Dominic Raab Rejects Calls to Speed up the Exit From Lockdown

No amount of good news on the Covid front will persuade the Government to speed up the exit from lockdown. We are “very close now to really turning the corner” in our efforts against Covid, but not close enough that our unlock can be brought forward, according to Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab. What’s more, he said that rules on mask-wearing and social distancing could continue beyond June 21st. MailOnline has the story.

The Foreign Secretary warned “there will still need to be some safeguards in place” after [June 21st] in comments likely to anger Tory MPs who want all coronavirus rules to be lifted.

[Talking to Sophy Ridge on Sky News,] Mr Raab rejected calls to speed up the roadmap as he insisted “we are very close now to really turning the corner” in the battle against the disease.

The success of the U.K.’s vaccination programme and falling infection numbers have prompted demands for the Government to bring forward its reopening dates.

But the Foreign Secretary this morning urged people to be patient as he insisted June 21st is not far away and “we are nearly there’”.

He argued that “taking steady steps out of the lockdown is the smart way to go” to avoid undoing the progress made during the national shutdown.

He also… promised that on June 21st “almost all social restrictions will be lifted”.

To justify the “roadmap” continuing at its current slow pace, Raab said: “[The] fourth step out of lockdown is not far away now so I think [we should] just hang on.” But for the sake of the hospitality venues that have yet to reopen (and even those that have reopened outdoors), and for the sake of the nation’s mental and physical health, any amount of time still spent in lockdown is too long.

MailOnline‘s report is worth reading in full.

“almost” all restrictions is the worrying word.
In other words “All restrictions will not end”.

“Almost” means “none”. You either have a restricted life or an unrestricted life, there’s no half way.

Dominic Raab knows nothing about the road map – he’s only Foreign Secretary. Like the rest of the Cabinet, he simply obeys the PM. The PM himself obeys ‘the scientists.’ The scientists obey ‘the evidence.’ That’s why how right they can be. Your MP is most likely to obey the whips. Parliament has been pretty empty for a year – both physically and politically. They are shadows. For what it’s worth, I won’t bother to vote this Thursday.

Dominic Raab probably does know about the roadmap.
He’s lying, just like the other ministers, because what he says isn’t logical, unless there’s a completely different motive in play other than “controlling the virus.” That motive is more about controlling the population.

And one of those “scientists” running the Government is a long-time (and current) Communist, one Professor Susan Michie, member of SAGE – a behavioural scientist. That is to say, she is one of the behavioural scientists directing the fear-mongering, to keep us under control. You just could not make this stuff up.

What we need to do now, is organise a movement similar to the “yellow vests” movement in France. There has to be a highly organised visible protest before the rogue Governments of the UK will pay the slightest attention. As we have seen, even hugely attended protest rallies don’t make the news.

When are people going to wake up to the fact this has nothing to do with our health and everything to do with keeping us in our homes while they go on holidays, dine out and have a wonderful time. Oh how they must be laughing at our stupidity.

Nothing these snakes are doing in the name of Covid19 can be justified on any level, so in saying this, Dominic Raab has unveiled himself as a defacto enemy of the people of the United Kingdom. He should be removed from office asap, he is a liar and a fraud and he is causing great harm to the people of this country. He is ignoring the science and fuelling the fantasy that a virus which justifies the actions of the government is in circulation. This is provably false and has been known to be false by the government since the IFR became established in March 2020. High consequence infectious diseases (HCID) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid#status-of-covid-19 Status of COVID-19 As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK. There are many diseases which can cause serious illness which are not classified as HCIDs. The 4 nations public health HCID group made an interim recommendation in January 2020 to classify COVID-19 as an HCID. This was based on consideration of the UK HCID criteria about the virus and the disease with information available during the early stages of the outbreak. Now that more… Read more »

This is what happens when you accept a date to lift the restrictions, you are buying into the fact that they were necessary and have made any difference at all. Lockdown has killed more poeple and pushed sickness into winter at best. Beyond that it’s all been one big joke.

“We observed an abundance of patients admitted to hospital within 7 days of vaccination”

presumably this is what happened in India. Just after they had almost defeated the virus. But those patients would have been spreading it around

When I get time I’m going to look at the stuff published by our most lockdown fanatic scientists over the last decade. I bet some have been calling for winter masks for flu for years. We know Devi wants alcohol banned. I think we have always had these social misfits and control freaks – they’ve normally been in dark corners of Universities being ignored – for some reason they are now running the country!

There are two issues that are weighing on the government’s minds ( well three if you included redecoration).
Firsly the ‘restraints’ cover up the effects of trade flows after TransEnd on 31/12/20. Its not good new, best covered up for as long as possible.
Secondly they have to publish the paper on ‘Improving the Energy Performance of privately rented homes’, which is the forerunner of the same for all homes. Costs of £20k per household at least for having colder homes. This is going to go down like a lead balloon in Tory land. They have to get it out under the cover of removing covid restrictions , yet its so damn difficult they are frightened of the effect.
So yes there are idiots on SAGE, but I strongly suspect this is about politics, pure and simple.

Prof Openshaw wants us all locked down forever

He has a paper here
https://cmr.asm.org/content/cmr/18/3/541.full.pdf

discussing diseases enhanced by vaccines

“After subsequent RSV exposure, the rate of virus infection in children receiving FI-RSV [the vaccine for RSV] was no less (and was perhaps even greater) than that in a control group immunized with a control parainfluenza vaccine. Most remarkably, 80% of RSV vaccinees needed hospitalization, whereas only 5% of RSV-infected children given the control parainfluenza vaccine required admission. Illnesses among RSV-infected FI-RSV-vaccinated children included pneumonia, bronchiolitis, rhinitis, or bronchitis; two of the vaccinated children died (87). Importantly, these trials were conducted in the absence of prior animal testing.”

“The severity of illness was remarkably dependent on the age of the vaccinees, with the younger children suffering more severe symptoms.”

“enhanced RSV disease occurs within 2 years of FI-RSV administration (128). Therefore, a window of protection may be followed by a phase of disease enhancement (111), followed by a final period during which immune memory is still measurable but neither protection nor enhancement is seen.”

good that we can learn from past mistakes!

Some of us have refused to obey from the get-go and the same some of us will never obey the rogue Governments of the UK – every last member of each of these Governments should be put on trial for crimes against humanity. Although maybe we ought not give them a trial – that would be to confer on them some human rights. Human rights are clearly ‘nice to haves’ that they don’t deeply believe in.
