“Restrictions to end as fears of summer wave end”.
But they’re not ruling out Winter restrictions. Why? This shambles must never happen again
“Government caved in to UEFA”.
UEFA? Landsakes, no wonder they give in to SAGE! If I need to “man up”, I’m not the only one! When are they going to show some leadership? And they have no excuse. (Or was Sepp Blatter right about FIFA ruling the world?)
… but it’s not really UEFA. There’s big money behind it.
“I believe in science”?
It seems to me it means “I agree with those nice people at the CIA who assure us that anything that goes against the official narrative is a conspiracy theory, and never mind if millions of lives are being wrecked, don’t ask questions, just trust the ‘experts’ “.
Declaration of interests: I bloody hate football. I hate the pseudo-religious awe that surrounds it. I hate the fact that when I’m out here and someone asks me where I’m from (to which, in all honesty, I could reply “Lesser Uzbekistan” and it would make no difference to the trajectory of the conversation) and I make the mistake of saying “mumble mumble England…. mumble mumble Northum – I mean, um, near Newcastle”, this person who is otherwise unable to string a syllable together will light up and say something like “Ah, good team once upon a time, I well remember the season of 1498/99 and the visionary play of Umberto Wallaby-Toothbrush, that guy could really set fire to the penalty box” and I’m nodding and smiling and saying “Um, it’s left here, actually… THERE you missed it”… So I neither know nor care what’s happening in whatever competition is currently on. Except I note the Scots burned down Leicester Square, so clearly football is accomplishing its usual splendid cultural role of bringing idiots together in the joy of wanton idiocy (“oh, they aren’t REAL fans, REAL socialism has never been tried, you know!”). So yeah. Declaration of interests. But surely… Read more »
Won’t declare an interest but…
It’s alright, the virus is a football fan!
And more seriously, millions of people have been denied seeing their loved ones, causing unimaginable distress, for no good reason, whilst the elite go on their jollies. Quite abominable what is being done.
And to carry on the (Northeast) football theme, we might as well have monkey hangers running the country as this bunch of crooks.
Ha, this strikes a chord as a fellow Northumbrian whose school days were made somewhat more difficult by having no interest in football whatsoever.
Re the UEFA thing, I think this and the G7 insult are actually very helpful in making people see what a nonsense it all is and getting them angry about it.
You would think – but my experience is that people just shrug their shoulders and accept it
Anyone else here hate Football? That’s four of us so far (and I include just about any sport for good measure).
I’ll come in as a late convert.
Played football (recreationally) and watched it for five decades, but the double disaster of stupid lockdown measures and evil knee-taking political lecturing (the pinnacle of decades of abusing the sport for political manipulation) has finally killed it for me.
I’ve had no interest in it this past year, for the first time in my life.
Exactly the case with myself also……unpleasant, virtue signalling, millionaires, totally detached from the real world that some of them used to belong to.
I’d rather take a shite than watch football.
And for clarity…..I frequently do!!
At school they decided to use me as one of the goalposts as I was so clearly useless at it. My hate has continued ever since.
It was probably outside left for me; think I only ever wore the boots once.
Fortunately the school must have tolerated dissidents on the quiet – every year this kid the PE teacher barely knew got ‘Satisfactory’ for Games.
“Anyone else here hate Football?” Professional football, yes. It’s absurd.
I don’t hate it – but have negative interest in it. I’m actually happy to see crowds in sporting stadiums, however. It’s a reminder of how sociopathic this whole thing has been.
Everyone to their own thing – just don’t stick it in my face.
Can’t say I hate it, I just ignore it
True sport lost its way when it moved from the back pages to headlines on the front page.
I actually quite like football the game. Football the entity – the players, the fans, the press, the culture etc is awful.
I honestly hope that this UEFA debacle wakes some people up when they’re not even allowed to go and watch their own child’s sports day, but to be honest I’ve thought that before and people really are that dumb/afraid/brain-washed that they just lap it up and then beg for even more guidance on how to live.
I’ve always thought it would be something football or pub related which would snap a lot of people out of the hypnotic trance they are currently in. Then watch the fun begin. Could this UEFA nonsense be the catalyst for mass defiance?
26th of June anyone?
