Vaccine Passports to Be Checked at England Rugby Matches
Vaccine passports are alive and well, despite the Government’s scrapping of its plans, with certification set to be required at upcoming England rugby matches. In order to attend, fans will need proof either of having been vaccinated against Covid, of recently testing negative or of recently having recovered from the virus. Given plans to scrap free Covid testing, options available to fans may soon become even more limited. The Telegraph has the story.
The Rugby Football Union announced on Tuesday that the visits of Tonga, Australia and world champions South Africa next month would witness the use of so-called Covid passports.
The fixtures, set to be England’s first in front of a packed Twickenham since last year’s Six Nations, will see spot checks carried out to ensure adults attending are either fully vaccinated, have taken a negative test up to 48 hours earlier, or have natural immunity.
Welcoming back “capacity crowds”, the RFU said: “There will be more checks prior to entry than normal for everyone attending, whether as a fan or here to work. Please arrive early and allow more time than usual to access the stadium.”
England last played in front of a packed Twickenham on March 7th 2020 when they beat Wales 33-30 in a thrilling Six Nations game.
That was the final weekend before the tournament was effectively suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
And it’s not just rugby:
Formula 1 medical driver Alan van der Merwe was on Tuesday night facing being banned from the climax of the season after it emerged he had refused to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
Van der Merwe and anyone else unjabbed who would otherwise travel to a Grand Prix were in danger of being prevented from attending the final three races in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi.
Proof of vaccination is currently required in the former two countries, while it is also expected to be necessary for access to the paddock at the latter race.
That could see some of the hundreds of personnel that normally travel to a Grand Prix banned from attending unless granted an exemption to do so.
That would include any unvaccinated drivers, although a source told Telegraph Sport it was thought all of them had been double-jabbed.
Van der Merwe and F1 doctor Ian Roberts both missed Sunday’s Turkish GP after testing positive for Covid. …
He [said]: “I am fully aware that I will potentially be less employable or that my freedom of movement will be restricted based on my choices.
“That I will not choose convenience over my own health does not mean I am making decisions out of selfishness. We all just want to be healthy.”

I really do wonder about all of this. The world and his wife know that the jabs (however many you might have) don’t stop you getting it and don’t stop you passing it on (wasn’t it shown that, if infected, a jabbed has a 250% higher viral load compared with an unjabbed?).

I think that the key point is that the ‘Vaccine Passport’ lays the groundwork for the Chinese style credit pass and that is the real danger.

Am I a sellout? I’ve been to two music events in the past couple of weeks which required a jab or negative test. Obviously I didn’t bother doing a proper test. I had a brilliant time once I was in. No one gave a fuck, it was as hot, sweaty and druggy as it would have been in 2019. Personally, I’m prepared to game the system to enjoy these things, as long as it doesn’t become jab only.
You made a personal choice. I think it was a mistake but it was your choice. I wouldn’t mind doing a simple test (not a foot long stick stuck up my nose to my blood-brain barrier) if I believed it served some worthwhile purpose for me or the general public. But I think it only serves a few. COVID is another end of life disease not as lethal as cancer or cardio. What’s the CFR? 0.2% or something, average age of death 82 and for that we have accelerated the collapse of the West by several years and made it certain.

I went to a number of them since July 19th and none of them required either a negative test or a certificate of jabbification. Strangely, no enormous Corona-outbreak overwhelming the health system and causing the piling-up dead bodies to to go unburied ocurred. But maybe, that’s just because it was in England and Sars-CoV2 really doesn’t like Tories?
It goes without saying that all of this is utterly futile. I suppose what I’m pondering is whether I’m harming the cause by playing along with these rules. I would draw the line at a venue that insisted on vaccination before it was mandated by government, fwiw.

we have already seen recent reports that they might no longer be free, have to be done over a video link and that you’ll have to get a special code to get one from a pharmacy (presumably so you can be tracked). It will never end unless good people like you take a stand.
It’s certainly not futile. This is obviously another scheme of the (presumably female) mysophobe-in-chief and the (probably male) muslim-in-chief to punish unclean people for going to unclean places to meet other unclean people and do unclean stuff, which is neither supposed nor likely to have any other effect. Hence, its cost most be felt in order to motivate people who can to do something against it.

Not sure about kill off. Certainly have much more controlled so that civil unrest becomes a think of the past.
Just like they have pretty much done with money, in which you are now fully controlled by financial institutions and can only take out as much as they tell you, transfer as much as they tell you, if you do any “unusual” transactions it gets flagged and you have to give all sorts of explanations. This has basically ensured that banks can never go bust. A run on a bank caused by the general public is now a physical impossibility.
The same will happen with social behaviour. It will completely controlled. We will be allowed to do “normal” things. Unusual things will be flagged and we’ll have to provide explanations for our behaviour. Something you write online, a place you visit, people you have been with, whatever. Social unrest of any kind will be a thing of the past.

Totally off topic – My son’s mother has given consent for him to have the ‘vaccine’ without consulting me or my son. Not surprising really given that she is totally sucked in by the whole thing, but I am entitled to a say in this. I have full PR. I have submitted the form too now, refusing consent, so it will be interesting to see how this proceeds. The government are total arseholes – stoking relationship difficulties etc. We were getting on quite well. FFS.
This comes as no surprise. Harlequins were very keen to be included as a testing ground for the Chinese style entry passes. My wife a double “jabbed” RGN just recently contracted covid19 (had a relatively mild case but kept her bedridden for 3 days). Whilst I, as an unvaccinated didn’t & hasn’t had covid19, to the best of my knowledge (probably because i’ve been supplementing d3, zinc & quercetin) she took a rapid antigen test (negative) & pcr (positive).
This just proves the pointlessness of the whole pandemic mitigation measures, but of course we all know vaccine passports aren’t about virus suppression. Vaccines are a personal choice, I personally wouldn’t participate in any medical experiment where treatment is called a “jab”!
Mandatory vaccines have become an ideological religion of the liberal middle-class gaining momentum to this point for decades, I could see this coming & often argued against it way back when the guardian was worth reading back in the early 2000s.
