Italians to Require Covid “Green Passes” to Get Into Restaurants, Gyms and Theatres
Italy is set to join the growing list of countries preventing their unvaccinated citizens from living their lives as normal ‘after’ lockdown.
From next month, Italians will need a Covid ‘Green Pass’ showing proof of vaccination against the virus or negative tests to be allowed into restaurants, gyms, museums, movie theatres and more so as to assure those who are vaccinated that “they won’t be next to contagious people”. The MailOnline has the story.
Premier Mario Draghi’s Government approved a decree on Thursday ordering the use of the so-called Green Passes starting on August 6th.
To be eligible for a pass, individuals must prove they have received at least one vaccine dose in the last nine months, recovered from Covid in the last six months or tested negative in the previous 48 hours.
The passes will be needed to dine at tables inside restaurants or cafes, to attend sports events, town fairs and conferences, and to enter casinos, bingo parlours and pools, among other activities. according to officials.
The certification is needed to “to keep economic activity open” and will allow people to enjoy entertainment “with the assurance they won’t be next to contagious people”, Draghi said.
“The Italian economy is going well. It’s reviving, and Italy is growing at a rhythm superior to that of other EU nations,” the Premier told reporters.
Some 40 million people in Italy have already downloaded a Green Pass, Health Minister Roberto Speranza said.
He noted that the certification is already required to attend wedding receptions and to visit residents of care homes.
However, some have protested against the use of the Green Pass, with people taking to the streets of Turin on Thursday night to protest its use. …
So far, 45.8% of people in Italy have been fully vaccinated. In comparison, 53.9% of people in the U.K. have received two jabs, as have 53.6% of people in Spain, 47.6% of people in Germany and 43.5% in France.

At least they decided to call them “green passes” straight away to leave us in no doubt as to what they are really all about.
That’s why they needed a ‘safe pair of hands’ like Draghi brought back into government. All scripted.
Captain, we’re fast approaching the event horizon; I don’t think the engines have enough power to steer away.
One has to wonder how justifying a decision with an outright lie (refering to unvaccinated as “contagious” — what are they supposed to spread, unvaccination?) and implying that vaccinated people cannot get COVID-19 is going to work in practice.
Even when accepting this, IOW, believing that Saiid Javid doesn’t exist, why were the vaccinated people vaccinated to begin with if the state must still keep them away from contagious people for their own safety?
Doesn’t it feel somehow silly to allow someone who insists that this absolutely isn’t good for anything to stick a needle in one’s arm? Is this for the amusement of the vaccinators or what?
So this is to reassure the v’d “they won’t be next to contagious people” 🤔 But, but, but…if you’re v’d you’re protected…aren’t you? Oh, hang on… aren’t the v’d the spreaders now? We’re definitely not in Kansas any more.

Here in the province of Ontario, Canada, the premier has said they won’t introduce vaccine passports, however, like everything else they’ve said over the last 18 months, they’ve flip-flopped so I fully expect they will introduce them in the near future.
The politicians are getting pretty bold. Eventually (and unfortunately) they will have to be put back in their place.
Why not today? Eventually is too far off.

The Spanish Flu took somewhere between 20 and 100million people, most estimates are around 50million. Then the world population was around 2 billion.
So a bit of simple arithmetic and I see somewhere between 80 and 400 million deaths if a “Spanish Flu” struck today.

Off topic but most people have never heard of the Suffragists but have heard of the Suffragettes. The difference being the Suffragists used peaceful protest and the Suffragettes used violent protest.

Before Israel, Irelands first politicians were all members of the IRA and today members of the IRA are in Stormont.
Peaceful protest gets you nowhere.
I think when all peaceful channels are closed to you then it’s true, some people will decide that there is only one option. People say violent protest doesn’t work but actually there are far more historical examples of violence achieving political goals than non-violence.
The scamdemic is about depopulation and they have a body bag for each and every one of us. Resisting the cull will almost certainly require something other than peaceful protests.

We need a ‘Safe Pass’ to go anywhere here (in Cyprus) – shops, bars restaurants, Pharmacy, etc. You literally can’t leave home without your ‘Safe Pass’ and ID.
As an aside, Mrs. CyprusGrump flew back to the UK on Saturday.
She had a negative PCR test on the 15th, flew on the 17th, had a positive ‘Day #2 Test’ on the 19th and a negative ‘Day #5 Test’ on the 22nd…

Why allow people in to gyms last year if it was so dangerous. How does a vaxx pass prevent spread? How does it stop anything?
What we will see is the true scale of covid = nothing to worry about. They will praise gene therapy, lockdowns and the totalitarian vaxx pass for it all.