G7 ‘barbecue’? can’t see the hypocrisy there ? no? OK. French open curfew overridden because men’s semi final was at very interesting stage and fans told to exit might have rioted? still no? Right then – Euro 2020 and lots of people can’t go on holiday or travel to see family abroad but 2500 UEFA big wigs can come in to the UK without quarantining, while school children across the UK are being expected to self-isolate with their education disrupted? Can you see it now?? Still no?
Sorry then – there is no help for you. Keep wearing the mask. Keep social distancing. Keep letting the government dictate how you live your life while they do whatever they want and laugh at you.
Stuffing Duterte. The man who had a shoot on sight policy for druggies is now threatening forcible injection with drugs.
France had a heck of a turn-around as well didn’t they? Turns out that after all, face coverings are de rigueur.
Oh, Xi Jinping is seeking a third term? I wonder if he’ll win! I’m sure with the inspiring “Build Back Better” programme starting to take off, he’ll win a landslide. China is doing that, right? Decommissioning all its coal-fired power stations, stopping dumping plastic in the East China Sea, embracing diversity with its ethnic minorities? Surely Greta Thunberg and David Attenborough would have been all over them if they hadn’t?
Oh yes, absolutely.
And coming soon – an Extinction Rebellion protest outside the Chinese embassy. Maybe.
“Lockdown has pushed families to starvation”.
All part of the plan apparently (see “End Game” review, The White Rose)
As I say, the Nazis starved children, and these are crimes against humanity. Seems there are some evil people behind this..

Watch to the end but be warned it is difficult to watch this https://twitter.com/c400_t/status/1406895828317261827 Man with broken neck facing possible paralysis refused treatment by NHS doctors because he doesn’t want to submit to being violated and injured by a PCR test swab (presumably because the swabs are carcinogenic, there is a risk of damage to the delicate tissue in the nasal cavity of course the whole PCR testing regime is an evil criminal fraudulent gravy train for leeches on society like Matt Hancock). This is where we are at. I don’t know how carcinogenic the swabs are, but regardless it’s totally legitimate to just refuse a medical test/treatment because you don’t want it. Not even necessary to give a reason. Nuremberg and all that.
Yes. We need to emphasize the basics more, rather than focus on minor details like the theoretical carcinogenic nature of swabs.
That ethical framework was put in place for a reason, and this virus has not altered those reasons one iota. Even a genuine plague would have to push hard for temporary suspension.
Any in the medical profession who thinks this has changed need reminding of their duty of care, and to be put firmly back in their box.
What is your problem RickH? The swabs come with inserts which state they are sterilised with ETHYLENE OXIDE which is a Class 1 Carcinogen. There’s no theoretical about it. If that doesn’t register in your brain as a problem, fine, but for those of us who use our brains beyond what you are conditioned to accept, it’s a BIG PROBLEM. I know C19 is a nothing burger and there is no justification for doing these tests on any level in the first place, I know PCR is a flawed piece of crap test which cannot diagnose disease or infectivity and that it is only being used as a newly created gold rush for invested players like Matt Hancock, I know the results are being manipulated and the test itself misused to generate terror about a not very lethal virus at best, I know this all plays a part as a conditioning exercise to prep people for the biosecurity state. Unless you have a valid point and the evidence to back it up, please don’t troll my comments with your unwanted, unhelpful, not even factual slurs and misdirection. This took me a second to find. PCR test kit – EO health… Read more »
“What is your problem RickH?”
No problem – just a sense of proportion. The presence of a small amount of carcinogenic material in a swab is not a real issue. It’s parallel to the myths about the carcinogenic effects of eating bacon – minute absolute risk. Lots of substances that we come across are potentially carcinogenic – in some quantity.
I made the comment because I feel that the rational case has to be that – rational and focused.
(I speak as one who has battled my right not to be tested – but on substantive grounds)
The mask and test mandates violated the unalienable individual right of bodily autonomy.
This and they were deliberately introduced first, for just this purpose: to establish the acceptance of that breach of rights and the replacement of that principle with the one of utilitarianism.
Anything can now be justified and pursued under that new principle.
Some of us saw exactly why this was introduced, that it was not ‘just a mask/test’ and where this set precedent would lead to.
Which was and is the real reason for those mandates strict enforcement and for our villification anf censorship etc..
