It’s “Almost Certain” That Vaccine Passports Will Be Required for Large Events, Says Senior Whitehall Figure

Government insiders say it is “almost certain” that vaccine passports will be required in domestic settings, such as for events of more than 1,000 people, and that fears over the Indian Covid variant and a “third wave” of infections could be used to justify the use of passes being extended later this year. Such an extension could see pubs and restaurants requiring vaccine passports, despite this having supposedly been “ruled out“. The Financial Times has the story.

Under the plans, proof of vaccine certification, stored on the NHS app, may be used for events of more than 1,000 people once the U.K. enters the next and final stage of its road map out of lockdown on June 21st, when premises such as nightclubs are set to be reopened.

There has been some uncertainty over whether a domestic vaccine passport scheme would be adopted in England, with some arguing they would prove exclusionary to the young and minority groups. Others have questioned whether they have a clear public health value.

Those in favour of the proposal note that the pass will allow proof of a recent negative Covid test or prior infection from the virus as alternatives to vaccination, preventing discrimination.

Legislation of some form is believed to be needed to allow a mandated domestic passport scheme to be brought in, and any such legislative move would have to be voted on in parliament.

The Government will soon move into the second phase of its evaluation of large events and the role of digital certification at a total of up to 10 events before June 21st – possibly including Royal Ascot on June 15th. For those unvaccinated, a rigorous testing regime will be required.

An individual briefed on the plans said phase two trials would include events with greater capacity to find “cracks in the system” and ensure “we are fully ready for the summer”. Some of the trials will include venues operating at full capacity.

A formal announcement on phase two of the trials is expected next week, which will include a mixture of events such as sports and music. One Government insider said: “The phase two trials will be bigger and better. We want to get crowds back safely in higher numbers.”

One senior Whitehall figure said: “The first phase of the trials has gone very well and it’s almost certain that vaccine certification will be required for large events.” The official added that passports for pubs and restaurants “have been ruled out”.

Another Whitehall figure said that although no final decision had been taken, “our focus has been on big events and higher capacity venues”.

… One Government insider involved with the scheme hinted that use of passports may be widened if the U.K. suffers from a third coronavirus wave later this year. “It may be that certification has a role to play in other venues to stop closures in the autumn or winter if there’s a big surge.”

It’s their way of coercing younger and younger people (who don’t need it) into taking the vaccine.
I just don’t understand why everybody litraly everybody has to take the vaccine even young children. Is it that they’ve brought to much? Is it the only of convincing people of asymptomatic transmission? Unfortunately it does lead down the road to Mike Yeadon’s conclusion. One I desperately don’t want to believe in, but can’t dismiss. As we all know the government and appointed scientists just don’t make any sense that’s why I’m here. Nearly everyone I talk to think it’s bullshit.

Most states that went down the path of totalitarianism were normal before they started down said path. Think Russia before the revolution, Germany before the Nazis etc. Because most people are stupid and have the minds of sheep it is frighteningly easy to implement totalitarianism. In fact, as we are now seeing, the UK could actually be more susceptible to totalitarianism due to it having previously had relatively begin governments and been a relatively free society most people do not know the signs of creeping totalitarianism and the true horror that is unleashed once it is implemented.

Where have you been doing your research Susan? It is ‘others’ plural. The WEF’s inner circle consists of Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci. Probably others too, who want to remain in the background, known only to other WEF partners. 31 governments and many influential partners signed up to the WEf’s Great Reset agenda, hence the global consistency of the response. Check out who the partners are – they are listed on the WEF website. Right up there is the W.H.O. Biggest WHO funders – Gates and Xi Jinping of the Chinese Communist Party. A bit of mission-creep here, I’d say. The extra fields in the NHS App, apparently for future implementation, are the basis for an ID and Social Credit system, smuggled in under the guise of a supposedly benevolent “medical” app which “just” has the addition of adding Covid vaccination status. https://covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/help/privacy-notice/ Apparently, some Tories like D. Davies don’t like this, but, unfortunately, when he was on talkRadio with Julia H-B this morning, she didn’t get to ask him what he might do about strangling this at birth. Rampant tyranny and the usual buckets of dishonesty. What really grates is that the NHS app (which I detest the idea of anyway) is being used as a vehicle to introduce these data which have absolutely zero to do with medicine, let alone medical ethics. EDIT I’ve just had another look at the linked page, and, since yesterday, all the controversial stuff listed under the various categories has disappeared from this page. That doesn’t mean that it’s gone from being provided for in the app, of course. I did download the page yesterday, and at the risk of boring people, the bits now no longer shown are as follows:- Under “Personal Data” Vehicle registration… Read more »

But I think there was a misunderstanding. The list includes what you say – biometrics, criminal record etc – but in the second column there’s “X”, meaning “Used in certificate”, so presumably indicates which of the list is included in the app. And biometrics, criminal record etc have no “X” beside them.

