen to know if people see things I’m missing or read things differently. 🙂
80+
70-79
60-69
50-59
40-49
30-39
18-29
And here’s the data from I used to working the underlying health conditions percentages. This is only hospital deaths so it could be even higher if some are still dying in care homes or at home.
0-19 71% had underlying conditions
20-39 71%
40-49 59%
60-79 94%
80+. 95%
Looking at the last sets of figures, it looks like underlying conditions have a lot of deaths to answer for.
My observation is that the case rates for injected vs not seem to be roughly tracking the injection rates of the population in all age groups. It’s almost like the injections have no effect whatsoever! I’m sure this has been remarked upon previously though.
I do like a nice graph 😁.
What happened to our ‘Rights’, the first major test of human rights since WW2 & it just disintegrated, where have all the liberal human rights lawyers gone? Defending the dinghy people? Amazing how liberals support vaccine passport apartheid but aggressively defend illegal immigration.
Well worth watching in full Charter of Rights & Freedoms Legend Brian Peckford Condemns Vaccine Mandates he makes an excellent point, the courts are already biased because they have already adopted covid mitigation measure in their own courtrooms, so how can you receive a fair trial. Of course not a problem in the UK they won’t accept legal challenge to the covid narrative anyway.
Politicians can not give you rights, they can only take them away!
This comment on the BBC Breakfast report on the assassination of David Amess has so far been allowed to stand for 14 minutes.
Fact Checkers not awake yet?
Scandalously inaccurate. Somalia isn’t a County.
Islam is a political system. Everything its adherents do is a political act.
Mental health issues, toxic masculinity, more gibs for migrants, more gibs for “community leaders”, learn nothing, do nothing, change nothing.
I thought that Islam was the religion and Islamism the political system based on it.
Yes, that’s what we’ve been told to think.
It’s false. The “religion” dictates absolutely everything that its adherents must do, say, and think, down to how they must wash differently after touching sheep, camels, or dogs.
islam and shariah go together like… well, there is no analogy that’s closer. They are synonymous. Anyone who does not follow the political system of shariah is a kuffar or an apostate.
Now all MP’s are having their ‘security arrangements reviewed’ which seems like a sensible reaction, or perhaps they are anticipating more hostility from the public as we move into the dark winter phase of agenda 30.
I’m surprised there haven’t been more attacks on the cunts who voted to destroy this country and then kept voting to continue the destruction.
They’ll all be assigned a slightly overweight 4’8″ PCSO with a taser to protect them!
In reality, there’s really nothing that can stop these random acts. That of course won’t prevent another raft of statute legislation to erode any privacy & freedom we have left. Who knows what they’ll ban next!
It was an astonishing police response time though, 5 minutes & only ten for full anti terrorism armed response. I don’t mean to be insensitive, but I’m actually surprised only 3 or 4 MPS have been murdered in the last 50 years.
Nah, just give them 888!
14.00 Saturday. Checked the now 1k comments (lead comments only), this comment has disappeared; the word Somali/an appears only twice though there are a few mentions of Islam.
“SAGO”? For me, it’s from the same stable as Noel Coward’s mickey-take of the Sitwells (Osbert, Sacheverell and Edith) in “London Calling” as Hernia, Gob and Sago, of the Swiss Family Whittlebot.
They called it SAGO to irritate those of us who remember sago from school, a sweet yet unappetizing pudding imported on the cheap from Malaya.
You mean frog spawn?
That was tapioca wasn’t it? Blob of jam in the middle!
They are very similar. We used to have both. Or maybe the same thing with different names on the packets? 🤔
Spot on. They are two separate gourmet experiences, albeit the substances are similar. We must also not forget those delicious rice puddings with the charred brown skins on the top.
As we are, nationally, hurtling back in time, occasionally to the Dark and Middle Ages, but sometimes to the 1970s and previous postwar decades, I can see that tapioca and sago will again become a part of the national diet. If made with non-dairy “milk”, I’m sure they’ll meet every requirement for our new Green, woke, planet-saving feeding regimes; always presuming Soylent Green doesn’t become the default nutrition.
I’d forgotten that!🤮

The repurposed WHO origins investigation group has as one of its members Dr Christian Drosten.
They are laughing at us. They don’t even need to hide it anymore.

PCR Drosten?
Is this satire?
Yes, the same brilliant mind that’s telling people to get vaxxed, then get Covid.

Thousands blame COVID-19 vaccine for hearing problems.Still the message is to impress upon everyone that the officials say it is safe and these are rare events!
Yes I think the “Safe and effective” description is falling apart rapidly, sounding more like a marketing slogan than an evidence-based fact.
If they’d listened a bit harder before absorbing the snake oil, they wouldn’t have to worry about their HEARING NOW.
The “Extreme” Maskateers are certainly not going down without a fight.
Just been down to our local fruit and veg shop and there was a mother and son and I would say the boy was about 3, both of them fully masked up.
The mother looked at my unmasked face with suspicion of course.
The little lad, as all young children do started to pick up various fruit and veg, and his mother’s reaction would have been funny if it hadn’t been frightening: “Don’t touch that! I will have to scrub your hands and sanitize them all over again”
Dear God, what is the matter with these people?
Was the woman aged in her 30s, by any chance?
Don’t know why it should be, but from my observations many of the most committed maskivists are women in that age group.
CORRECT!!
And yet I’m willing to bet that people will still be dumb enough to go along with whatever the government tells them to do this Christmas – wear the mask, social distance, stay at home, no family gatherings – incredible …
Boris and Carrie Johnson are accused of breaking Covid lockdown rules by allowing friend to stay at No10 last Christmas…

