“Government caved in to UEFA”.

UEFA? Landsakes, no wonder they give in to SAGE! If I need to “man up”, I’m not the only one! When are they going to show some leadership? And they have no excuse. (Or was Sepp Blatter right about FIFA ruling the world?)

Declaration of interests: I bloody hate football. I hate the pseudo-religious awe that surrounds it. I hate the fact that when I’m out here and someone asks me where I’m from (to which, in all honesty, I could reply “Lesser Uzbekistan” and it would make no difference to the trajectory of the conversation) and I make the mistake of saying “mumble mumble England…. mumble mumble Northum – I mean, um, near Newcastle”, this person who is otherwise unable to string a syllable together will light up and say something like “Ah, good team once upon a time, I well remember the season of 1498/99 and the visionary play of Umberto Wallaby-Toothbrush, that guy could really set fire to the penalty box” and I’m nodding and smiling and saying “Um, it’s left here, actually… THERE you missed it”… So I neither know nor care what’s happening in whatever competition is currently on. Except I note the Scots burned down Leicester Square, so clearly football is accomplishing its usual splendid cultural role of bringing idiots together in the joy of wanton idiocy (“oh, they aren’t REAL fans, REAL socialism has never been tried, you know!”). So yeah. Declaration of interests. But surely… Read more »

Won’t declare an interest but…

It’s alright, the virus is a football fan!

And more seriously, millions of people have been denied seeing their loved ones, causing unimaginable distress, for no good reason, whilst the elite go on their jollies. Quite abominable what is being done.

And to carry on the (Northeast) football theme, we might as well have monkey hangers running the country as this bunch of crooks.

Ha, this strikes a chord as a fellow Northumbrian whose school days were made somewhat more difficult by having no interest in football whatsoever.

Re the UEFA thing, I think this and the G7 insult are actually very helpful in making people see what a nonsense it all is and getting them angry about it.

I’ll come in as a late convert.

Played football (recreationally) and watched it for five decades, but the double disaster of stupid lockdown measures and evil knee-taking political lecturing (the pinnacle of decades of abusing the sport for political manipulation) has finally killed it for me.

I’ve had no interest in it this past year, for the first time in my life.

I actually quite like football the game. Football the entity – the players, the fans, the press, the culture etc is awful.

I honestly hope that this UEFA debacle wakes some people up when they’re not even allowed to go and watch their own child’s sports day, but to be honest I’ve thought that before and people really are that dumb/afraid/brain-washed that they just lap it up and then beg for even more guidance on how to live.

G7 ‘barbecue’? can’t see the hypocrisy there ? no? OK. French open curfew overridden because men’s semi final was at very interesting stage and fans told to exit might have rioted? still no? Right then – Euro 2020 and lots of people can’t go on holiday or travel to see family abroad but 2500 UEFA big wigs can come in to the UK without quarantining, while school children across the UK are being expected to self-isolate with their education disrupted? Can you see it now?? Still no?

Sorry then – there is no help for you. Keep wearing the mask. Keep social distancing. Keep letting the government dictate how you live your life while they do whatever they want and laugh at you.

I don’t know how carcinogenic the swabs are, but regardless it’s totally legitimate to just refuse a medical test/treatment because you don’t want it. Not even necessary to give a reason. Nuremberg and all that.

RickH

Yes. We need to emphasize the basics more, rather than focus on minor details like the theoretical carcinogenic nature of swabs.

That ethical framework was put in place for a reason, and this virus has not altered those reasons one iota. Even a genuine plague would have to push hard for temporary suspension.

Any in the medical profession who thinks this has changed need reminding of their duty of care, and to be put firmly back in their box.

What is your problem RickH? The swabs come with inserts which state they are sterilised with ETHYLENE OXIDE which is a Class 1 Carcinogen. There’s no theoretical about it. If that doesn’t register in your brain as a problem, fine, but for those of us who use our brains beyond what you are conditioned to accept, it’s a BIG PROBLEM. I know C19 is a nothing burger and there is no justification for doing these tests on any level in the first place, I know PCR is a flawed piece of crap test which cannot diagnose disease or infectivity and that it is only being used as a newly created gold rush for invested players like Matt Hancock, I know the results are being manipulated and the test itself misused to generate terror about a not very lethal virus at best, I know this all plays a part as a conditioning exercise to prep people for the biosecurity state. “What is your problem RickH?”

No problem – just a sense of proportion. The presence of a small amount of carcinogenic material in a swab is not a real issue. It’s parallel to the myths about the carcinogenic effects of eating bacon – minute absolute risk. Lots of substances that we come across are potentially carcinogenic – in some quantity.

I made the comment because I feel that the rational case has to be that – rational and focused.

(I speak as one who has battled my right not to be tested – but on substantive grounds)

JayBee

The mask and test mandates violated the unalienable individual right of bodily autonomy.
This and they were deliberately introduced first, for just this purpose: to establish the acceptance of that breach of rights and the replacement of that principle with the one of utilitarianism.
Anything can now be justified and pursued under that new principle.
Some of us saw exactly why this was introduced, that it was not ‘just a mask/test’ and where this set precedent would lead to.
Which was and is the real reason for those mandates strict enforcement and for our villification anf censorship etc..

They are sprayed with ETHYLENE OXIDE for one which is a Class 1 Carcinogen. This is written in plain English on the inserts that come with the tests. There was also a report that they are made from tough fibres which are very damaging to the delicate tissue in the nasal cavity.

SweetBabyCheeses

I’m not saying your wrong. I’m just saying in the grand scheme of things I’m not that bothered since all you have to do is JUST SAY NO.