You are very naive if you don’t think the X can be inserted on any field at any time. All it needs is the traffic lights and links to your bank account(s) and we have the Chinese social credits system alive in the UK.

Hopeless
Reply to  TORs

The “X” items are indeed those included in the app, which from a system design view, for what it is intended to do, makes sense. The moot point is not that the non-X items aren’t currently in the app, but that these intrusive personal data are provided for. That they were listed is either a mistake (a boilerplate from elsewhere has been suggested); or that they are still included in the design, but have disappeared from the latest version of the website through embarrassment, and were supposed to be secret anyway.

Whether “X” or not, it is blatantly obvious that the fields now removed have absolutely nothing to do with a medical application or digital Covid Vaccination certificate. It is a matter of presence, not current implementation.

Personally, I subscribe to the view that the people behind all this stuff are completely untrustworthy, and that this backpedalled revelation is something they didn’t want out in the open. The “no smoke without a fire” principle comes into play here.

If you are in good health, it costs less than people might expect to avoid the NHS and use only private services, particularly if you can find a policy with a large excess. Some health insurance policies now include unlimited online GP services, or those can be purchased separately from various providers. The NHS is mainly useful for their A&E department.

ShropshireLass

Unfortunately the app is intended for much wider use than access to their services. It is being developed by independent companies, but the remit goes beyond health issues. Don’t forget that back in the summer Matt Hancock ordered all GP practices to release to the government all patient records without notifying their patients or seeking their permission to do this, thus breaching the GDPA 2018. When queried the response was that under a special clause in the Coronavirus regulations such breaches were permitted due to a national emergency situation having been declared. That information which is quite extensive (not just names and contact details) was not only shared with the Department of Health and NHS but private companies.

How do you prove that you have had SARS-CoV-2 infection? Unless you have had covid19 symptoms in the last 12 weeks you will not have antibodies but still have immunity through T-cells.
You could still have a positive test and not be infected or infectious.
Having the vaccine does not prove anything either. There are people who have had multiple Hepatitis B vaccinations and still don’t show sufficient antibodies! The vaccine is not to protect you or others it’s to protect the NHS as you are less likely to need hospitalisation post vaccination.

They are the last line of defence. It is the lymphocytes that are important. They live for many years and can easily cope with variants with at least 20% difference from the original strain. Those exposed to the SARS-CoV-1 virus and survived the SARS disease it caused are still immune to that virus 18 years later – and they are also immune to SARS-CoV-2 because it is within the recognition range for B and T cells.

That is because the mRNA vaccines are designed in such a way that the spike proteins generated actually produce the same symptoms as the natural disease. Hence the spikes in infections everywhere when the vaccines were first rolled out and the reason proposed was viral shedding. Also the investigations into the number of people getting sick just after being injected is taking place in several countries.

I think it is more than just making billions – the mass vaccinations are key to the hidden agenda – they are the mechanism for delivering the digital IDs. Whether Bill Gates’s own personal agenda is also part of that (reduce the world’s population significantly before 2030) – and he heavily contributed funds to both the end of function chimera coronavirus laboratory work and the vaccine developments – is part of the WEF’s agenda, or not, is anyone’s guess. Have never found anything on the WEF website or in any of Schwab’s writings to confirm or deny that reducing the population is part of their Great Reset agenda.

The “well, you can have a neg test or an antibody test, so no discrimination” will be a fine, won’t it? As soon as free tests stop. No provision for T cell tests, or funding to improve those. Why not? Did you ask this, FT journalist, when you were given the deliberate leak, ie chosen to provide Gov PR, because you’re seen as a grateful lackey, not a journalist?

Vaccine passports don’t protect the vaccinated because the vaccine does that.
Vaccine passports don’t protect the immune because immunity does that.
Vaccine passports don’t protect those who are tested negative because they can catch it from the vaccinated or immune who may be infected.
Vaccine passports don’t protect the infected because they are already infected.

I think these two points are debatable. Certainly the claim that the ‘vaccine’ protects your immune system is very questionable.

In either case it is your immune system that protects you: a vaccine is just a means to program your immune system that is safer than an actual infection.

Err – not quite – perhaps you accidentally mis-phrased that comment, or are thinking of traditional vaccines, which for some that may be true? The Covid-19 drugs do not meet the medical definition of a vaccine. They use novel, experimental mRNA and viral vector biotechnology, It might be worth studying immunology in more detail. This is a useful illustrated explanation: https://onlinelearning.hms.harvard.edu/hmx/immunity/   ‘How the Body Reacts to Viruses’ 2021
We live in a microbial world, which means that we constantly encounter microorganisms that could harm our health. The human immune system continuously defends us against these threats to our survival. Understanding how immunity works is important for making sense of the news around the risk, spread, and treatment of diseases like COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus disease).
In this curated selection of videos and interactive materials from HMX Immunology courses, you’ll learn about the processes that enable our immune system to respond to microbial threats.