Friend stays at no 10, next thing she is pregnant……. just saying
German state allows ALL businesses to ban unvaxxed customers, even for groceries & other essentials I wonder if this applies to home deliveries.
Did I imagine the ECtHR assert people shouldn’t be forced or coerced into being vaccinated, food is a pretty big incentive!
That means a big opportunity for the retailer who doesn’t ban people. Don’t governments realise that the profit motive drives all businesses and only zealots will maintain bans once their bottom line is impacted.
Hmm I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but perhaps that’s part of the plan. Some say controlled destruction of the economy is required to facilitate chancellor Schawbs great reset, who am I to argue the conspiracy theorists have a pretty good track record of getting it right.
I wrote a longish comment on this topic yesterday. A shop owner went to to court as she wants to apply 2G (injected and recovered only) in her shop as that removes restrictions for her (No masks required, no limit on how many people in the shop). Previously retail was not included in premises which can sign up to this scheme. The court decided on equality grounds, this should apply to shops. So in theory, it does also apply to food retailers. Under other legislation, food retailers have no right to bar a person from entering, unless they turn up shooting a machine gun and intend to shoot everyone in the shop or something similar.

It is interesting to see how Malone’s claims to fame have gradually downgraded from “Inventor of the mRNA vaccine” through “Inventor of the technology underlying the mRNA vaccine” to this:
Malone has been involved in vaccine development for decades, and was among the scientists who developed mRNA technology, which is now used by the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines in the US.
I still can find no evidence he has ever developed a vaccine (involved in vaccine development could mean almost anything). Has anyone got an example?
Was he a guinea pig?
I think so. The experiments he was subjected to were horrific and something went terribly wrong, transforming him into a human man. Not only that, it gave him the ability to submit scientific papers such as this one…
https://www.pnas.org/content/86/16/6077
For which he and Felgner and Verma deserve credit. However, note that it is nothing to do with vaccines (the word “vaccine” doesn’t appear anywhere in the paper) and was published in 1989. It is true that he “was among the scientists who developed mRNA technology”.
Some people like blowing their own trumpet a bit too much. I dunno, but it’s a bit of leap to calling him a charlatan, which is what I think you were driving at?
I’ll settle for blowing his own trumpet a bit too much. More to the point how relevant is his experience to evaluating modern mRNA vaccines?
I’ve just taken a brief look at a couple of his papers, which show he’s been very involved in the delivery mechanisms for gene therapy and NAV vaccines across a number of years, one example…
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1525001600901242
Can’t see that he would just switch off his interest in the last few years
Well if he works on vaccines generally (and he does – he was something to do with US Ebola vaccine response with Merck), and with the regulatory agencies (and he does, he has close links there), and has followed more recent developments in his original field of research then I would say he seems very well qualified to understand the mechanism of action, the risks and the broader context of vaccine development and how it SHOULD be approached by the regulators.
I don’t think he ever claimed to have invented the vaccines? He did some of initial work that enabled their development. And holds patents to that effect.
People claim he claimed to be the inventor, likely to try and discredit him
He still does in some places – from his Linkedin profile:
“Inventor of mRNA vaccines and DNA vaccines; world-wide expert in RNA technologies “
Yes he’s often introduced in interviews as “the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology” etc and never contradicts the interviewer, so I just assumed that was accurate.
Inventor of the technology is a fair claim. Though he was AN inventor of the technology, it’s probably more accurate to say, rather than THE inventor.
Inventor of the actual moderna and Pfizer vaccines is not.
He seems to believe that the mRNA principle was sound but has been badly-botched, because it would take in his estimation 6-7 years to test the current treatments before launching them on the public. After all, coronavirus vaccines without a risk of ADE might be useful if ivermectin, fluvoxamine, HCQ, azithromycin, vitamin D, C and quercetin don’t resolve the condition.
I’m not actually being ironic by listing all of these … maybe there are coronaviruses which would still be a risk to health after using the above treatments.
When the Pig Dictator announced Freedom Day back in July I immediately went out and bought 400 toilet rolls
I have stocked enough food for 12months
If the Pig Dictator announces freedom it would be sensible in my opinion to presume it’s never going to happen
Not panic buying but calculated buying
Its not panic buying, its good sense, if you have the storage, you use the stuff anyway, so why not?Less shopping and its a hedge against inflation.
What about the many who can’t afford to bulk-buy or stock-pile?
Their income gives them no choice but to live hand-to-mouth, week by week.
In March 20 they were left to face empty shelves. They were thin and either severely physically disabled or elderly. They were alone, empty basket in-hand, fruitlessly searching aisle to aisle for something to eat. I saw them and stayed to do what depressingly little I could to help.
I saw collection boxes for food donations left empty during stock-piling.
And those who had stock-piled happily at home with bar-b-ques, eating more or less continuously.
I’ll never forget what I watched happen and couldn’t stop happening. It broke my heart. Please, please don’t do it to them again
Someone shared something on Telegram yesterday, everyone should take £500 out of their account and use only cash to pay for food etc, the money was then not in the bank for them to do their dealings. I sad what a stupid statement, who has £500 in their account they can take out at once?
My pay cheque was spent to the last penny, and I had £250 a month for food.
Something to cheer up a rather dull and overcast day. It’s the BBC, so it must be true!

Africa doesn’t want the evil swine.
Africans clearly have some sense.
You already watched it, so I don’t have to.
