Australia is Falling Apart
We’re publishing an original essay today by historian Guy de la Bédoyère, a regular contributor, about the possibility that Australia may actually break apart as a result of its political leaders’ hopeless mismanagement of the coronavirus crisis. Having gone all in on the disastrous zero-Covid approach, its political class – and public health establishment – has had no choice but to implement more and more draconian lockdown measures, destroying the economy, alienating the business community and transforming working class citizens into seriously pissed-off dissidents. Can the country survive? Probably, but whole scale political collapse is a possibility that shouldn’t be dismissed out of hand. Here is an extract:
My fear though is that Australia, of all the developed modern democratic states, has set out down a path that could in extremis result in the country breaking apart. Let’s not beat about the bush (a more appropriate term for Australia than anywhere else). This is a country that already teeters on the brink of viability. Natural disasters have the potential to destroy large swathes of Australia’s agriculture on a permanent basis. The country has never developed industry to a level that could serve it properly, preferring to rely on selling natural resources to China to make into things that get sent back to Australia. The national infrastructure is ramshackle. It was already the case that the individual states are more interested in their own futures than the country’s. That’s especially evident in WA, marginalised by Australian national politics.
Australia is to some extent only a nation in name. Western Australia, one of the least populous states, is also the largest. Apart from air travel, it is connected to the rest of Australia by a few scrappy roads, easily taken out by a single cyclone, and one railway. For years its colossal mineral resources have bankrolled the country’s wealth. That has caused no end of frustration to Western Australia which benefits less than most states from any federal handouts. Few Australians from the rest of the country ever bother with going to WA. There is little love lost between WA and the eastern states.
There is therefore an incipient sense of nationalism in Western Australia. It’s no more than a conceit at the moment, but Covid is accelerating the sense of frustration. Only now is the federal Government getting it together with the vaccine rollout and desperately trying to roll back the terrible mess it’s made. The chaotic response exhibited until recently has not been Australia’s finest honour. The fiasco has ridden on the back of the zero-Covid fantasy, a Land-That-Might-Have-Been.
Worth reading in full.

Australia’s shame!
Moment armed cops in full PPE pull Covid-infected ‘public health enemy number 1’ from his lair after two weeks on the run – and as his mask fogs up from COUGHING he declares: ‘I have proof I’ve been isolating the whole time’
A scene from The Prisoner, or from Terry Gilliam’s Brazil? No, Australian bedwetters arresting a man for going outside with a cold (repost, but more apt here):
This was posted yesterday by TheyLiveAndWeLockdown – it might look laughable but it’s as serious as it gets. The actions of the authorities are not driven by fear – they are generating fear and the treatment of this poor guy is being used to scare others.
Can we stop calling these evil people bedwetters?
That is straight from GOV.UK ..SAGE. (22nd March 2020)
‘Options for increasing adherence to social distancing measures’..
Persuasion.
2.Perceived threat..A substantial etc…
This is hardly news. I was discussing it online April or May last year, and a bestselling book was written about it, basically (Dodsworth, A State of Fear).
Assumptions about individual human motivation are always necessarily speculative – all we know for sure is that many are clearly motivated by fear (bedwetters) and some, most likely, by manipulative evil ulterior motives. But the tools of the regime are as likely to be the former as the latter, and contempt is as good a weapon as any against them.
Hardly news because this was right at the beginning of the shower of shit.
Those officials dragging that guy away are operating under orders from above. They’re not doing this because they’re scared.
“Hardly news because this was right at the beginning of the shower of shit.”
And widely known, certainly here, more than a year ago.
“Those officials dragging that guy away are operating under orders from above. They’re not doing this because they’re scared.”
Security force operatives are just tools of the regime. While the regime still has popular credibility (as ours and certainly the Australian regime certainly still do), it’s not unusual for the security force tools to believe in the Official Truth and the regime dogmas.
Doubtless, as you say, those individuals are obeying orders. But most likely they also believe there is a dangerous pandemic out there that they and their government are nobly defending against.
That’s just the way human life works. We may eventually reach a point at which most of the security forces (here and in Australia) doubt or disbelieve what they are told by the authorities. We’re probably closer to that here than in Australia, but still a long way from it.
