Euro 2020 and Wimbledon Matches Used as Pilot Events for New “NHS Covid Pass”

A new “NHS Covid Pass”, showing a user’s vaccine status, as well as recent test results, will be piloted at upcoming Euro 2020 and Wimbledon matches and could later be introduced at a range of other sport and entertainment events, despite the Government deciding against making Covid status certificates compulsory for attendance at mass gatherings. The Mail has the story.

The existing NHS App, which already provides details of a person’s vaccinations, has been modified so that there is an option to enter Covid test results.

Those who have not been double-jabbed will be able to do a lateral flow test at home and then log it on the app. Spot checks will be performed on a small number of spectators arriving at grounds to show they are being truthful about their negative result.

A Whitehall source said… “The NHS Covid Pass will help us to safely unlock capacity crowds at the Euros and Wimbledon and hopefully deliver a fantastic summer of sporting success.” …

Wimbledon and Euro 2020 matches will be used as pilot events as ministers consider whether the NHS Covid Pass should be used more widely.

The Government has ruled out making it compulsory for venues to make people share their coronavirus status. Instead, they are concentrating on giving organisers the option of asking fans to use the NHS Covid Pass so big sporting events can go ahead safely.

All courts at Wimbledon will operate at 50% capacity for most of the tournament, which kicks off in less than two weeks.

Both [only!] the women’s singles final on July 10th and the men’s singles final on July 11th are set to be played in front of full capacity crowds.

The whole thing is a joke but I’m a bit concerned about the sound of these “spot checks”. Are they going to corner random people at Wimbo and force them into having a PCR test? I go to Wimbledon most years and Presumably you could just make up your LFT result but I’m not going to be getting the NHS app either way! Yet another thing they’ve ruined.

Dobba

. . . and that’s the kicker – you have to download and install the NHS app. Either way, they’ve got you sucked into the system of normalising the app to give your approval.

I think you will have to be able to present your bogus self-test result on a piece of paper instead. Same as with the restaurants.
Can of legal worms otherwise.

The whole thing can be summed up in 3 simple words. Portugal versus Hungary.

Last night’s euro 2020 match between the two was played in a stadium with a capacity crowd. No social distancing. No masks. Will be VERY interesting to know if a) there was any kind of vaxx pass in operation at the gate for entry to that match and b) whether there will be a covid spike afterwards.

The whole thing is nothing more than virtue signalling and distraction. While the population is shuffling around doing their best to try to comply with all the requirements to try to achieve some kind of ‘normality’ no one is looking at the real issue which is the control, surveillance, creeping “papers please” policy which will apply everywhere.

I could be wrong but am pretty sure the commentator said that the crowd were fully vaxxed, so presumably had to prove this for entry.

“Those who have not been double-jabbed will be able to do a lateral flow test at home and then log it on the app. Spot checks will be performed on a small number of spectators arriving at grounds to show they are being truthful about their negative result.”

LOL! So you pretend to take the test, report it as negative, go to the event and you probably won’t be picked for a spot check.

Even if you are, the spot check will likely be negative and even if it is positive it doesn’t matter because the test isn’t exactly 100% reliable anyway.

Brilliant. It’s almost as if the whole thing is just a performance of virtue signalling and social exclusion, designed to shore up a corrupt “elite” by culturally lobotomising the masses.

Not like it was predicted last April/May 2020 or anything.

Presumably if a spot check comes back positive then everyone has to be sent home for 14 days and the event cancelled

This is the insanity of it all – more complications which will then require even more solutions – and yet there is a very simple fix to all of this nonsense that could end all this idiocy tomorrow and that is for the government to simply reverse its previous solutions that have so dramatically failed and are only making things far worse than they need be – reverse your past mistakes and stop repeating them – an obvious solution to this insanity for anyone with half a brain cell ….

It is fascinating to watch politicians come up with ‘solutions’ to problems that are a direct result of their previous solutions. In many cases, the most efficient thing to do would be to repeal their previous solution and stop being so gung-ho for creating new solutions in the future. But, politically, that is the last thing they will do. – Thomas Sowell

Let’s stick NHS on everything to make it feel so secure and safe and in our best interests.