Yes absolutely, most excellent point. Someone lunging at me with a swab/mask/needle against my will and better judgement has always seemed “rapey” to me but you’ve put it much more eloquently!
They are sprayed with ETHYLENE OXIDE for one which is a Class 1 Carcinogen. This is written in plain English on the inserts that come with the tests. There was also a report that they are made from tough fibres which are very damaging to the delicate tissue in the nasal cavity.
I’m not saying your wrong. I’m just saying in the grand scheme of things I’m not that bothered since all you have to do is JUST SAY NO.
There’s tonnes of stuff we voluntarily expose ourselves to that we know is carcinogenic but we weigh the risks up and take it. Bacon, alcohol, sunbathing, living in a city, smoking.
If people want their screening swabs then more fool them for playing along with the whole charade – like you say it’s written on the packet, not a secret! There’d be no testing at all if people just stopped consenting.
If you refer back to the original post in this thread – a video of a man in hospital being told by NHS doctors they will not treat his broken neck unless he takes a test – you will see that “just saying no” in the NHS means they will tell you and your broken neck to eff off. That is outrageous and immoral and a very bad marker for where we are in this country
Retired constable Mark Sexton who recently reported the Dishonourable Nadhim Zahawi and several criminals/terrorists working in Parliament as ministers against the interests of the people of this country to the police for very serious offences in public office released a statement declaring the findings of Slovakian research which has stated that Lithium and Hydrogel have been found on the test swabs, as well as the Ethylene Oxide.

The problem is that these are Twitter clips – but the comments by Malone and Hodgkinson are very much to the point.
Again – the basics : “This is not an emergency”
What is wrong with you? When do you EVER post anything useful and informative, backed up by actual evidence? What video host do you consider acceptable – BBC?
Nothing wrong with me. I actually post a lot of stuff about evidence.
If you weren’t so far up your own arse, you’d have noticed that I made two points in agreement about the Malone and Hodgkinson clips – but highlighting the fact that Twitter is a flawed vehicle, given its Big Tech censorship tendencies and social media flaws. It thus can undermine rather than enhance credibility, whatever the validity of the content – a fairly uncontroversial observation for anyone with a head in the fresh air.
I concluded with a statement from the Hodkinson clip that is the ansolute foundation pillar of the rational case.
You seem like the drunk walking into Wetherspoons and picking a fight with the fruit machine. I suggest a look in the mirror might answer your opening question.
So evidence of corruption at the highest level in the form of a video of Matt Hancock declaring a blatant conflict of interest is of no concern – because the link is from twitter? Forced vaccinations being performed in the name of this insidious agenda is of no concern – because the video evidence is hosted on twitter? A Canadian politician completely sidestepping a question about ivermectin in the most transparently disingenuous way is not relevant – because the video clip is from twitter? A Brit being told he can get lost in an NHS hospital because he refuses to take a carcinogenic test is not valid because the video is hosted on twitter? You’re a typical narrow-minded Brit, or something more nefarious from you know where.
Have you thought of seeking therapy for this sort of strange need to fly off the handle in a state of paranoia?
No you are dismissing the content of the clips on the basis that they are hosted on twitter. That’s just dumb and pedantic. You are judging the book by its cover. Who f***ing cares which platform the clip is hosted on? Why is it important? If the content is good, and relevant, why does it matter that it’s on twitter? Despite your BS proclamations, they’re not censoring the clips I have posted are they? You’re talking about censorship, but imo from experience of actually using it Twitter is an amazing resource for knowledge sharing. The best, I would say, for one because you can access the personal accounts of so many interesting people. It can be a bit toxic for sure, but I have shared links on twitter with no issue at all that have got me jailed on FB. Seems you’re talking about something you know nothing about, based not on fact, but your own preconceptions. Facebook is WAY more draconian. If there is good content on twitter or FB or YT or Rumble or Bitchute……why does the host matter? You are a typical narrow minded Brit. I read a lot of your comments on here, speaking down at… Read more »

Did other sceptics see the lastest “know all” expert rolled out on C4 news last night?
This humourless excuse for a human being was literally “wetting herself” with glee when she described how Israel stopped the mandatory wearing of masks because of the success of the vaccination rollout only to bring back mask wearing because of a “rise” of infections.