Bedwetters ar lockdown victims, people who’ve fallen for the fear propaganda and are being harmed by it, what lockdown enforcers are is coronazis.
So terrible.
This sort of wildly disproportionate brutality, tyranny and dehumanisation is shaming Australia in the eyes of the world, Not that their politicians care of course. I wonder how many millions of yankee dollars they have taken from Gates et al to go full fascist. They must be excessively rich by now with all the money greasing their grubby little hands.
Australia is now just another state of China, and Australian politicians do as they are told.
Australians will now always be looked upon with disdain, as a bunch of cowards who did nothing against their tyrannical government.
Not every Australian is a coward, large numbers went to thsoe protests and they are clearly brave. They just need to make the mental leap of realising they are no longer in a democracy where vocal protest works on the media dn opinion level, they need to start thinking about how to undermine the “Kim Jong Dan” regime at the practical level.
I do not, by the way, think that the UK is quite at the post-democracy situaton yet. it has been earlier on, and it will be if they try another lockdown or start enforcing their vaccine passport plans, but in the abscence of either of those family friendly vocal protests are the best option here at present. Australia, France and quite a few other places though need to stop thinking protest and start thinking overthrow.
Come visit Australia… inmates welcome!

Now the inhabitants are prisoners ! They don’t need more, in fact they would not accept them !
The data on the effect of the vaccinations on transmission is incredibly weak. Given that 90% of the UK has been vaccinated, and yet we still have high case loads, it would seem that vaccination to eliminate transmission isn’t quite working out as expected. I’m surprised at the lack of analysis of this clear trend.
If the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission, then how can Aus reopen?
“I’m surprised at the lack of analysis of this clear trend.”
Really? It fits totally into the contradictory perpetuation of ‘The Narrative’.
The (essentially admitted) failure of the vaccine and its reputed success make nonsense – but,of course, the incompatibility and irrational nature of the two halves make perfect sense in terms of propaganda. And – remember – most people can’t find their own arses with both hands in terms of rational thinking.
This is the realm of the White Queen, where ‘six impossible things’ can be imagined before dinner.
The data on the effect of the vaccinations on transmission is incredibly weak.
The “vaccine” makers said from the outset that there was no evidence that they would stop transmission, so it seems they got something right. A good question might well be whether it is the “vaccines” that are now the main source of Covid-19, whatever that really is.
And the leaflets issued to potential users by the NHS did not claim that it would. I have the paper leaflet issued to me in March. It was the usual political suspects who pretended that they would do that. A typical charlatan operation.
That the vaccines don’t stop transmission and covid will spread in Australia is going to be a difficult thing for them to overcome given all the fear.
Very few people are dying in the current outbreak in New South Wales compared with the outbreak in Victoria last year. There could be many reasons for this: perhaps the vaccines are working in the vulnerable age group, the Delta variant could be weaker, treatment is better, they’re doing better at keeping it out of nursing homes, they’re classifying deaths differently (more honestly). Who knows? But if the death rate and hospitalisations can be kept down transmission doesn’t matter.
It’s like reading an essay from a time warp; your focus on vaccination rates takes us back 12 months. Regardless of vaccination rates the risk from covid for anyone under 65 is negligable. Go about your daily business and vaccinate, isolate the elderly and sick. have you not learnt anything. Moaning about a bad vaccine rollout is completely the wrong focus. No lockdowns and no emergency laws should be the focus for all democracies.
I was thinking that too. Australia seems to be a long way behind the rest of the world in terms of understanding what the results of excessive vaccination are – for example the piece here about Israel finding that natural immunity is better than that from the vaccine. You would have thought someone in the Australian government would have spotted that.
It’s like living on two different planets. I pay scant attention to the ‘leaders’ here because their message hasn’t changed much. Then I visit TDS or Gab and get the news from the rest of the world. I wonder: are Australia’s politicians stupid? Are they blind? Do they think we are incapable of using the internet? Because every damn word that comes out of their mouths is false and more of us every day are realising that.
Yet the politicians in Australia get away with it, as do the politicians and members of SAGE in the UK. Not a single one of these people who have terrorised their nations have been brought to account.
