More Than Half of U.K. Population Has Received First Dose of Covid Vaccine
More than half of the U.K. population has now had the first dose of a Covid vaccine, according to Government figures. Data shows that the number having received their second dose is nearing the 12 million mark, strengthening the case for the lockdown to come to an end. Despite this, the dominant Government narrative suggests that the current phase of lockdown could be in place for more time than has been anticipated in the roadmap, not less. Metro has the story.
Out of the country’s 66,650,000 people, 33,388,637 have received the jab, according to Department of Health figures released today.
A total of 11,623,671 have received their second shot, equating to 17.4% of the entire population.
The total number of vaccinations given in the U.K. now stands at 45,012,308.
Only people aged 16 and over are currently able to get the jab, meaning the proportion of the eligible population to be immunised is even higher.
Today’s update from the Government revealed another 40 people have died within 28 days of testing positive for the virus, falling by more than a third in a fortnight.
Data from the Office for National Statistics shows weekly infections in England dropped by a fifth last week to 90,000, despite the reopening of pubs and restaurants.

This is a really dumb and unthought-through statement.
Since lockdown never had any evidence-based rationale, and twelve months on, this has been confirmed beyond any scientific doubt – how can you strengthen the case against it?
How can 100% rubbish be increased? – unless your talking about the twisted minds that are always going to be in denial?
The important thing is that assenting to the unsupportable vaccine narrative weakens the case for a true representation of Covid.
There are only two measures in our response to covid19, lockdown or vaccine. It is mostly progrees through vaccine that has prompted goverment to reduce restrictions.
The virus simply did what a virus does – leaky vaccine with no significant real risk reduction or not. The Oxford study confirms this when you unpick it.
That’s stats, not religious conviction.
Having done its worst last year Covid is now just another seasonal virus, time to stop pissing about with lockdown, though people can always shield if they think it will do them any good; Social Distancing/masks, though people can still do it if they want to; and vaccines, I don’t even mind funding those who want to get jabbed.
Leave the rest of us in peace to get on with our lives.

Since the vaccine prevent almost 100% of serious illness and death, the answer to your question is probably zero.
Really? And the 627 fatalities since Feb 3rd following the AZ vaccine?
And the 2 overlapping mortality spikes in the over 80 population following (a) Community vaccine rollout and (b) Care Home rollout.
I suggest you check the UK’s Yellow Card system, or the USA’s VAERS system, both of which will easily show you that your statement above is hugely incorrect.
Alex Berenson’s twitter thread tracks the VAERS. He’s been told that the system now is overwhelmed; weekly reports don’t come near to reflecting actual data.

As we know, that the not-really-a-vaccine was likely to create asymptomatic carriers was clear since before they rolled them out for those who chose to read the label on the tin.
If I understand that video correctly Dr Lawrence Palevsky is saying that all vaxxed people are now proper little virus factories and thus a threat to the rest of us, for life!
Herpes infections are another side effect of the vaccine.