When my slimy local MP responds to my emails, he’ll often say that he supports restrictions as they are only temporary and we only need to be inconvenienced for a short while (listening to him, you wouldn’t believe this has already gone on for over a year).

I’m going to email him again to ask his view on vaxports – will they be temporary? And when the social credit system kicks in, will that be temporary? When we’re eating bugs instead of chicken, will that be temporary?

This is the main point, as I see it. The window of opportunity for them to finish the plan, is closing fast. Hence the reason for increasing desperation amongst the main players around the world. This window needs to be shut as soon as possible.

I think you are right PP.

I wrote to my MP at the first mention of vaccine passports to ask how they intended to get people to comply with them for pubs, restaurants and sports fixtures if voters had already tasted weeks of freedom without the need for passports.

ShropshireLass

That is why they are planning to introduce mandatory vaccinations, step by step, and passports for domestic use – initially for alleged health reasons but that is only temporary. They will be converted into full digital IDs for a hugely wide range of purposes fairly rapidly after that. (They will also be linked to your bank account, savings, investments, pensions and salary which will also be directly linked to the government through HMRC, and a wide range of surveillance systems – satellites are already in space ready for this and 5G masts are being erected on earth all over the place right now)

A recent template reply from my Tory MP: Vaccination being required for travel abroad is a longstanding concept in certain countries, and the integration of COVID-19 vaccine certification into the NHS App is designed to make this more accessible given the mass scale of vaccination that we are currently seeing in the UK. The other main plank of vaccine certification is for entry to venues domestically here in the UK. There has been a lot of exaggeration and unfounded gossip about what is being proposed and what has been proposed in the past. Please allow me to be very clear – I do not believe it is necessary or reasonable to require vaccine certification for entry to everyday places such as shops, pubs, and restaurants. Not only is it impractical to implement, but with the current requirements for social distancing and the high uptake of the vaccine, it offers no additional benefits. I am therefore pleased that the Government has ruled out the possibility of this being introduced. When it comes to allowing mass events at full capacity without social distancing (for example at concerts or sports matches), there is still some debate about what measures are necessary to ensure… Read more »

Why on earth should it make a difference whether people have one particular virus or not as to whether they can attend large events?! If you don’t want to risk the tiny chance of catching anything ever again then just stay at home. It shouldn’t be for healthy people to continually prove so to alleviate your irrational fears.

That is their benevolent stance – you don’t have to have the injection, just show recent evidence of having an unpleasant, invasive – and not without risk – negative test.

We have to make them give a shit, that’s the point. You’re not powerless if you unite but divided we fall. Simple. And I’m quite happy to take the first bullet since I’m getting on in years and (staggering I know for people of my age) looking back on the 1970s with affection for that ‘carefree’ time. Because, despite all the chaos, your liberty was not in question.

I also have fond memories of the 70’s and agree with you. But I’m not so optimistic that we really can do anything. We can forger any so called democratic route which leaves protest or outright civil disobedience. Protest is being ignored. Thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) have marched and been totally ignored. As for civil disobedience I doubt many have the appetite in reality. Sorry to sound defeatist but I’m close to giving up all hope. The only thing I can see that would have any effect is something similar to when the fuel protests happened years back znd it brought the country to a standstill. But with near total control over the media even that probably wouldn’t get reported – although the effects might be such that it was impossible to ignore. The fuel protests did have some effect at the time so perhaps a blockade type campaign is what is needed – a technique favoured by the French.

And employment law (variation of contract requires consent) and arguably Health and Safety at Work Act (duty of care to yourself as well as to others) and employer has a duty of care to you so risk assessments need to consider the potential harms of an experimental unlicensed novel drug and lack of medium and long term safety data.

Usual bulshit and speculation. Why the hell waste time on quoting ‘a Whitehall source.’ if there’s no attribution it could be the toilet cleaner. All you’ve got to do is say no and that’s that. Trouble is there’s too many people who are not prepared to stand on principle because they ‘want to go on holiday, go to the football, go to that concert.’ Freedom costs and if you’re not prepared to pay the price then you deserve to lose your liberty. And if it comes to it that you can’t buy food without having a passport then I say without reservation: it’s you shits who didn’t say no in the first place. I’m not having one and I’ll starve first. Pity the younger generation don’t have a sense of history. Fourth Reich here we come.

The virus was developed to further the vaccine/digital ID agenda.

And of course there will be a ‘third wave’ later this year, you can set your watch by the seasonal flu cycles.