Anyway, September approaches, and there’s a lot of kids to jab – start sharpening those needles!
One good point is that the flow of people from “regime beleiving” to “lockdown sceptic” always exists, but nobdy ever switches the other way. People who fall for the propaganda may yet awaken, especially as the regime’s intrusion keeps getting more intolerable, but nobdy who has awakened to the truth that lockdowns don’t work and covid is tolerable is ever going to go back to beleiving the regime.
“Right now in Australia Covid is starting to drift out of control. The reality that Delta cannot be restrained without turning every house into a prison cell is just starting to sink in. It means the core justification of the measures, the utopia of zero-Covid, cannot be attained. Ever.” This is the key point. At that point, Australians have to confront the fact that the entire policy was foolish and misguided from the start. If the authorities back down, some will just meekly accept the official line, which will undoubtedly be that: “we did our best, we just didn’t have enough information, our intentions were good, and if it hadn’t been for those pesky evil antivaxxers and mask non-wearers, we might have gotten away with it”. The only real hope is that the state in some places doesn’t back down until enough pressure and momentum builds for real violent resistance and a popular overthrow of the regime, with a full, honest and open application of “victor’s justice” to the perpetrators of the panic response, by people not implicated and complicit in it. Australia seems the main (albeit still remote) hope for that atm. It would require the regime to double… Read more »
“the dominant totalitarian elite left”
Out with the battered old suitcase stuffed full of naive political crap. A sort of ideological dyspraxia.
Yet again.
”the dominant totalitarian elite that entirely coincidently are of the left”
that better?
Yes.
Incontinent playground abuse instead of either reasoned response or decorous silence. A sort of political Tourette’s.
Yet again.
He doesn’t mean politically lefty, he means “left” as in “left behind after the non-fanatical have fled”
I’m going to say this. What virus? What Variant? All fabricated. We have a strong flu. Australia is in political and economic meltdown and let’s hope the truckers start their revolution this weekend to bring Australia to a halt. I think that will elevate the people into joining them.
The Australian regime will definitely double down further, the only question is whether enough people will rebel then, and what type of rebellion can be geuinely effective.
and on top of all that is the risk of blood clots….
if you never get covid you have a zero risk of blood clots (from covid) which is infinitely lower than the risk of clots from the jab,
if you gat jabbed you have a risk of blood clots,
if you have covid there is an alleged risk of blood clots which doubles if you are jabbed either before or after the infection,
if you have a booster your clot risk trebles from the original infection risk,
if you have a another booster your clot risk quadruples from the original infection risk,
etc, etc….
no thanks – stay safe
I wonder if, each time you take a booster, your chances of ADE increase, increasing your risk of blood clots even more…
no thanks
Me neither.
That’s what’s going to provide the interest this autumn.
Do you think the internment camps will be called “Aussie-chwitz?” Maybe they’ll put a banner over the top that says “Science macht frei”.
“Scientism macht frie”. I still believe in science, just not in all the practitioners and hangers-on.
Well… “Arbeit macht frei”. Work also sets you free, just not the kind of “work” the nazis had in mind. Same here. Science also sets you free, but not the kind of “science” these fascists have in mind.
Nazis and lockdownists both find new ways to define “work” and “science”. They also redefine all our other terms of reference “sanity” “courage”… to make themselves unable to appreciate rational argument.
I should think this is highly likely. The Australian scum of society (the politicians) would most certainly be proud of such a show of allegiance to their mentor – Mein Fuhrer Adolf Hitler – The other concentration camps (sorry ‘resilience centres’) are already in the process of being built.
A useful pair of slogans for any Australian you can contact and encourage to put up some banners at night.
Poor taste. I deplore the Australian ‘government’ actions but this isn’t remotely comparable.
I’m fairly certain that on the day Auschwitz opened it too wasn’t remotely comparable to what it later became. It’s too late to wait until tragedies happen in order to draw comparison to lessons from the past. We must learn from history and point out when people are taking the same paths to disaster, even if some may find it distasteful.
What I find in poor taste is defending the same types of policies that led to Auschwitz and other such hellish places, all because we’re not there yet.
You are being utterly ridiculous and are comparing apples to bricks!