There’s tonnes of stuff we voluntarily expose ourselves to that we know is carcinogenic but we weigh the risks up and take it. Bacon, alcohol, sunbathing, living in a city, smoking.

If people want their screening swabs then more fool them for playing along with the whole charade – like you say it’s written on the packet, not a secret! There’d be no testing at all if people just stopped consenting.

If you refer back to the original post in this thread – a video of a man in hospital being told by NHS doctors they will not treat his broken neck unless he takes a test – you will see that “just saying no” in the NHS means they will tell you and your broken neck to eff off. If you weren’t so far up your own arse, you’d have noticed that I made two points in agreement about the Malone and Hodgkinson clips – but highlighting the fact that Twitter is a flawed vehicle, given its Big Tech censorship tendencies and social media flaws. So evidence of corruption at the highest level in the form of a video of Matt Hancock declaring a blatant conflict of interest is of no concern – because the link is from twitter? Forced vaccinations being performed in the name of this insidious agenda is of no concern – because the video evidence is hosted on twitter? A Canadian politician completely sidestepping a question about ivermectin in the most transparently disingenuous way is not relevant – because the video clip is from twitter? A Brit being told he can get lost in an NHS hospital because he refuses to take a carcinogenic test is not valid because the video is hosted on twitter? “New South Wales Covid update: New Zealand suspends travel bubble as Victoria shuts border to parts of Sydney” – The Guardian reports that New Zealand has suspended its quarantine free travel with New South Wales after health officials confirmed that a positive case had made the trip over the weekend Honestly, it would be so nice to be able to laugh properly at the pathetic fear-filled antics of the Aussies and NZers over this seasonal respiratory virus, without the shame of knowing that our own nation’s elites, and indeed people, are every bit as ridiculous. Once, I firmly believe, we were the kind of nation that would have resisted this mass panic. We were human beings, susceptible to panic and hysteria like any others, but we had institutions and structures that imposed restraint, checks and balances, and controls, alongside independent-minded, well educated people in key positions, all of which served as conservative brakes on radicalism. Perhaps more important, those people were raised in a culture that despised showing or acting on fear, that did not pretend that fearfulness was somehow admirable and dress it up as “caring” or “responsibility”, that believed in carrying on through weakness and illness to get the job… Read more »

The exemption for the corrupt elite of footballing is emblematic of the process and objectives here. This has not been about a virus since April last year, it is about exploiting fear, enabling the concentration not just of power, but of CONTROL, it is an international conspiracy by the rich and powerful to impose a permanent state corporatist reshaping onto the world – AKA the Great Reset – and I defy anyone to explain the evidence we have accumulated these past 16 months and explain it in any other way.

During one of my infrequent traws of the MSM to see what the sheep are being fed, found this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-57564335

As you would expect, even the headline has the stink of dishonesty about it; reading the article you find that 36% of the public, “trust most of the news, most of the time”, (up from 28% in January).

Even so, 36% (if true), is extremely dispiriting; after all the obvious lies, still that many people switch on the telly and generously gobble up the tripe they’re fed?

Incredible……but yet another reason that propaganda so easily achieves its purpose….most of the public now have the critical thinking skills of a goldfish.

Even the 64% who say they ‘don’t trust the news’ may, in large part, be influenced by the comprehensive propaganda stream. It’s a bit like those who say they want politicians to be honest and incorruptible , and then vote for Johnson – well up the list for the award of ‘the most dishonest politician to cross the threshold of Downing Street’.

And the nature of that propaganda stream is pretty unique. It is all-embracing, and, even given the skills and the will, the average Joe has a massive task on to get behind its facade. A lot of the effect will be subliminal.

I don’t know anyone that trusts the news, so to find that 36% do, “most of the time” is dispiriting. I don’t think the article says, but I suspect the remaining 64% don’t “mistrust” the news, a chunk of them may trust it “some of the time” for example.

Whether 36% disapoints, or encourages, depends on personal expectations i suppose……can I apologise to all readers who have injured themselves rolling about on the floor laughing, due to the fact I thought the figure would have been much closer to zero.

There’s been a sudden flurry of newspaper hype about restrictions, including wearing masks, being dropped next month.

While I am extremely pessimistic about this and believe it will be another deliberate false dawn to crush spirit, I worry that the only reason the government would be prepared to lift restrictions is when they make ‘vaccine’ mandatory.

Madcock has openly admitted, without a single sign of protest, that those who’ve been jabbed will receive preferential NHS treatment – a hint at social credit vaxports.

We have to be careful not to be blind-sighted by the promise of freedom while the social credit system is implemented.

I think many of us have the same thoughts – that this is but a prelude to pressing the button again as winter respiratory disease begins its usual growth in the autumn.

And if July – why not now? There’s absolutely no rationale. Actually, Johnson could play a clever, if deceptive, game by pulling the date back again. I could write the propaganda script. I have a nasty feeling that the perpetrators will get an undeserved bounce from the relief of the Masseskin.

Even if face masks were no longer required, you can bet that some people would continue to wear them “just in case”.

My mother has a friend in her late 70’s/ early 80’s who has worn a face mask all through this year and most of last. She has asthma and must carry an inhaler. I have pointed out that she is medically exempt and not required to wear a mask, but she is so afraid that she continues to wear one. She is having breathing difficulties, dizzy spells and wheezes a lot, but will not drop the damn mask!

With that sort of mentality, I very much fear that masks will not disappear quickly.

I think in the main those that will continue are the people who choose to mask up outside. In my experience, 10-15%.

It will enable us to point at them and make them uncomfortable for wearing one, just like they have done with mask refuseniks.
