Britain’s Covid Epidemic Will be Over if Vaccines Work Against Indian Variant
The coronavirus crisis will be over in the U.K. shortly if the current vaccines work against the Indian variant, one of the country’s top scientists said on Radio 4’s Today programme this morning. MailOnline has more.
Professor Andrew Pollard, one of the main researchers behind the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab, said the pandemic in the U.K. could be “over” if the vaccines cut the risk of hospitalisation and death as well in the real world as analysis suggests.
Lab studies by Public Health England have found two doses of AstraZeneca or Pfizer’s jab provide a similar level of protection against symptomatic disease from the Indian variant as they do for the Kent version, which caused the country’s devastating second wave.
Professor Pollard said that a few more weeks were needed to firm up this claim, but he added that, traditionally, vaccines offer ‘much, much higher’ protection against hospitalisation and death than mild infection.
However, both Pfizer and AstraZeneca’s jabs were only 33 per cent effective at blocking symptoms of the Indian strain three weeks after one dose, compared to 50 per cent against the Kent variant. Officials say it highlights the importance of getting both injections.
Professor Pollard told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “If the current generation of vaccines are able to stop people going into hospital, whilst there is still mild infections, people are getting the common cold with the virus, then the pandemic is over.
“Because we can live with the virus, in fact we are going to have to live with the virus in one way or another, but it doesn’t matter if most people are kept out of hospital because then the NHS can continue to function and life will be back to normal. We just need a little bit more time to have certainty around this.”
Ministers say England is on track for all restrictions to be dropped as planned on June 21, despite fears the rapid spread of the Indian variant would jeopardise ‘freedom day’.

If that isn’t a coercive tactic to terrify more folk into being jabbed, I don’t know what is & would love to see his empirical evidence to back up that claim.
Of course, there is no empirical evidence. It’s not just coercion, it’s a total pack of lies.

That’s b.s.
Infection with the virus will give much better protection. You won’t need a vaccine if you’ve been infected, unless it’s a virus that rapidly mutates, in which case vaccines are also useless for future protection, e.g. the common cold.
Most people only get flu once in their lives. Vaccinations are not a full protection, and become less effective the more vaccinations you have.
The risk is over not having a mild infection, i.e. your immune system fought off the infection as its supposed to, but for those with compromised immune systems or co-liabilities where the infection might be more serious, but that’s not what he’s said here.
And these vaccines are risky, as my friend recently found out, when blood clots destroyed her adrenal glands and she now has Addison’s disease and will be on medication for the rest of her life.
The virus is nasty, and kills people or can give them long-term effects, but so can the vaccines, because they contain mRNA which codes for part of the virus particle, i.e. the spike protein, which can cause so much damage.

I heard of a couple of other cases today of young guys in their 30’s and 40’s being vaccinated and then getting clots – one has a stroke the other lost his lower leg. I very much doubt that any of these cases including the adrenal gland one you cite which will be awful for that person have been reported under the Yellow Card scheme.
Post-covid T-cell immunity is a far, far greater protection than any vaccine. There is also evidence that those vitally useful T-cells get attacked and destroyed by the vaccine. Boris’s much-publicised post-virus vaccination was nothing more than a stunt to push the vaccine agenda, which has left him vulnerable by hugely weakening his immune system.
This ‘pandemic’ is not about a virus: it’s about mass, unquestioning stupidity – led from the top.

I think you’re reading that incorrectly. He’s excusing the abject failure to prevent general population infection by the vaccine. He’s saying that vaccines traditionally have always offered better protection against hospitalisation, (which I’m sure some flu vaccine hospital pneumonia cases will be intrigued to know). But that vaccines have traditionally not offered much higher protection against mild infection.
It’s not coercion. It’s exculpation. But also it’s redrawing the parameters for success away from recurring illness, (which PCR tests are going to indicate incorrectly are COVID-19), to a reduced number of hospitalisations. So all the people suffering with post-vaccine illness and respiratory infections are not being failed by the vaccine that’s now destroying their immune system. If they’re not in hospital as an emergency acute in-patient, that’s all the vaccine ever promised, and so it has delivered. Also we can now shut down the testing centres because they’re just picking up mild symptoms.
These “vaccines” work via pathogenic priming to facilitate Indian variants and other variants.