Respectfully, you should be ashamed of your extraordinary lack of perspective (‘PPE’ ‘graduate’ perchance? Or perhaps dance studies at the Uni of Western Nowhere?)
I have now flagged your original comment for its utterly grotesque comparison of the Australian government action to the Holocaust.
(I repeat: I agree the Aussie government have absolutely been behaving appallingly.)
Btw your first sentence in this post is just embarrassing.
I’m fairly certain that on the day Auschwitz opened it too wasn’t remotely comparable to what it later became.
Comparing even just the beginning of Auschwitz with pretty much anything, never mind the non-death-camp-dressed-up-as-something-else actions of the Aussie government, is risible.
Unfortunately for you, I choose not to forget why 6 million Jews were brutally murdered. I choose not to forget that it was an authoritarian regime that crushed down its own people under metal wheels. A regime who decided to blame Jews for all that was wrong in society. I choose not to forget that it started with assigning blame, then incarcerating them, then marking them for all to see, and it ended in genocide, one of the most shameful atrocity to ever mark humanity’s face. I choose to not close my eyes when another authoritarian government is blaming its people for all the wrongs in society, it’s crushing them with their abuse of power, and it’s getting ready to incarcerate the “others” in prison camps.
When does it stop being a disgraceful comparison to you? When there are internment camps filled with people who have had their rights forcibly removed? When the pariahs are tattooed and marked? When the genocide starts? After it ends? Where exactly does it stop being a disgraceful comparison to you and it becomes a warning from the past? When it’s already too late?
Excellent.
Sadly true.
Your problem is your inability to see the bigger picture.
The Holocaust Survivors Association has recently written to the MHRA and the European Drug Agency demanding that vaccination be stopped.
They have seen quite clearly where this is headed.
Open your eyes.
You’re right, today it isn’t comparable, but if it isn’t resisted it will end up going that far.
This post, as usual from Monsieur de Bedoyere misses the point.
This is not about a mythical disease C1984. The chaos in Ozz is deliberate. Talk about “vaccines” is utter garbage because these injections are designed to kill and maim.
Ramp up the fear, tighten restrictions, all done to enforce compliance. When sufficient have been injected it’s time for the passports and when this has gone pretty much worldwide it will be time to collapse the world financial systems and replace with Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
That’s the goal because then it’s
GOTCHA!
Slave society.
“You will own nothing and be happy.”
If the snake oils are designed to kill and maim, they’re doing a bloody bad job. Almost all the recipients are alive and kicking.
The point is that the snake oils won’t get rid of covid.Ever.
Quite agree, if the vaccine had a sinister purpose aspects of it would be clear by now. It’s not that it can’t sometimes have bad side effects, it is not that it is never ineffective against covid, but the problems wiht it are by cockup and rushed work rather than evil design. Vaccine passes though, which have nothing to do with vaccines in practice, are a work of planned evil.
Really? So you know the long-term effects? And in the shorter-term, ADE isn’t likely to become obvious until the late autumn and early winter.
Let’s just see what happens over the next twelve months although I fear we will be more than aware by next March.
The “snake oils” were never intended to “get rid of Covid.”
Your research is rather skin deep.
Only now is the federal Government getting it together with the vaccine rollout and desperately trying to roll back the terrible mess it’s made.
Oh yes, that should work.
yes, when stuck down a hole – keep digging down
Yes, we know this is the best way to go since Bozo says so! (Was it over HS2?)
We visited family in WA in early 2019 they said WA has a lot of resentment in bank rolling the rest of Australia with their natural resources. They expressed disdain over the way folks in WA are seen by the rest of Australia. I can foresee WA looking to become a separate nation.
And what of the political tensions in the US, does anyone who knows more about that think some of the republican states may look for independence?
“And what of the political tensions in the US, does anyone who knows more about that think some of the republican states may look for independence?”
Lot of people talking about it but anyone with anything to lose has to be very careful not to be seen as encouraging it, which would be portrayed as anti-American. Bear in mind they fought a civil war over the issue and established by brute force that the independent states who signed up to a supposedly voluntary union weren’t actually allowed ever to leave that union.
