More Than 220,000 Under-18s in England Have Already Been ‘Jabbed’
As the debate on the vaccination of children against Covid hots up, it has been revealed that nearly a quarter of a million under-18s in England have been ‘jabbed’ already. The Evening Standard has the story.
Across the nation 223,755 under-18s have received a first dose, according to NHS data to July 25th.
The figures come as it emerged that the offer of a vaccine is expected to be extended to include all 16 and 17 year-olds.
In June, Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi announced that a number of under-18s would be eligible for the jab if they had certain health conditions, lived with someone who is immunocompromised, or were approaching their 18th birthday.
He said at the time that the vaccine experts who advise the Government, the JCVI, did not currently recommend that children should be routinely given the jab, but that the matter was being kept under constant review.
However, the PA news agency has learned that some clinics have already begun vaccinating 16 year-olds at walk-up appointments, provided that they attend with their parent or guardian.
NHS data shows that 79,616 children have had both doses.

More detail would be good. However, it seems that the adverse effects are largely independent of age as the slopes of the attached charts since mid-April show. Note that this is adverse reactions per day. As the jab rate is rolling off, the rate per person is increasing slightly.
It does seem that COVID deaths are age dependent and Jab deaths and harm are if anything more concentrated in the fit and healthy!
Think of all the sports drop outs and that pitch heart attack in particular.
As you are the only person I know who is collecting deaths data over time, could you do a chart showing deaths/jab? (Or even better make your deaths data available in a form where someone else can draw the chart e.g. CSV file.)

What is the point of vaccinating people who live with an immunocomprised person when the vaccines are effective against preventing serious illness and death, but not effective at preventing infection or onward transmission? Does the Vaccines Minister actually understand what the vaccines his portfolio covers can do, and what they can not?
This isn’t about health – at the very least, it’s about the imposition of a social credit system using ‘vaccine passports’ as a backdoor method of imposing digital ID.
At worst? Well, I think we all know what that is.
The great thing about our political system is our ability to form parties and, parliamentary sovereignty. Nothing can’t be undone, and anyone can be voted out.

To answer your question, if we keep hypothesising dark, nebulous political motivations to every turn of events, we will alienate large swathes of the population, be easily brushed off by those we want to hold to account and end up talking to ourselves. Sorry, it appears the reduced infectiousness figure was a misrepresentation of the study quoted in German press! The study only indicates that INFECTIONS of vaccinated are 3 times lower than unvaccinated. It does not explicitly conclude that the non-infected (i.e. negative-tested) vaccinated cannot spread the virus still.

Statistically the largest segment for sure. Covid is slightly more deadly than flu in the young but not sure it merits this response.

I don’t have a source directly to hand but the age-banded stats I have seen are that covid is a bit more dangerous than flu overall but skews very heavily towards being dangerous towards the old and those with specific other conditions, and that flu is more dangerous for the young than covid.

I decided to delete the GB News app off my device last week after watching what can only be described as a train wreck of an interview of Laurence Fox. Fox’s crime was to oppose the unlicensed ‘vaccine’ which has killed one and half thousand people – and undoubtedly many, many more.
Child presenter Tom Harwood literally shouted a torrent of mistruths about the ‘vaccine’ while accusing a shocked-looking Laurence Fox of the same thing. If I recall correctly, Tom claimed the ‘vaccine’ has passed all its trials; he claimed it is proven to save lives; he claimed it actually does fit the definition of a vaccine.
I’d already grown sick of their fanatical pro-‘vaccine’ propaganda but this was the last straw for me. Besides, the channel has quickly morphed into what can only be described as a Sky News/BBC News hybrid with a few deliberately controversial [nationalistic] opinions being spouted just to look different.
Andrew Neil has exposed himself to be exactly what I also thought him to be: fake opposition.

Well, yes, Tom Harwood is an appalling, slightly right-of-centre version of Owen Jones and is certainly best ignored. There are however a reasonable number of better presenters on GB News – which is more than one can say of BBC or Sky!
How soon will the government’s ”offer” to 16 and 17 year olds turn into a threat? What will the unvaccinated kids be denied? 6th form? College? Apprenticeships? Driving lessons?