I can only imagine. I had to stop watching C4 news many years ago.
Literally wetting herself?
Puddle visible under her chair?
Too much information, Annie.
Not literally literally, obviously. Figuratively literally.
Surely it must be Why Tyler.
Well I have to say I’m cheered by the Times report, even if it does turn out to be a temporary respite. I wonder how many face masks they’ve had in the post at Downing Street, and whether that’s helped them along the way.. Assuming it does happen, it will be interesting to see what proportion of people will continue to wear the damn things.
‘Covid outbreak at care home where every resident vaccinated’ Umm ADE possibly? Oh no sorry its the injection evading Delta variant.
Apparently they are all asymptomatic so presumably had they not all been tested we would be none the wiser. Why are care homes where all have been jabbed being tested anyway?
Because THEY know that the jab doesn’t work.
Unless it was the magic jab that kept them all asymptomatic, eh? Lo and behold, a miracle!
How charmingly naïve to believe that a few permissions will be granted to us based on actual reality.
That hasn’t been the case for well over a year. What’s different now?
The Dwarf from the North has already let slip that “level 0” will still mean muzzles. That’s the new normal, forever, until we can be “liberated” by our social credit score apps.
Muzzle, or digital papers, serf: it’s your “choice”.
Removal of mask mandate on 19th July just feels like more gaslighting. That’s all the Telegraph does these days.
Greet Leader Nicola has already let slip that the Scotch New Normal will mean muzzles forever, even at “level 0”. I imagine that’s the Davos line that they’ll all toe, she’s just blabbed about it early.
“as fears of a big summer wave fade“
What “fears of a big summer wave”? Only among the congenitally stupid or credulous, or the wllfully ignorant, perhaps.
true
That is correct, of course, but in truth the catastrophic costs and evil precedents of lockdown pale into insignificance next to the policy of mass coercive vaccination – and I say that as someone who has no principled objection to vaccination per se.
Not sure if this link about airline pilot vaccination programs and pilot deaths has been highlighted here before

“New South Wales Covid update: New Zealand suspends travel bubble as Victoria shuts border to parts of Sydney” – The Guardian reports that New Zealand has suspended its quarantine free travel with New South Wales after health officials confirmed that a positive case had made the trip over the weekend Honestly, it would be so nice to be able to laugh properly at the pathetic fear-filled antics of the Aussies and NZers over this seasonal respiratory virus, without the shame of knowing that our own nation’s elites, and indeed people, are every bit as ridiculous. Once, I firmly believe, we were the kind of nation that would have resisted this mass panic. We were human beings, susceptible to panic and hysteria like any others, but we had institutions and structures that imposed restraint, checks and balances, and controls, alongside independent-minded, well educated people in key positions, all of which served as conservative brakes on radicalism. Perhaps more important, those people were raised in a culture that despised showing or acting on fear, that did not pretend that fearfulness was somehow admirable and dress it up as “caring” or “responsibility”, that believed in carrying on through weakness and illness to get the job… Read more »
The exemption for the corrupt elite of footballing is emblematic of the process and objectives here. This has not been about a virus since April last year, it is about exploiting fear, enabling the concentration not just of power, but of CONTROL, it is an international conspiracy by the rich and powerful to impose a permanent state corporatist reshaping onto the world – AKA the Great Reset – and I defy anyone to explain the evidence we have accumulated these past 16 months and explain it in any other way.
The muppets in Downing St may not all be conspirators, but it is the conspirators who are in charge.
“Kenwyn Care Home in Truro is closed to visitors following an outbreak of COVID-19. According to Cornwall Live, all residents and 94% of the staff are fully vaccinated and every single case has been asymptomatic so far”.
So not really an outbreak, more likely a series of duff tests with a useless test kit that the US recommends binning.
we’ve never done this amount of cold testing before
maybe with normal colds you get it once with a few symptoms and then get it again without
who knows
Yes, I’ve been wondering what we’d find if scientists attempted to track the progress of any seasonal cold the way medical authorities have been attempting to track Kung Flu.
We heard all this ‘no reason Freedom Day won’t happen’ in June. Expect a big SAGE pushback and Johnson to crumble once the officials and hangers on from Euro 2020 have departed in mid-July. .