If the wokeist Dems keep pushing, secession seems the only possible alternative to a descent into dystopian tyranny. But secession probably would probably mean civil war. On the other hand, when they make peaceful dissent and resistance impossible, the alternatives are all unpleasant. Dangerous stuff.
I came to Perth from Melbourne in 1991. I’ve heard all about the referendum when WA voted to secede… it happened about ninety years ago.
Independence for Western Australia is like an Australian republic. Lots and lots of talk. Enough hot air to fill several dozen zeppelins.
And the bankrolling of the eastern states will only last until China’s iron ore developments in Africa are producing. Once they’ve got their private supply WA can GFI (however they may say that in Mandarin).
Zeppelins need Hydrogen, not hot air, hydrogen by the way is something Australia could have done quite well with, and profted from exporting (big desert full of solar panels for cheap electricity to split water) had they not let corruption, likely China backed corruption, deter them from those plans.
I think they concluded that Helium was preferable…
I have to say that the USA looks to me to be in even more danger than the land of Oz. On which topic, if you have a strong stomach, you may be interested in JP’s listing of Biden’s 17 greatest achievements!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq_wELID80c
At what point will Toby et al, drop the ‘mismanagement’ bollocks? It is very noticeable that nothing gets reported here about the ongoing developments around the care-home deaths last year. Thousands upon thousands of people were given life-ending drugs after being kicked out of hospital (within a window of 2 hours) were then, in the words of Hancock, given a “good death” with a lethal injection of Midazolam.
It was on the back of all those deaths that we were thrown in to lockdown. Wouldn’t you think that a website that was built on the objection to lockdown would report on this?
Are you sure: it sometimes looks as if TY just wants more funds.
It was on the back of all those deaths that we were thrown in to lockdown. Wouldn’t you think that a website that was built on the objection to lockdown would report on this?
There’s scepticism and then there’s daily scepticism.
If anyone is reading this today – on Radio 4 at 2.15pm there is the start of a dramatised series called Nurenberg. The script is entirely lifted from testimony, cross examination, eye witnesses and TPTB. It might be worth listening to as it is highly relevant to what is happening now I believe.
Wasnt this the plan. To be rid of the central governments of all countries and working on a mayoral type of leadership dictated to by a global regime
https://www.ukcolumn.org/index.php/article/mayors-usurping-nation-states-quest-fight-climate-change
UK Column has some excellent pieces on just the topic you raised. I have posted this link as an example.
ps.
I’m chuffed to mintballs – I’ve posted a link. Whoopee!
Interesting. Personally, I think the UK has a decent climate and don’t see why we should be paying way over the odds to change it. Another big fat global lie.
What we should be doing though is reducing our dependence on fuels coming from corrupt regimes (Russian gas, Chinese coal, Saudi oil…), so we’d do well to switch to hydrogen for vehicles, and nuclear and renewables for grid power. Whether climate change would become a big problem or not it makes sense to decarbonise because this also decreases dependence on corrupt countries. But that makes it all the more crucial to decarbonise, at whatever rate is feasible rather than to arbitraray unphysical* deadlines which governments demand, in ways which are not socially disruptive, not authoritarian, and don’t make us dependent on other resources from corrupt countries (China owns most of the Lithium mines, even though a lot are not in China, so we don’t want battery cars).
*the longer we leave it the worse climate change could get, but there is no fundamental cut-off, 10 years, 20, 30, it gets trickier but not vastly so. XR’s “10 years to save the planet” is a pure lie.
Who downvoted this then, a Chinese commie party agent who wants us dependent on their Lithium batteries and coal fields? A Saudi oil baron fresh from butchering a journalist who wants us to keep paying him so he can buy weapons to drop on Yemen? A Russian troll with a keyboard in one hand and the “gas shut off” valve in the other?
I did for one and my reasons why are set out above.
Your understanding of this subject is on a par with zero carbon i.e. Zero.
CO2 makes up 0.04% of the earth’s atmosphere and without it life on earth would cease to exist. The planet has actually become greener and more fertile these last 100 years owing to a slight increase in atmospheric CO2.
Hydrogen as a fuel is impossible. It’s BS.
Excellent piece in yesterday’s Spiked on just this subject which will correct your misunderstandings.
