12 Year-Old Schoolgirl Suing School for “Requiring” Pupils to Wear Face Masks

MailOnline has picked up on the story we’ve been highlighting in our daily newsletter for over a week: a 12 year-old schoolgirl is suing a Sheffield multi-academy trust for “requiring and encouraging” pupils to wear face masks. The case is being supported by lawyers at the Law or Fiction group.

A schoolgirl is suing a school for “requiring” pupils to wear face masks which she says “risks causing children serious harm” to their physical and mental health.

The pupil is suing the Tapton Academy School Trust, which runs a number of primary and secondary schools in the Sheffield area, to stop it from “requiring or encouraging” children to wear masks at school to prevent the spread of Covid.

The 12 year-old, known only as AB, who is exempt from wearing a mask at school, says mask-wearing could lead to “long-term” harm.

But the Trust argues that it only encourages the wearing of masks, in line with Government guidance, in order to protect children, staff and visitors.

The Trust also says that 120 members of staff across its various schools, representing more than 10% of its total staff, have contracted coronavirus since the end of August last year.

At a remote hearing today, AB’s lawyers asked the High Court to grant an interim injunction preventing her school and the Trust from making children wear masks.

Francis Hoar, representing AB, told the court: “The school’s policy risks causing children serious harm to their physical health and their mental health.” …

“If the Trust had done its job properly… it would have gathered evidence and reached a view as to the effectiveness of this particular measure, but it has done no such thing.

“There is no evidence, effectively, of the efficacy of these instruments that are supposedly necessary to avoid the risk of transmission of the virus.”

He argued in written submissions: “The available evidence shows that not only is there no additional risk of transmission of the virus in school settings but also that, by comparison to any ordinary social or work setting, the risk is likely to be lower given the extremely low prevalence of the virus in schools.”

Mr Hoar accepted that AB did not have to wear a mask at school, but added: “The child is still faced with a school environment where a child, save those who are disabled should, must rather, wear masks, and that is enforced, the child says, aggressively.”

I believe masks to be totally useless. I belive that vaccine drove the virus low, and will drive it to negligible levels. We have won this time, for sure.

over 100 years of science agrees with you on masks. Your trolling about vaccines on the other hand…

We could never have lost, nothing significant happened other than a failure of human systems.

I don’t pretend to know exactly what has caused virus prevalence to decline but I do note that it declined quite sharply last year.

What do you think caused that?

Vaccine anticipation!

Hahaha!

Definitely a thing, as we saw with the recent Oxford study based on ONS data, in which being up to 3 weeks before first vaccination date was as effective as the vaccination itself. https://staging.dailysceptic.org/2021/04/24/new-oxford-study-confirms-spike-in-infections-following-vaccination/

Yes, if people feel they have missed out, by not yet having had Covid, they need to get the dodgy injectable pumped into their bodies and then bingo.

Yes it disappeared over the summer and I’m quite sure they will bring it back in the early autumn.

Simply it’s the seasonality of corona viruses, something not accounted for in the models. If you search using Google scholar for ‘corona virus seasonal’ with a date range 1990 to 2018 ( this avoids all references to SARS-CoV-2 whilst demonstrating that the seasonal changes in corona viruses are well documented). Given that this information must be known by SAGE (at least I hope it is!), then there’s absolutely no need to take the tiptoe approach.

It’s called seasonality. Happens every year with the bog-standard flu.
Same will be for the kungflu.

Yep – I know. I was hoping to provoke fon to think about possible confounding factors.

I believe masks to be totally useless” You don’t need to believe. All that is required is a review of the evidence.

We have won this time, for sure.” I don’t know which “we” you’re referring to, or what has been “won”. My takeaway from this is that “we” being non-mad people have, so far, been losing the war, but we must keep in fighting against the folly and evil for as long as it takes, which will likely be at least decades, maybe centuries.

Thanks for that – an excellent study, (not knowing German, copied article’s title then googled with ‘translate this page’ for very readable result).

Lots of facts & figures that should be seen by more.

Francis Hoar is in contact with Reiner Fuellmich in the Stiftung Corona Auschuss. He contributed on the Special Session: International Legal Offensive – Part 1.
It will be essential at some point to bring in a challenge in court to two fallacious supports of the global covid-19 fraud: the nonsensical PCR test and non-proven asymptomatic transmission.
A challenge to masks that calls for evidence is a move in the right sort of direction.

The big question is how quickly this case will be allowed to progress through the courts. I know it can take a long time for cases to be heard even without all the extra burdens of social distancing etc. but it seems like a lot of legal challenges are being deliberately held up in the hope that restrictions will be lifted before any legal challenge is properly heard in the higher courts.

The case must be pursued with all possible vigour and a high level of damages must be sought. If necessary, it should be crowd funded.

It’s like “Cost-Benefit” analysis was never invented. What are the costs of children wearing masks (considerable) and what are the benefits (zero). It’s not even close: Don’t do it!

If you would like to contribute to the legal fund for this case you can do so (and keep up to date with progress) here;
