Hundreds of Thousands Have Not Come Forward for Second Jab in England

Most of the media focus on vaccines has centred around the ‘jabbing’ of children in recent weeks, but official data suggests that it is adults the Government should be worrying about given that hundreds of thousands of them have failed to come forward for their second dose. The Guardian has the story.

Experts have repeatedly emphasised the need to receive both doses of the coronavirus vaccines as the second jab greatly increases protection against Covid.

But figures from Public Health England (PHE) suggest take-up of second doses is levelling off in older age groups, and is lower than for first jabs. The data, which extends to August 22nd, also shows take-up of first doses has essentially plateaued in almost all eligible age groups except the very youngest, and falls with age.

While nearly 21.4 million people aged 50 and over in England have had their first dose, just under 19.9 million have had their second – a difference of almost 1,500,000. That’s despite people aged 50-54 being invited for their first jab since March 17th, more than 23 weeks ago. In December, a 12-week gap between doses was recommended, which was cut to eight weeks for those aged 50 and over in May, a move later expanded to all eligible for the jabs.

Some over-50s may only recently have had their first jab and hence not yet be eligible for their second, but the appearance of reluctance to receive second doses is supported by other data.

According to figures from the U.K.’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, about 23.9 million second doses of the AstraZeneca jab had been given in the U.K. as of August 18th. This is far less than the 24.3 million first doses administered by May 26th – 12 weeks earlier – and the 24.5 million first doses given by June 23rd, eight weeks before. As noted by the Independent, this means between 400,000 and 600,000 Britons eligible for a second AstraZeneca jab have yet to come forward. …

Dr. Michael Head, a Senior Research Fellow in Global Health at the University of Southampton, [says] there were probably many reasons behind the figures. “This may include concerns over side-effects and also factors such as having been away on holiday over August or feeling that the second dose isn’t necessary,” he said.

Could it be because of the horrific reactions they had to the first dose that dissuaded them from going through the experience again?

Probably no different to the sudden realisation after the Brexit vote that people hadn’t bothered to find out what they were voting for. Lots of Interweb searching after the vote to find out what they had done.
Given the number of adverse effects and serious injuries in VAERS, Yellow Card, and EudraVigilance, many people who trusted the jabbers word first time around but we’re unwell after the jab probably checked before getting the second.
On the other hand, in my limited experience the jabbers are incompetent record keeps as several relatives and friends had to ask when they could come for the second jab at which point the reply was “second jab? We don’t have a record of your first jab”.

I’ve always assumed the post-Brexit Googling was Remainers desperately trying to get their heads round why so many people wanted to leave the EU – the ignorance of privilege meaning they couldn’t understand what could be wrong with a system in which they were the winners. Now Covid has revealed the full ugliness of globalism I think we can safely say that, as with many things, the leavers were a little better informed and a little ahead of the game.

Is their maths a bit off or is it just me?

The article says “nearly 21.4 million people aged 50 and over in England have had their first dose, just under 19.9 million have had their second – a difference of almost 500,000″.

I calculate that the difference is actually three times as big, ( 21.4 m less 19.9 m is surely ) nearly 1.5 million, who haven’t gone back for their second shot.

I spotted that too. Also the nonsense statement “take-up of second doses is levelling off in older age groups, and is lower than for first jabs.” Pointless comment as it couldn’t possibly be higher than for first jabs could it? Very poor article but good news if more people are waking up to the dangers.

Hi Sam, Thanks for your comment. I’ve only had one person – my neighbour who I see most days – even acknowledge it! However, that might be because of the covering e-mail that accompanied it. I’ll copy the message below in case you decide to send the pdf to people you know and aren’t sure what to say. . . Hi all, This is another of my ’round-robin’ e-mails, so apologies for the generic salutation. Attached is a pdf article I’ve written with the same title as the subject line. It focuses on the government’s decision to vaccinate 16-17 year olds against Covid-19, something I believe is morally and ethically reprehensible. The article explains why. As you all know, I’m not a medical professional or scientist, so I’m not qualified to pontificate about the merits – or otherwise – of vaccinating children. I’m merely a conduit to those that are, whose voices have been censored, cancelled and silenced. I’m akin to the dad in the late 80s AA ad’ who says to his son when asked if he can fix their car: “not this time, but I know a man who can.” Please note: the pdf comes with a warning. If your world view – particularly regarding the pandemic – is shaped mainly by mainstream media, then what I write… Read more »

Good luck and don’t expect to turn anybody around on the spot, that will be very rare. The facts are on our side so we tend to argue with facts, but the other side argues with rhetoric, a mixture of smears and unrepresentative anecdote that’s extremely effective when used on “average” people. Just exposing them to ideas not reported in the heavily censored media, if you can, is a great start.

SSJ, I get your drift in spades; difficulty is that “this” is very multifaceted; I am no conspiracy theorist – not convinced of the coordinated cabal of GAVI/Schwab/BMGF/CBDC – but am sure the WHO is being worked from behind by CCP and of the involvement of the US/Big Pharma/China in the bigger picture.

So the following is not short but it is devastating:

The Cormen-Drosten RT PCR scam (their process using Kary Mullis’s PCR, not the PCR invention itself) is demolished in this:

ILLA The PCR Disaster Genesis and Evolution of the »Drosten Test«

I feel there is no quick fix reference point (with respect to other suggestions), but I have gained some in depth insight from watching Drs Peter McCullough and Ryan Cole, as with Jefferey Jansen and Del Bigtree – The Highwire.com.

