Fury as Government Green Lights Vaccines for Healthy Kids
Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi said in a House of Commons speech tonight that the vaccination of healthy 12-15 year-olds would go ahead from the beginning of next week – and confirmed that children, not their parents, would have the final say about whether to get jabbed. MailOnline has more.
Mr. Zahawi also reiterated the safety of the vaccine for children, saying the decision to offer the jab to 12 to 15 year-olds had followed advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) and had been “unanimously approved” by the U.K.’s Chief Medical Officers.
“We will now move with the same sense of urgency we’ve had at every point in our vaccination programme,” he added.
It comes as parents, experts and teaching unions today warned of tension in schools after the U.K. signed off on plans to offer Covid jabs to healthy 12 to 15 year-olds – which will see children get the final say on whether they are vaccinated.
Around three million under-16s are due to start getting their jabs from next week after Chris Whitty endorsed the move today, claiming it would help prevent outbreaks in classrooms and further disruptions to education this winter.
Doses will be largely administered through the existing school vaccination programme and parental consent will be sought.
But children will be able to overrule their parents’ decision in the case of a conflict if they are deemed mature and competent enough, which has caused fury.
Angry parents fumed against the move to leave the decision with young children who “can’t even decide what they want for tea, never mind” a vaccine, which carry small risks of side effects such as heart inflammation.
Professor Simon Clarke, a microbiologist at the University of Reading who is in favour of jabbing children, warned that giving youngsters the final say could lead to pupils being bullied by their peers into taking the jab.
He told MailOnline: “It will cause rows I think… You may end up in a situation where a minority, it will probably be the unvaccinated, get bullied and excluded by other children.”
Earlier headteachers revealed they had already received letters from pressure groups threatening legal action if schools take part in an under-16 vaccination programme.
The teachers’ union NAHT demanded urgent reassurance medics will be responsible for concerns about consent and vaccination rather than being left to schools, which could lead to tension with parents.
Children’s rights campaign group Us for Them said it needed a “cast-iron guarantee” from the Government that all parents would get the final say on whether their child is vaccinated.
Professor Whitty revealed today that children will be able to override their parents’ decision if they pass a “competence assessment” by the medical professional charged with administering the vaccine.
Under decades-old medical law used for other routine vaccines, youngsters get the final say if they are judged to have sufficient intelligence to be able to fully understand – and therefore consent to – vaccination.

Doesn’t say much for the degrees he and Reed have if they don’t understand the fraud of mass testing of asymptomatic people using a CT>25 RT-PCR regime. He actually said the reason for a threefold increase in hospitalisations was due to the number of (ergo increased) cases; no mention of increased testing, no mention whether such cases were in the “vaccinated” or “unvaccinated”, infected prior to going in to hospital or acquired IN hospital, age range, incidence of co morbidities….

Children of this age cannot buy a gerbil from a pet shop, but they can consent to something that may kill or maim them, without the agreement of their parents?
I don’t think that this country can stoop much lower, if we allow this.
I always believed children should be treated like children. This is why I don’t like politicians who believe 16 years old should be allowed to vote and politicians who believe children should be allowed to decide their gender.
Once a society gives children more autonomy it leads to the debate of when does a child stop being a child? This is a very slippery slope.
They are allowing it, and they will push, nudge and coerce children with ads, teacher pressure etc.
Everyone against should immediately withdraw children from school. And point out that means a massive drop in tax income for the Government.
The rest of us have to defend and support them by any means possible.

Agreed; as he has been in touch – by his own admission – with the US Intelligence Services since at least, if memory serves me, 1999/2000, “5 Eyes” dictates that UK/Canada/Aus/NZ know about this; however US Intelligence is compromised because “they” were/are implicated in the Patents Dr M lists as potential instigators of some of the research.

I feel so bad for saying this . Chris Witty has no wife and children of his own this is the problem right here . Chris Witty will not be able to understand the concerns parents have about this vaccine being used on their kids because he is not a parent himself.
I am not a parent ( 24 years old) but the way my mum worries about me I will never understand fully until I become a parent myself in the future.
I have no kids, but I have been fighting passionately alongside the parents to warn others about the vax dangers. It’s not because he hasn’t got kids, it’s because, I believe, he’s an evil enabler. Someone who is going along with the psychopaths who control the narrative, carrying out their instructions in the full knowledge of what they are doing is wrong! Shame there weren’t such calls for him to resign when he reversed his formerly relatively sane position on covid, in March 2020.
If the catastrophically incompetent and harmful panic response to covid isn’t cause for wholesale political and medical establishment resignations, I don’t know what could be.

There is no justification for the emergency authorisation of the ‘vaccines’ at all as far as I am concerned, but no one in their right mind can claim there is an emergency in the 12 – 15 year old age group, so how on Earth can this authorisation be extended to this group? My son is 15 years old. I have pleaded with him not to have it. I don’t think he will, but his mother is on the other side of the argument and he lives with her.
There is no emergency. This cannot be allowed to proceed.
The bottom line is no healthy 15 to 17 years old as died from Covid. None.

Given that children have almost zero risk of getting ill and that the mass experimental medication does not seem to reduce spread materially, there can be no real public health justification for this.

I may be wrong, but I cannot remember Gillick competence ever being employed in medical practice outside the contentious field of abortion up to my retirement in 2008, and certainly not in connection with routine vaccinations. Surely we’d have had many headlines about anti-MMR parents in conflict with their children were it so.
This sounds to me like deliberate obfuscation – trying to rewrite history to make it seem as if nothing has changed, whereas in fact a principle that was highly restricted in law – and required a high bar of individual evidence in children nearly always over 15 – has been used as a lever to remove parental responsibility in this (and in the equally contentious gender reassignment trade).

I read some detailed predictions, very early on.
While I didn’t assume they were correct, I didn’t dismiss them, either. Since then, I’ve been mentally ticking off the list!
The bullying won’t just come from peers. The government will place the same restrictions on unvaccinated 12-15 year old as they are on unvaccinated adults, especially around international travel. The pressure on children to get “jabbed” will be immense, and all for the wrong reasons. But it’s good for their mental health, apparently (sarc). Parents should seriously be considering taking their children out of school if they haven’t done so already. The government and education system clearly don’t have our children’s best interests at heart. Indeed, they seem hellbent on destroying their mental and physical well-being and any hopes of a bright future.
God knows what long term effects these Frankenshots will have on young bodies – for zero benefit. Very evil. A sort of child scrifice to the Gods of the New World Order.
