How Did a Disease With no Symptoms Take Over the World?

We’re publishing an original essay today by a senior research scientist at a pharmaceutical company asking how managing an ‘asymptomatic disease’ became the main focus of Government policy in the U.K. and around the world, when the very concept of an ‘asymptomatic disease’ is nonsensical. Here’s an extract in which he tries to flesh out exactly why the concept makes so little sense.

First, let’s see why defining having a disease based purely on the presence of a pathogen is a flawed concept. This is best illustrated by reference to another virus, Epstein-Barr Virus or EBV. You’ll be forgiven if you’ve never heard of this virus, but it could be argued to be one of the most successful human pathogens because almost everyone is infected by it. Most people are infected early in life and if this happens then EBV takes up residence in your B-cells (the cells in your immune system responsible for making antibodies) where it quietly persists throughout your life. Every now and then the virus goes into active replication and makes copies of itself which get shed into your mouth, a process that you are blissfully unaware is happening. The problems with EBV generally occur if you don’t get infected early in life but avoid infection until you’re much older. Now when you get infected with EBV, you can develop a disease called infectious mononucleosis or, more commonly, glandular fever. This often happens in young adults when they become interested in close physical contact with members of the opposite (or same) sex… which is why glandular fever is sometimes referred to as “the kissing disease”.

Now let’s apply the new asymptomatic COVID-19 orthodoxy to EBV where we define having a disease purely through the presence of a viral genome. So, according to this definition, almost everyone in the U.K. (and the world) is suffering from a new disease, asymptomatic glandular fever, and if we were to do a large-scale mass screening campaign we’d discover that there were millions of ‘cases’ of asymptomatic glandular fever in the U.K. alone!

Of course, this is complete nonsense. We aren’t all ‘suffering’ from asymptomatic glandular fever. Glandular fever requires infection by EBV, but EBV infection does not necessarily lead to glandular fever. The same is true of COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2 and so the concept of asymptomatic COVID-19 as a disease is as ridiculous as that of asymptomatic glandular fever.

Worth reading in full.

I remain very pessimistic about the outlook, but it is becoming very noticeable that a certain amount of “back-covering” is emerging.

It’s clear that individuals involved in the “vaccination” programme are getting scared, especially now that the government is moving towards injecting children.

We have to keep pushing the idea of Nuremberg II; it definitely worries them, going down alongside Mengele and his cronies in the annals of history.

The problem is that, as the situation worsens (there’s no doubt that the “vaccines” are a public health disaster), those involved will double-down on what they are doing.

Interesting take. I came down with it in my twenties and went on to develop “Long Glandular Fever”, which lasted a few months.

I got it two weeks after having my tonsils out. I went into hospital for the tonsillectomy weighing 7st 2lb, came out weighing 6st 12lb.
Then I caught GF, which was like having ulcers where my tonsils used to be, and couldn’t eat anything for about two weeks more…

Yup. Took me months to get back to full strength after it too. At the time I had it I was in the best physical condition I have ever been in. Was out flat for 2 months before I even started to recover. Long COVID is just bollocks.

Glandular fever is well known for having long term effects. From the NHS website: ”This is well known for glandular fever. From the NHS website: How long glandular fever lastsYou should feel better within 2 to 3 weeks. Some people might feel extremely tired for months. Try to gradually increase your activity when your energy starts to come back. Glandular fever can cause your spleen to swell. For the first month, avoid heavy lifting and sports or activities that might increase your risk of falling, as this may damage your spleen. How to stop glandular fever spreadingGlandular fever is spread through spit, so you can get it through kissing or by sharing cups or cutlery. Very well explained.

I also believe Mike Yeadon demolished the Asymptomatic argument when he pointed out – I paraphrase – if you haven’t got symptoms, you are not poorly and so cannot pass anything on.

The only time that probably isn’t true is in the couple of days before developing symptoms, i.e. pre-symptomatic. Otherwise, it’s highly unlikely you can spread a virus you have zero symptoms of.
Doesn’t stop the government scaring everyone with the “one in three people” b.s.

I have sent in complaints to Ofcom regarding the ad constantly on the radio stating ‘1 in 3 have no symptoms and are spreading it without knowing’. My complaint is that since there is no research proving asymptomatic spread the ad is misinforming the public.
Needless to say I’ve had no replies but I’ll keep at it.

We need to start testing for EBV

I’m sure the PCR test could be adapted to find EBV

Death from any cause within 28days of a positive EBV test recorded as an EBV death?

As Sid James said in Twelve Angry Men ‘Hang on a minute I’m on 7/6d a day doing this, we need to keep it going’

If we had tests for a multitude of other viruses I am certain we would find all sorts in circulation without symptoms that society knew nothing about. Until they started their sorry search everywhere for this current virus, mass population screening for a virus had never been done before. AND it should be stopped now!