I think I read this as saying that vaccines are good at keeping you out of hospital, maybe not so good at preventing mild infection. Which strikes me as entirely reasonable – unlike the way others seem to have interpreted it.
I mean, if you get a mild infection (possibly despite vaccination), it is exactly that a MILD infection (so get better and carry on). If vaccines don’t prevent that, then big deal. The major need (leaving coercion or not aside) is that vaccines are shown to prevent really nasty infections. It’s then rather up to you whether or not you believe that and/or choose to have the jab. That after all is the privilege of freedom of decision.
This is vaxopropaganda. There is no evidence from anywhere around the world that the pandemic wouldn’t also be over if we hadn’t had the mass vaccination programme, not forgetting that everywhere it’s been introduced we see a death and case surge in Covid (and no doubt other infections) owing presumably to the reduced general immunity occasioned by vaccination. Owing to the way stats are compiled e.g. not counting people as vaccinated until 14 days after vaccination (so if you get Covid within 14 days of vaccination that is not “getting Covid after being vaccinated”), and not counting the adverse reactions, the “efficacy” of vaccination is being grossly overstated.
The pandemic was over last summer when c19 became an endemic seasonal respiratory virus. Vaccines may have reduced severity of the disease for some elderly and vulnerable people but not, I suspect, for as many as it has killed.

I can’t get past the graph. If anyone seriously believes that the number of infections in December was 10 times that in April, then I have few bridges to sell them.
There we have the scam in one picture. Do 10 times the RT-PCR tests at over 35 CTs and you create an epidemic . Stop doing them in the same quantity as well as reduce the CTs to 25 or below, and prove the efficacy of a vaccine.
Until RT-PCRs are discredited there is nothing to stop this from happening any time in the future. They have experience now how to ratchet up the psyop and of coourse the ultimate aim of forcing everyone to have digi-biosecurity IDs is nearing fruition.

Why should they not be many more cases in December than in April?
Because last April there was an epidemic and last December there wasn’t, as demonstrated by the excess mortality figures.
Well we saw deaths peak and start their downward trend in the 3rd week of April last year..
Originally covid deaths began recording in March 2020, but I’m sure i saw one or two coded for January 2020 on more recent ONS data..

But they are not ‘vaccines’ are they. In the case of mRNA based concoctions, these are experimental gene therapies, without proper authorisation, testing history or long-term affects analysis. Neither are there protective measures in place for the recipient.

After the horror storied I have heard recently I have come to wondering “do they have a special (and big) budget set aside for the NHS to provide the care that is going to be needed for the people seriously vaccine damaged by the experimental gene therapy, people who have had strokes, blood clots, paralysis, developed guillain barre syndrome etc?”

Here’s a thought, but probably not particularly original: in order to go back to pre-pandemic “normal”, the NHS needs to be able to take the strain ( according to this article). How about spending a small fraction of the gazillions the UK has chucked at Covid-19 on investing in the NHS, to bring bed capacity back to where it was a decade or so ago? We’ve lost nearly 100,000 beds in this country. Is it any wonder hospitals can sometimes appear to be bursting at the seams? As immunity in the community must be rising ( both with those with natural immunity, plus millions ” choosing” to take the vaccines), then the likelihood of a tsunami of seriously ill patients presenting at hospital must be reduced. If capacity is increased then surely we can cope with any seasonal surge ( of any respiratory diseases) in the coming Winter. Or am I just being naive? Do the Powers that be REALLY want this nightmare over? Are they actually enjoying doing us over?
If only. There has been a lack of funding in the NHS for many many years, I don’t think this will change. Anyway I think the NHS has become the best media opportunity for all the political parties and they don’t want to lose that. Governments can use the headlines every year about the ‘crisis’ in the NHS, elevating the staff into Angels fighting a worthy cause?