A friend and his wife have been put off having the second dose after hearing about some serious side effects in people they know. One of these people had a blood clot followed by a heart attack within hours of his second shot. To my mind taking this so-called vaccination is akin to engaging in Russian roulette.

Incidentally, I have been browsing the VAERS listing of deaths in the USA following the ‘vaccination.’ I looked at the first 100 of the 13,627 listed. The people concerned ranged in ages from 39-104, with 30% below 70 and almost half below 80. Over half of deaths occurred within 1 day, 70% within 2 days. What hit me was the thought that if one wanted to send elderly people on their way, this was the perfect ‘hidden’ method to use!

Reply to  milesahead

I’d venture to guess that even the figure of 1.5 million is a vast under reporting of the actual number of people who haven’t had the 2nd jab. The mainstream media exist to present a version of reality which is dictated by their financiers, in this case big pharma. I’d venture a further guess that the number of people who have been jabbed at all (first or both) is also wildly inflated in order to present the narrative that public confidence in the government/jab agenda is high, in order to persuade anyone who is guided by ‘media consensus’ into submitting to the experiment. I probably know more people at this point who have shunned the jab compared with those who have had it, and I regularly engage with people in public who are equally distrustful of the government and the fast unraveling narrative and have also decided to keep their natural immune systems intact. I’ve also spoken to people who have had the first jab and declined the second due to either ‘mild’ side effects (prolonged numbness/tingling in arm with notable loss of mobility seems to be common) or due to knowing someone who has suffered severe side effects and… Read more »

In my limited circle literally every single person who has been double-jabbed (which is most of them) have said they will not take any boosters. The general feeling was that they knew they didn’t need it but that it was a way to end lockdowns and get on with their lives. Now they know that was just another lie they seem unhappy about it.

Also I think the facts of the adverse reactions are causing hesitation – interestingly it’s not the reports of deaths and injuries that seems to worry them, it’s the clumsy and obvious censorship that makes them wonder if there’s more to it. Perhaps, like a good horror film, when the monster is hidden it’s more scary. I actually think if the government was more honest about the side effects it would make people less nervous of the jab than not knowing what is being hidden but just knowing that something is

Maybe because it doesn’t stop you getting it or passing it on. Maybe it’s because boosters are on the cards, and people are realising they’ll never actually be “fully vaccinated”. Maybe, it’s because people are finally understanding that there are potentially serious side effects and possible death from these vaccines. Maybe it’s because they now understand that their children are going to be vaccinated, for a disease that barely affects them, to “protect” OTHER people! Just a few guesses…

Interesting story in today’s Mail by a journalist double jabbed, last shot in June, who got Delta with nasty symptoms given her age. So protection lasts weeks – if that. Likewise official numbers of vaccinated individuals encourages more to get their poison arrows. 90% of adults vaccinated you say? Oo I better get ‘mine’ then. Baaaaaaaaaaaa.

Some suggest the real number of vaccinated adults in the UK is around 60%.

YouGov and the 71%ers…(check out The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters a few weeks ago on that if you don’t get the joke). The problem is that the government and media readily massage the figures to say whatever they need to. Even taking the ONS figures on the ‘Gov dashboard’ at face value, it means that about 78% of over 16s have been double vaccinated. As this doesn’t include the children younger than 16, the figure for % of the total official population* is likely to be nearer to 70%. * that figure of 68M is from the official 2011 census, plus births, known (official) legal migration into the UK, minus deaths and migration out of the UK. About 5 years ago (if I recall) Tescos estimated that they were ‘feeding’ a population of nearer 80M people, which would account for all the illegal immigration, especially since Blair opened the doors in the early 2000s. Given that the numbers of illegal immigrants getting vaccinated would be very low (given they don’t want to be caught and deported, plus migrants general distrust of authority and ‘vaccination’ campaigns [often from experiences in their country of origin]), then 60% of the REAL NUMBER… Read more »

Most of the articles about serious/terminal side effects only surfaced in sufficient numbers in the mainstream media around May/June – well after people under 50 had got their first jabs. Many older people had in fact died as a result of bad reactions but such cases were seemingly glossed over as ‘well, they’re oldies and would’ve likely died anyway this year’ by doctors and the MSM. Odd how when we say that (including causal links to being locked down and unable to see GPs/get treatment for existing/new ailments unrelated to COVID) about many ‘COVD’ deaths of older people, they say it’s rubbish. My parents (in their late 70s), for example, take a good number of medications generally, and have had several significant side effects to them, resulting in them having to change to alternative medications or come off them completely. You have to wonder how much the interraction with other medications has had and will have an effect on certain people – ironically those who already are in vulnerable categories. Similarly whether large numbers of ‘COVID deaths’ in the last 6 months or so were listed as such to cover up the fact they they were fully vaccinated people from… Read more »

Not surprising, given what people (eventually) find out about the waning effectiveness of them and the increasing, often unreported number of serious side effects, especially in those under 40. That and that many people – especially younger people, originally believed the government propaganda that implied that these vaccines were tested and safe, when they were licenced under emergency rules and will not be tested for longer term side effects until at least the end of 2022, which has likely been a artificially shortened period compared to most medicines (even commonly used ones), which take between 5-10 years, because some side effects can take ages to develop/show. I also see that Gove has been reported in today’s Bidengraph, ahem, I mean Telegraph, as raving all night in bonny Scotland, sans-face mask, getting close up and personal with other ravers at an Aberdeen nightclub. Given the ‘experts’ have said that being doubled jabbed does not make much difference in terms of transmission and obviously doesn’t guarantee you can’t get it, is this then yet another episode of ‘Do as I say, not as I do’, and ‘One rule for the rich and powerful, one for the rest of us’?
