EFL Launches ‘Education Campaign’ to Persuade Footballers to Get ‘Jabbed’
Almost a third of English Football League players have not been – and don’t plan to be – vaccinated against Covid, according to new research. This comes amid reports that the EFL is launching an ‘education campaign’ aimed at getting more footballers ‘jabbed’ and has asked Professor Jonathan Van Tam, England’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer, to take part. The Telegraph has the story.
Telegraph Sport can reveal that the Premier League and EFL have been collecting data this season on the number of footballers in their competitions to have been inoculated against Covid amid mounting fears many are refusing to be immunised, putting themselves, others and the integrity of the game at risk.
Telegraph Sport has been told data collected by the EFL last month shows around 70% of players at its 72 clubs had received at least one dose of vaccine or were intending to get jabbed. …
The EFL findings are largely in line with Government data showing around 70% of 18 to 29 year-olds had received at least one dose of vaccine.
But football wants and needs a much higher rate of take-up among players in order to limit the impact of any Covid outbreak on them and the game itself amid a rising number of cases this season.
Telegraph Sport can disclose that the findings by the EFL have prompted it to launch an education campaign aimed at convincing more footballers to be vaccinated and it has approached Jonathan Van Tam… to be part of that.
As revealed last month, Van Tam addressed the captains of the 20 Premier League clubs on August 2nd as part of a drive to encourage them and their team-mates to get jabbed ahead of the new season.
Van Tam told them they could not “outrun” Covid and he and Premier League medical advisor Mark Gillett addressed some of the myths around vaccination that have been circulating among players and causing some of them to stall.
The precise impact of that meeting is unclear but several managers subsequently admitted not all of their players had been jabbed. …
Telegraph Sport has been told that some EFL clubs would like to impose mandatory vaccinations on footballers – as some businesses have done with their employees – but fear a revolt were they to do so.
The Professional Footballers’ Association has made it clear that, while it supports immunisation efforts, it would not agree to forced jabs.

Be interesting to know the stats on the prof athletes who have died or suffered cardiac problems, or myocarditis, following being jabbed….those whose sports careers have been ended through being double jabbed. Andy Murray did himself no favours pontificating that the tennis players had a duty to set an example and all get jabbed. I’d far prefer the Pat Cash take on it of “I look after my body and I want to be in charge of what goes into it.” Cash went up in my estimation after I read the interview he did with TCW Defending Freedom.
There is absolutely no reason at all to be jabbed when you are an elite sportsman/woman. They need to look at the 23 year old Irish footballer who died 4 days after his jab when they make their decision.

The jabs are a massive failure. 19 members of a sailing club went down after the club hosted a national competition. All sailing club members affected, double jabbed. Six members of the local bowls club down, all double jabbed, four family members in USA down, all double jabbed. Yes, efficacy negligible, possibly nil. So let’s give everyone a booster. Once again no data on efficacy or safety. Does that really matter? If the health authorities say we should have a third jab, it will be given. I honestly think the world has gone mad. If anyone had paid for a product that didn’t work, they would take it back and demand a refund. Unfortunately, this experimental biological is now in your body. Cannot be returned.

I would have thought if you were paying millions in transfer fees that you wouldn’t want to lose an expensive asset which would happen if you double jabbed a fit healthy young footballer and then he died or developed myocarditis as a consequence – you’d think the chairmen of EFL clubs would be thinking of their bottom line and the balance sheet
i find it utterly baffling when I read shit like this why no one says “but the vaccines don’t stop transmission and no one even thinks they do”.
I mean – am I missing something? It’s like everyone is pretending the vaccine does something that they all admit it doesn’t and no one is saying “hang on a minute”. The whole thing has been insane from day one but this in particular – I just don’t get it. It doesn’t stop the spread, everyone knows and admits that, but you have to take it stop the spread. As per usual, twisted COVID logic, it doesn’t stop you from transmitting the virus once you got infected but it’s claimed that it reduces the chance of getting infected.
That’s impossible as immune reactions to infections which don’t exist cannot happen, but it’s simply repeated ad nauseam. A lot of COVID propaganda is just officially sanctioned untruths being repeated until everybody has subconsciously memorized them.
And anything actually true has been rebranded as conspiracy theory. Even if it doesn’t involve a theory or allege a conspiracy.

There is no point asking and re-asking the question. It’s mass psychosis, it’s hard to believe it’s happening to us, but it is and that’s the long and short of it.
That’s exactly how I see things. I simply cannot get my head around the fact that everyone is ignoring the fact (and I mean FACT) that the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission. That was demonstrated by the government’s own ONS / Oxford Uni study published last week. Yet still they are peddling the line that it it helps other people. Trouble is, with such a high % vaccinated, none of them are bothered about arguing the point.
I think you are right – it is a combination of that [they have been vaxxed and cannot consider that they have made a mistake] and the fact that the jab could have messed with their neurological functioning and they are no longer capable of comprehending the arguments. Makes you wonder if that wasn’t an intended consequence of the vaxx programme – get them jabbed before too many people cop on and then resist the whole programme.
Yes – there are days that sometimes I think I might be going quietly mad when I contemplate the utter absurdity of it all. At times I go so far as to question myself, and ask if somehow I have got it wrong and am on the wrong side of the argument, and then I remind myself of people like Dr Peter McCullough and the pathologist Dr Ryan Cole and his presentation and, unless I am much mistaken, I know they ARE on the right side of this argument. It would actually be FAR easier to just go along with the whole thing and not think too much about it all, which is what I think the bulk of the population are doing and hence why they cannot comprehend what they are sleepwalking into.
For any pro footballers needing inspiration, I think it’s worth repeating here the apt, measured and reasonable words of another pro athlete, Dave Leduc:

I saw a spreadsheet a while ago – I think it might have had Moderna’s branding on it – and the vaxx programme they were working on. The plans seemed to lead to a vaxx regime where you’d be getting jabbed maybe 3-4 times per year. Pharma companies make shed load of money and govt gets compliant population. Win Win. Imagine what will happen when governments not only mandate jabs, on pain of exclusion if you do not submit, AND begin to charge you for the privilege.

Somehow they managed to get the football players to take the knee. I guess they also thought they could dupe them into getting the “vaccine”, which would be great propaganda for the masses. But even the football players weren’t completely duped by this mind control programme. And unlike the plebs, they have money and power, so much less leverage. I hope they hold out, for everyone’s sake.

American military are now suing the US gov’t. They simply don’t want the vaxx. Plenty of others including healthcare workers, university of students and other workers many of whom have had Covid, see no point in taking the vaxx.
I expect the sight of Kristian Eriksen collapsing on the pitch with a heart attack and ending his career had quite an impact.

Anyone who is young fit and healthy has probably already got natural immunity, and having the vaccine is an unnecessary risk.
It’s not an education campaign.

Those footballers who refused are the best informed and most educated about the ‘vaccines’.
One aspect is true though: it’s not a level playing field anymore: as the ‘vaccinated’ get sick, die or see their stamina falter, the healthy will thrive and perform ever better on the pitch than them.

Daughter, unvaccinated, notes that whenever a carer in her childcare charity gets a jab, they inevitably end up sick and off work for weeks putting an unnecessary strain on the service they provide…. Unnecessary because they have all been infected (nature of the job) and tested positive before so have natural immunity and the jab puts those with natural immunity at higher risk of adverse effects than the previously uninfected who are jabbed.