Right now – I couldn’t care less if the NHS burned down with all the fucking middle and upper managers as the fuel. I worked for the NHS in the past and there’s too many good people there choked by pen pushers and fat slobs thinking they know what’s best for people’s health just so they can keep their fat pay cheques while doing sod all.

Major Panic in the jabby jabbys

Lockdowns probably wont be needed again, they will have achieved their goal – the introduction of digital population control IDs

people have been looking at the wrong threat, the useful idiots have been doing war on lockdown while promoting the experimental ‘vaccines’

prod_squadron
prod_squadron

Exactly, that’s a crucial point about people looking at the wrong threat. The looming threat is digital id, surveillance state, compulsory mrna vaccines for all manner of diseases on a rolling schedule, compulsion in general. People were squeezed by lockdowns into championing vaccines as “our way out of this” and talking them up “our incredible vaccines more effective than we ever dreamed possible!!”. Are they? We’ll see, come the autumn.

Wimbledon should grow a pair and tell the Govt they will have nothing to do with it and if the Govt want to impinge on personal liberties, then they need to do it themselves. On everything, remember the Infection Fatality Rate for Covid 19 is 0.15 and for flu 0.2. What is this new fear about?

Even this plan, which is many years in the making has flaws, many of them coming out now. Compulsory vax for care workers will make the situation even worse and those advocating them for their ‘loved ones’ will find that they will likely have to ‘care’ for them themselves when the minimum wage care workers tell them to stick their jobs. But will the social payment include compulsory jabs? Its going to be a long fight against EVIL

Mr Taxpayer
Mr Taxpayer

Yep, social care is very much a job of last resort, hence so many immigrants working in the sector The majority that do it do so coz it’s more convenient than other roles. It’s certainly not for the pay.
I see a lot of folk moving to other low paid jobs and leaving the sector.

And if it’s mandatory in care homes, logic dictates it should be mandatory in the NHS

DanClarke
DanClarke

So if they are advocating this, they need a liability clause on the jabs. They also need as they tell us of deaths within 28 days of a jab as they do with 28 days of a positive covid test,

With the govt having “ruled out” making this system compulsory (for now), I think this vax pass trend will whither on the vine. However, this requires the public to snap out of its current state of fear, thus making it more financially advantageous for these deep pocketed event organizers to cut the BS virtue signaling. As always, my optimism is tempered by our current reality and the glacial pace of the public’s awakening.

I’m no tennis fan, and Wimbledon is not, therefore, a highlight of my summer. Even if it were, I would shun it like the Plague, since at any time, especially at the finals, there will be seen some vile blond clown, probably with Carrie Antoinette, gurning, elbow-greeting, smirking, posing and taking the mickey out of the rest of us. A proper Eton Mess, in fact.

The real problem is the power of politicians in the UK. None of this mess has been brought before Parliament, probably already briefed that there’s no point. They are now following orders from Cabals, lobbyists, global business, anything but constituents. Its been a problem since Blair, and left to fester and grow.

Don’t have a smart phone. Don’t have any tests. It’s not illegal to not have a smart phone. It’s not illegal to not test. It is illegal to discriminate. Pointless theatre. Ignore. Move on.

This is one of the problems. Inferring things are required when legally they are not. The test is a great example. Where is the liability for failed / incorrect testing from an unreliable LFT, so insisting on that is utterly pointless, especially so when you can run a test via the kitchen tap and be negative. Such shit all of it.

Double dose. Then boosters. Then carbon credits. Then expressing the correct opinions on Facebook. Complete compliance, instant distributed punishment, without process or appeal.

Please please please someone with the appropriate skill set hack these apps. Constantly. It’s probably the only way to get people to abandon them at this point – if the app is always going down and/or is permanently stuck on positive result that should be enough for the sheeple to lose faith.

Why don’t they get it over with and make it compulsory to be microchipped? We know that’s the ultimate goal. We will ease (not end) all restrictions once the entire population has embraced the “freedom chip”.

If it’s good enough for dogs, it’s good enough for sheeple.