“The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels” by Alex Epstein. It’s a cracker.
Irony of ironies; if there are any Climate Change adherents here present who eschew meat as an essential protein, would it not be great to see if they “know” that the leaf salad, greens and peppers they consume regularly ( as I do ) may very well have had the magic growth treatment – higher concentration of the “worst atmospheric pollutant” – to “grow bigger better”…or if they knew that crop yields according to “official” figures appear to be at record levels.
Bit like the XR founder being exposed as “Hypocrite of the week”, following the leadership of Ashok Sharma, as a diesel aficionado out of choice.
Very happy to be the “Mirror of Publicity” facilitator of these massively inconvenient truths.
Thank you for your considered comments.
I was aware that C02 is blown into hothouses to improve yields / speed growth. Your input will be useful because the climate scam will really take off after their Glasgow knees-up.
The “Truckies” in Australia are planning a massive takedown of the country starting in a few days. Hats off to them.
I can’t wait for them to start. That’s the spirit – act in unison and together and the Australian citizens will join them.
Hope says maybe you’re right. Experience and observation advises against putting money on it.
At the moment, all the signs seem to suggest the regime still has majority support, and certainly the active belief and support of the security forces, media, courts. In these circumstances the stage is set for some very brutal confrontations, but sadly not the kind of mass popular uprising required to sweep away the zero covid idiocracy.
The position of the aforementioned covd idiocracy is now so delusional and removed from reality that one would be tempted to think that they can’t possibly retain that support for long. But I’d have said that about the UK a year ago, and I was wrong then.
The test will be the federal election next year. Liberal and Labor have joined forces this week to pass a bill aimed at crushing smaller parties.
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/aug/24/labor-to-back-electoral-reforms-that-could-deregister-dozens-of-minor-parties
All part of the “making peaceful dissent and resistance impossible”, that I mentioned above wrt the US.
From what I’ve read in the reddit Australian forums most Australians seem to be very keen on getting ‘vaccinated’ and getting their Blue Peter badge from it to show their moronic friends.
Strange, then, that the protests are all about refusing the vaccine and not demanding faster access.
For a balance to Reddit, go to Sky News Australia’s page on youtube. Put the items about Joe Biden aside; they’re still giving him the shellacking he deserves. On the local scene though they’ve turned into another government shill. And the comments reflect the disgust of the viewers.
I’ve heard that bikies will be on the job too. Cops are going to have a VERY interesting day.
Perhaps the UK could offer them heavily subsidised flights to the UK plus British citizenship. I seem to remember some sort of scheme like that 50 years ago or so!
Only to the aussies who are protesting though, we don’t want any of them who are “too closely descended from the prison guards” in the cultural sense to be bringing that kind of thinking here.
If enough work together they could win. A government will soon collapse without logistics services. But the problem is still the one always affecting popualr resistance, how to get enough people to take the individual risks of standing up which can only pay off once a critical mass of people stand up too.
It can usually work only if the military get on board.
Senator Malcolm Roberts said in Parliament recently that the justice system – courts, cops, jails too I suppose – can accommodate a hundred thousand people. Beyond that the system can’t cope. We may not be there yet, but the numbers are rising.
In a democracy overflowing the justice system with protests designed to “get arrested” may work… Australia is no longer a democracy, protesters need to be aiming to undermine the system entirely, not merely overflow its procedures of so-called justice. The regime can meet any attempt at the latter with makeshift jails, perhaps a fenced compound in the outback with all the hostages chained to poles bound hand and foot and fed through tubes (no need for large numbers of guards and heavy walls if the victims can’t move), and even more brutal less investigative enforcement (ordinarily it might take 5 cops to take someone in for trial and gather evidence for a trial, but one armed thug in a uniform can take several hostages to a makeshift jail).
What are they waiting for?
WA will have a very happy supporter if it decides to secede from the SCT , the ‘C’ in that more accurate description of ‘australia’.
NB in financial ‘circles’ SCT= South China Territories
What an excellent essay. Thank you for this.
I should say Australia has been falling for a LONG time, look at all the crimes they’ve inflicted on their people in the name of “lawful” interception of communications and forcing manufacturers to build backdoors in to devices.
