Covid May No Longer Be “The Most Significant” Threat to Health, Says Head of U.K. Health Security Agency
With talk ramping up about the danger posed by seasonal influenza this winter – especially given the impact lockdowns and social distancing are likely to have had on immunity – the Chief Executive of the U.K. Health Security Agency has acknowledged that Covid is no longer the “most significant” threat to health. The Sunday Telegraph has the story.
[Dr. Jenny Harries] said today that Covid was possibly no more dangerous than flu, as she warned that there would be a lower immunity to the illness this year.
She said: “It is important to remember that for an average flu season it’s about 11,000 deaths a year, it’s somewhere between four (thousand) to 22,000 over the last four to five years.
“So we are starting to move to a situation where, perhaps Covid is not the most significant element, and many of those individuals affected will of course have other comorbidities, which will make them vulnerable to serious illness but other reasons as well.”
It comes as the NHS launched its biggest ever flu vaccination drive amid fears flu deaths could be the worst for 50 years because of lockdowns and social distancing.
More than 35 million people will be offered flu jabs this winter, amid concern that prolonged restrictions on social contact have left Britain with little immunity.
Officials fear that this winter could see up to 60,000 flu deaths – the worst figure in Britain since the 1968 Hong Kong Flu pandemic – without strong uptake of vaccines.
There is also concern about the effectiveness of this year’s jabs, because the lack of flu last year made it harder for scientists to sample the virus and predict the dominant strains.
Meanwhile Dr. Harries added that the dominance of the Delta variant globally has seen other coronavirus variants “become extinct”, but warned we still need to “stay alert”.
“With the dominance of Delta, it does look as though many of the other variants which have been detected are becoming extinct, and a number of variants under investigation have risen slightly, we’ve seen cases, and they’ve become extinct,” she told The Andrew Marr Show.
However she cautioned that it was imperative to “stay alert”, as she said it was “still very early days of a new virus”.

Yes. I guess if the tobacco industry were able to claim there was no causal link between tobacco and cancer for as long as it did, then it will be easier for the far more powerful medical industrial complex to claim a lack of causal link between their jabs and the deaths they are actually causing.
That’s the beauty of the human body, it’s so complex you can attribute a death from illness to pretty much anything you want. The doctor says a person died from x, try proving otherwise. As with all things covid, the truth is whatever the people controlling the media megaphone say it is.
If they’re going to put lockdowns in place it’ll be interesting to see how they “justify” them, seeing as the alleged reason for the predicted flu epidemic is that nobody’s immune due to the previous lockdowns (obviously, the lack of flu deaths last season wasn’t because they called flu deaths covid).

Even with all the deaths erroneously attributed to ‘it’, the highest level I’m aware of covid attaining in all cause mortality lists was 12th and that was for a short period following the introduction of the clotshots. ‘It’ had mainly hovered around the 20th mark. Dr Harries appears to be either delusional, promoted beyond her capabilities or bought and paid for.

The key is active control of symptoms once they start and not just letting things ride without improvement till you end up having to go to A&E (an eventuality however most likely only in the case of the susceptible for extreme age, comorbidities etc). I believe they are scared shitless about ADE and side effects. Every week I plot Scottish deaths, data available on registers of Scotland. At this time of year, for the last 48 years, 900 – 1000 deaths per week in Scotland. For the last few weeks, rate has been 25% higher, ie around 1250 deaths, and it is increasing away from the general background trend. That is MASSIVE. If the trend continues it will be terrifying. Of course they know what’s happening, even if the politicians don’t have the wit to understand a graph those in the stats office and the actuaries will. CEBM has a graph for England, death rate also higher than previous years.
Watch ’em all start tap-dancing in the next couple of weeks, if it wasn’t so feckin’ serious it would be hilarious. The flu jabs will just make it worse, I suspect. With a survival rate of approx 99+% for most healthy people under the age 70/75 it was never a threat to begin with – no more a threat than a severe flu season – and yet I don’t recall being coerced into having the flu jab.
If this pandemic wasn’t manufactured or planned then it must go down as the most colossal mistake in the entire history of the western world. Here we go again: More excuses to roll out more jabs to more people. As I and many others predicted from the start, lockdown, distancing, etc can only cause more problems than it solves in the medium-long run. In a sense everything they do is a coverup in so far as it’s designed to prolong the pandemic and cement their new powers and the idea that there was a deadly pandemic. But they don’t need to make much effort to cover anything up because no one with any power or influence is investigating anything they did from a sceptic perspective- only from the premise that they should have locked down harder, earlier, longer, had more vaxx coercion, executed corona madness more efficiently.
The Big Lie is that COVID was and is an exceptional event requiring exceptional measures, and that respiratory viruses of this nature can be controlled by government fiat. The truth about the first part of the lie – that Covid was exceptional- was established very early on. The truth about the second part- that lockdowns etc work- was always known(witness established pandemic planning) and has been even more conclusively shown since.
Given that we know that every time one of these covifeckwits opens its mouth it’s lying, let me translate.

My wife had the flu jab 15 years ago. A few months later she lost her hair as it impaired her immune system.
She has the same cold, uncaring look that was exhibited by concentration camp commandants.
At the beginning of this shitshow, she was one of the few who seemed sane. Clearly, since then she’s been told to toe the line and has done so.
We know that lockdowns and ‘social distancing’ do not stop the spread of anything, since the main method by which respiratory diseases are contracted is from aerosols which stay suspended in the air of built up environments for lengthy periods of time.
Therefore, any increase in deaths from flu et al this winter will not be due to that factor.

In 1975 there were 1.5 million hospital beds available in the United States; in 2019 there were only 920,000. To make matters worse, hospitals lost an estimated $50 billion a month during lockdowns in 2020.
Begs the question, where is all this funny money going then?