If only this article could be distributed to everyone in government and its advisers. I am certain many advisers are very aware that asymptomatic illness is nonsense as outlined in the article but things have gone too far to roll back.

Until the government dismiss asymptomatic transmission then the poor terrified people will remain just that. There being terrified people has sad consequences not just for them but for the whole of society as their fear is currently dominating.

Agreed. This concept of asymptomatic transmission, blindly accepted, is the root of all the madness.

Of course, some people are worthless, dangerous bags of filth. We all know who they are and it’s got nothing to do with viruses.

I should imagine the government and its advisors are already well aware of it but they are not going to backtrack now after all the investment in pushing the ‘we are all going to die’ narrative that they set out with and have maintained ever since.

I have lived for several years with the need to assess illness and treatment – the balance of benefit and harm.

I really don’t need some short-trousered, flaky, scientifically illiterate vaccine salesman (i.e. Hancock) to give advice advice about what is good for me and what risk is all about.

Without acceptance of the RT-PCR test there is no asymptomatic problem.
It has to be destroyed.

Unfortunately that would signify the end of the PCR Gold Rush for vested interests, our best and most despicable people, so we can’t be having that. Better to keep the PCR testing going, using swabs which might very well create an epidemic of cancer. This is because the swabs, which have now been studied by an uber qualified Italian scientist, Professor Antonietta Gatti, have been confirmed to contain all manner of nano-particles, including silver, aluminum, titanium, and glass fibres, which will get lodged in the throat and nose and around the blood brain barrier, which they rub with the swabs, because Covid. So it makes sense to keep the PCR scam going, keep inserting these swabs into the noses of every traveller and hospital entrant and workers and of course every British child, twice a week, for the virus with no symptoms. Not only is this a MASSIVE money spinner, it also creates the illusion of an ongoing pandemic, so they can justify more and more terrorism, more and more measures, to keep everyone safe. Covid19 has an IFR of 0.15%, so why wouldn’t you jeopardise the health of all the children in the country? Why wouldn’t you create an… Read more »

Why does Chris Whitty go along with the asymptomatic nonsense? Because he wants to have managing a pandemic on his CV.

Patrick Vallance? Ditto.

Boris Johnson? Because he’s a sociopath who is doing this for kicks and giggles.

Michael Gove? Because he wants to be PM when Boris loses steam.

Susan Mitchie? Communist wants central control.

Labour Party? Wants central control.

WHO? Massively corrupt and in bed with Bill Gates.

Matt Hancock? He’s thick but not thick enough not to enrich his sister and contacts.

I find it incredible though that we have reached a situation in this country whereby to express an opposing opinion requires you to remain anonymous.

What a brilliant summary of how inaccurate language has led to bad science and thence to the insane loop of testing, variants and doom-mongering we now find ourselves in. I suggest we all cut and paste and email this piece to our MPs and the entire cabinet, if only to show that some of us, at least, know the emperor has no clothes.

The whole pandemic has been bedevilled by the loose use of terminology, which has served to confuse and frighten.

Covid-19 is a disease caused by over activity of the immune system set off by infection with SARS-CoV-2 vIrus (btw there are other viruses that do this). COVID-19 is never asymptomatic. Infection does not always progress to Covid-19.it is infection that may have no symptoms. Testing by PCR or lateral flow is for the infection. Testing for Covid-19 includes oxygen saturation and blood tests confirming serious immune disturbance.

the overall risk of death from infection is very low. The risk of death from developing Covid-19 is much higher. Conflating the terms is inaccurate, quite apart from positive tests not necessarily meaning infection. Certainly asymptomatic infection is not disease, but Covid-19 is.

A good article. The quote at the start (in the full version) by Tony Benn is apposite. The fact is that the whole affair bears the hallmarks of typical political campaigning, selective with the truth, and a degree of language ‘flexibility’, to be generous of it.

To me, the real scary thing about it is how easy it is to manipulate people linguistically. Maybe that’s obvious to those who have spent a lot of time in less peaceful parts of the world, but it’s a bit of an eye-opener for some of us.

The ‘adjustment’ of definitions from an opportunistic point of view in your trade is part of the problem as well. In particular, using the conventional ‘vaccination’ term rather than creating a new one that is more accurate for what is on offer. Might sound clever now to classify it as a ‘vaccine’, but it could undermine the ‘real’ thing further out.

If those who believe there is an entirely different agenda here to do with world order, and that the invisible virus was used to instill fear in people, so that they would do as they are told, is possible Catherine Austin Fitts (retired asst. director of HUD under George Bush, editor of the Solari report) and others offers a thorough explanation of this theory. It does not make for a pleasant read.