My bet is i) it’ll happen, and ii) everybody except the 5% who already don’t comply will continue wearing masks in shops and on transport so they look like good caring people. That language about personal responsibility is a sure-fire setup for replacing government coercion with social enforcement. Not to mention office, school soft pressure. Fine. But I actually hate the gaslighty soft pressure tactics as much as straightforward compulsion. It’s easier to rebel against state compulsion that polite soft social pressure.
During one of my infrequent traws of the MSM to see what the sheep are being fed, found this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-57564335
As you would expect, even the headline has the stink of dishonesty about it; reading the article you find that 36% of the public, “trust most of the news, most of the time”, (up from 28% in January).
Even so, 36% (if true), is extremely dispiriting; after all the obvious lies, still that many people switch on the telly and generously gobble up the tripe they’re fed?
Incredible……but yet another reason that propaganda so easily achieves its purpose….most of the public now have the critical thinking skills of a goldfish.
I think it’s quite encouraging. It implies 64% don’t trust most of the news, most of the time. Right now, I’ll take that.
Even the 64% who say they ‘don’t trust the news’ may, in large part, be influenced by the comprehensive propaganda stream. It’s a bit like those who say they want politicians to be honest and incorruptible , and then vote for Johnson – well up the list for the award of ‘the most dishonest politician to cross the threshold of Downing Street’.
And the nature of that propaganda stream is pretty unique. It is all-embracing, and, even given the skills and the will, the average Joe has a massive task on to get behind its facade. A lot of the effect will be subliminal.
I think 64% is accurate for general stuff, but people trust the COVID lies more because they are so big and so global.
Are you a ‘glass half empty’ type of person by any chance?
I’d call it simple observation.
No, why?
Aah Cattee, i see what you are saying. Thank’s for the gentle mockery; reminds me not to take myself too seriously 🙂
I don’t know anyone that trusts the news, so to find that 36% do, “most of the time” is dispiriting. I don’t think the article says, but I suspect the remaining 64% don’t “mistrust” the news, a chunk of them may trust it “some of the time” for example.
Whether 36% disapoints, or encourages, depends on personal expectations i suppose……can I apologise to all readers who have injured themselves rolling about on the floor laughing, due to the fact I thought the figure would have been much closer to zero.
There’s been a sudden flurry of newspaper hype about restrictions, including wearing masks, being dropped next month.
While I am extremely pessimistic about this and believe it will be another deliberate false dawn to crush spirit, I worry that the only reason the government would be prepared to lift restrictions is when they make ‘vaccine’ mandatory.
Madcock has openly admitted, without a single sign of protest, that those who’ve been jabbed will receive preferential NHS treatment – a hint at social credit vaxports.
We have to be careful not to be blind-sighted by the promise of freedom while the social credit system is implemented.
“England is on track to lift all remaining lockdown restrictions on July 19th, according to the Times, replacing them with personal responsibility as fears of a big summer wave fade”
I think many of us have the same thoughts – that this is but a prelude to pressing the button again as winter respiratory disease begins its usual growth in the autumn.
And if July – why not now? There’s absolutely no rationale. Actually, Johnson could play a clever, if deceptive, game by pulling the date back again. I could write the propaganda script. I have a nasty feeling that the perpetrators will get an undeserved bounce from the relief of the Masseskin.
Even if face masks were no longer required, you can bet that some people would continue to wear them “just in case”.
My mother has a friend in her late 70’s/ early 80’s who has worn a face mask all through this year and most of last. She has asthma and must carry an inhaler. I have pointed out that she is medically exempt and not required to wear a mask, but she is so afraid that she continues to wear one. She is having breathing difficulties, dizzy spells and wheezes a lot, but will not drop the damn mask!
With that sort of mentality, I very much fear that masks will not disappear quickly.
I think in the main those that will continue are the people who choose to mask up outside. In my experience, 10-15%.
Let’s hope so.
It will enable us to point at them and make them uncomfortable for wearing one, just like they have done with mask refuseniks.
Ferguson
Looking ahead, he warns the country does need to be prepared for “potentially quite a significant flu epidemic probably late this year, early next year”.
he just can’t help himself
That will be ADE now to be known as flu.