“But the pandemic has created, and been allowed to create, destabilising circumstances”
It is not the pandemic which has done this, it is the over-reaction to the pandemic. If we had ignored covid, or never been aware of it, 2020 would just have gone down in history as a bad flu season that came weirdly in the spring, and 2020-21’s winter as a bad flu season but not exceptionally so.
explains alot – nothings changed then – I guess our lot are just as corrupt, if not more so….
oops, wrong place
“regulatory capture” is the word, Yes Minister explained how the department for education represents teachers not children…
It would be wonderful if there rebellion and regime change. But it isn’t going to happen. Not in Australia. Not in the UK. Not anywhere.
We are 6 months behind Australia. FIGHT. BACK. BETTER. Template letters, information, resources, positive news and useful links: https://www.LCAHub.org/
It may not start in Australia but it is a reasonable bet that one country in the world is going to find its Government toppled. How about France? Once one goes down others will be dominoes. To me it seems likely that people will realise the truth about the vaccines and that will push the people into rebellion. Another series of lockdowns in Europe could do it. Governments are playing with fire in seeking to create dictatorships with no democratic oversight as in the UK and France.
The parallels with Canada are quite amazing, notably, a country where the West is alienated from the east and where the East relies on Western natural resources. Add in the French factor and a hopelessly woke PM, Justin Trudeau, and you have a second strong candidate for a national fracture.
The Qantas news is interesting as they are so connected to the inner sanctum of the aussie gov.
In the new totalitarian davos world this is sadly just a virtual carrot dangled to make you think if i just get the experimental vax i can go back to the old world. The risk is worth it as all this will go away. But given the UK experience, double vaxxed were going to be free to travel but the reality is different given the myriad of ever changing and complex rules.
There needs to be a clean sweep and all those promoting this new normal need to be kicked out of government, and hopefully jailed, but at least stripped of power. Oz has the chance in the election to send a message but i fear like the uk its too late.
Rubbish. Elections?
Every damn politician has been bought. There will be no relief via the electoral system, neither in Ozz or here.
Australia isn’t falling apart, like the rest of the West it is being deliberately ripped asunder. A combination of inept and fully corrupted politicians and technocrats supported by a bureaucracy mainly unaffected by the societal and economic devastation they are wreaking. They create nothing of value, they make nothing and serve nothing but themselves. It is impossible to know for sure what has driven this, but it does look more as if it has being deliberately set in motion. A theory being that the whole financial system was ready to implode again, this time for good. The last one was bailed out but it can’t be done again. So now we have the Great Reset. A remodeling of the planet as a “Green New Deal” with the same narcissistic assholes as the beneficiaries. It’s time for a great reset alright, but not the one these people are after. A great start would be the destruction of the corporate structure. Globocap as CJ Hopkins calls it. That legal entity is responsible for pretty much every negative on the planet in the last 60 years, maybe more. They are more powerful than governments. They now own or at the very least control… Read more »
I have been saying this since last year but you make the case powerfully.
Sadly, few realise the seriousness of the situation even here.
Could be a similar situation in Canada. It seems that the ‘Ottawan elite’, for want of a better term, manifested in the ‘black face’ premier Trudeau, are detached from much of the rest of Canada. Apparently there is a movement, nicknamed Wexit, in the western states to separate from the Union ! (Rebel News, who are very anti-lockdown, seem to be supporters). How widespread and popular this is I don’t know. I don’t the situation now, but Newfoundland was a colony independent of Canada during the days of the Empire and only joined the Confederation of Canada in 1949 after a controversial ‘second referendum’ (worth looking at. Wonder if Labour was looking at this after a certain referendum in the UK!).
Perhaps the only difference between Oz’s future and Mad Max is that the the gas guzzling V8s of the film will be electric !
Good article. The only thing that seems to be eluding the author is the simple fact that in Australia, like in dozens and dozens of other jurisdictions, the current rise in cases conspicuously coincides with the vaccine rollout.
Telegraph has been diligent and busy now for several days.. not allowing any comments where people might be critical of the pig dictator.. no stories about Boris Kemal the pig dictator.. and I read in the telegraph comment sections reports from subscribers that their comments are being deleted.
